So I called the shop in PLENTY OF TIME for them to accommodate my request. Then this morning I called to check on my $100 floral order. Welp, I was told working on it, then I get a call back from the store hours later stating that they are sorry but the flowers that the supplier sent them were brown and dead. The woman stated "I can't in good conscious send these Gardenia flowers today because they are brown not white. Now mind you this floral shop is notoriously overpriced to begin with and they had 6 days to get this order right, instead of saying that they would refund me for the inconvenience they just offered nothing. So disappointed, now my mother doesn't have the gift I wanted her to have because I trusted the wrong flower shop! I will never ever order anything from this place again! Pesches should have offered a refund and sent an arrangement for free for not placing my order correctly. Even after I explained how important it was that she receive this particular flower. How much she loves them and they still ruined my gift giving experience! How incompetent. I would not TRUST them for anything ever again because they don't stand behind the product they sell! Your a floral shop and a big one and you can't find a Gardenia that is in season now I might add! Hundreds of them in Florida and you had SIX DAYS!!!!! FURIOUS to say the least!!!!

My mom is ill and in the hospital, and though we thought she'd be released this afternoon that plan changed. I wanted to get her something because it's New Year's Eve. I saw that this shop was open until 1 p.m., which was great because I got there between 12:45-12:50 and planned to run in and grab a quick gift of some sort, definitely getting out of there before they closed up. Others have had a good experience so it seemed kismet. When I walked in the store the woman (I assume Jenny herself) was on the phone and she hung up quickly and I was hoping she could help me find something quickly. But when she came over she asked "how can I help you?" and after I explained the situation and that I wanted something small to take to my mom, she said that she was about to close and already had her car running outside and didn't have time to make something up. I hadn't alluded to that and didn't actually want to wait for her to make something up (both because I knew it was nearing their closing and because I wanted to get to the hospital to see my mom). She gestured to a plant that she had, but for many reasons I wouldn't get a plant for someone else. I thought maybe she'd have a gift item of some sort, perhaps not a floral item which would be fine. She told me that the florist at Advocate would probably have something. (I wasn't planning to stop and get something from their floral shop, which was good, because they were closed this day and the following). The whole time I was here I felt like I was intruding and that she couldn't wait to push me out the door. When have you ever been to a place where the employee (or in this case owner!) tells you that they have their car running outside?! That isn't meant to make people feel welcome or like you want to help them. I just don't even understand the point of her having been open her regular hours this day or even at all if she was on such a tight schedule. And she followed me out to take down her signs and stuff. I left empty handed, rebuffed by Jenny, and knowing that I'll never patronize this business nor could I ever recommend it to anyone given my experience.
