Shout out to the Flower Studio for my impressive anniversary bouquet! Popped in here for a nice bouquet for my wife for our anniversary today since I conveniently work in this complex now. I picked a few beautiful ones they had on display; the girl was nice and offered helpful suggestions. Came back later to pick up my bouquet and was impressed! However, the lady brought attention to the fact that one of the flowers I picked out didn't smell as "fresh" as the others so they offered another one they had on display instead. They redid my bouquet in less than 5 minutes and it looked even prettier! My car ride home, the bouquet even gave my car a great aroma! I must say these ladies definitely are passionate about their work and it shows in the quality of the flowers and the prices are reasonable. This place has my stamp of approval! read more

I used to work in the Continental Towers where the Flower Studio is, so I often considered getting flowers and plants from them. My husband has sent me flowers from there before, and I usually thought they were great quality. Fresh, nicely vased, etc. They had a good policy on returns/exchanges if the flowers died within 3 days. But I think the rude owner and employees overpowers the lovely flowers. I went in on lunch to look for flowers or plants for friends, my mom, whatever. The owner often had an attitude and didn't encourage browsing in her store. (Even though it was clearly a storefront and not all workspace for her.) I also find them to be terribly expensive, and not very timely with deliveries. Like I said, I worked 12 floors up from them and my flowers would be delivered hours after my husband was told they would arrive. read more

Not only was the person on the phone helpful, I was able to pick out the right arrangement at a fair price and have those flowers delivered within 90 minutes of my call (which is what I really needed) My wife was happy with the flowers, and a week later Janet from The Flower Studio called me back to see if me and my wife were pleased with the flowers and service. I used The Flower Studio for my wedding centerpieces, personal bouquets, bouts and corsages. They were the preferred vendor of our reception venue, so we thought they would be a good value and would produce quality products. In general, the pricing is comparable of other flower shops around the area but we really chose the Flower Studio because it was small shop and we got to speak to the owner, who handled all of our meetings. Our communication, email and phone, was okay... not bad but it could have been better. I had to email Karen, the owner, a few times to make sure she received some attachments- wedding party lists and other details about the church. I also should have put a couple things in writing because things seemed to be missing the day of the wedding (i.e. banana leaves wrapped inside the vase- to hide the stems of our center pieces and my toss bouquet!) Anyway, I really liked the two floral arrangements we used at the church and then re-purposed at the reception. The bouts and corsages were very good too. The centerpieces we're... just fine. I should have asked for a sample because I thought it would have been a lot fuller, especially when she suggested to add hydrangeas. My bouquet was nice... I was surprised it was almost the same size as my bridesmaids.... but cost the more. My bouquet was "orange" while my bridesmaids were ivory with some greenery and berries. Okay, I added the quotations with orange because the color of the flowers I received were not what I asked for.... They were a bright coral instead of a mixture of oranges like a peel and flesh of an orange and flesh of a cantaloupe, etc etc. Oh well... Just an FYI: be specific with what you want and get samples of what you want. read more

Karen and her team are extraordinary, creative, and very talented individuals. They provided flowers for my wedding centerpieces, which were perfectly packed, delivered on time, and priced reasonably. Months earlier, I came in with a centerpiece project involving geometric paper sculptures, and Karen worked with me throughout the design process to find the perfect arrangements for my unique project. In particular, the bridal bouquet took my breath away. I wanted to incorporate orchids and they were magnificent, artfully angled, and the color scheme was perfection. There was also an air plant, which I once mentioned loving and was delighted to see in the final product. The bridesmaid bouquets were also stunning and the groom's boutineer was very elegant. AMAZING FLOWERS!! I used The Flower Studio for my August 2012 wedding and could not have been more happy with how they turned out! They were the freshest most beautiful flowers I have ever seen and most of all EXACTLY what I envisioned them to be on my wedding day. The owner is very easy to work with and makes sure every detail is exactly how you want it. She knows so much about her flowers and how to make them exactly how you imagined them. I met with her a couple times before the wedding to talk about what I wanted and most of all what could fit into my budget. She worked with me down to the last penny making sure I was comfortable with the flower choices and the final budget. Best of all, I didn't have to worry the day of the wedding because everything was on time and set-up exactly how I asked and looked better than I ever could have imagined. I still get compliments on how beautiful my flowers were and how they truly made the day even brighter. One of my biggest concerns was matching the flower color exactly to everything else and she made it happen!! The Flower Studio did all the flowers for my wedding in November and they were a dream! We had a meeting early on in the planning process where we discussed the vision, the costs, and other logistics. Then closer to the date of the wedding they presented their interpretation of the vision and it was right on, in fact better, and more unique than what I pictured in my head! They shared a couple different center piece ideas that had different prices which helped put everything in perspective. They also made sure I was comfortable with the colors of the bridesmaids bouquets which included flowers for the groomsmen as well. They decked out the church, cocktail hour and reception hall without a hitch. The ceremony was in the suburbs and the reception was downtown, but again, everything was executed flawlessly. After visiting numerous vendors I knew after meeting with Karen, the owner, that they would be doing the flowers for my wedding. She understood the vision I had for the day, and made helpful and unique suggestions to enhance my "vintage-style" wedding without steering me away from my original ideas. Karen was also very professional, prepared, patient, and friendly which made it easy to explain my thoughts/ideas. On the day of the wedding when I first saw my bouquet, the church, and later the reception hall I was in awe! All the floral arranagements were beautiful, lush, and exactly what we had discussed in our meetings (if not better)! I received so many complients throughout the day/night from my guests. Even my reception coordinator was amazed. She told me the day after the wedding that she has never seen the room look so beautiful (and such beautiful flowers)! Not only were the flowers and arrangements stunning, but the prices were very reasonable. I was on a budget, and Karen made sure to stick to it.
