I was hungry but not that hungry where I wanted to eat a lot of food especially late at night it's not recommended however I was hungry. We walked around armature works. I noticed the food and their pizza looks fresh and amazing. I didn't want to get a full slice I just needed something like appetizer so I got the buffalo chicken pin wheel. The price is affordable for the area. The place was clean and stuff was courteous immediately asked me what do I want to order. I've been well could have been heated up a little bit longer I like it super hot and crunchy. Soon as I took one bite I didn't stop it was delicious I usually don't get buffalo cuz sometimes it's it could be those spicy or hot for me but this was more about the flavor and the spice content. So this is our 2nd visit to this trendy Pizza restaurant. Offerings a large variety of in house made pies. Hand tossed and cooked right in front of you. For those of you who are pizza affectionate. GRANDMA'S pizza is on the menu and displayed to bring a smile to your face, as id did mine. My first visit was a quick drop in while rushing to the next activity at the convention center. I had a slice of Blanco. it was delicious and layered with white sauce. Ricotta,and loads of real mozzarella. Wings were served hot and tossed in a nice jared buffalo sauce, nothing I have not tasted before. It lacked that "yummm factor". My pasta came with a nice crisp tossed Cesar salad with a delicious dressing and parm. As you see I did not even get a Pic. Al LA vodka is my most favorite Pasta sauce. This was full of flavor just the right consistency, and balance of flavors. The pizzas at the prior visit were good, crust cooked to perfection but not foldable, meaning went too far. Still very enjoyable. So, now to the 2 stars...as seen on thr receipts. We were over charged...OVERCHARGED from the menu price was not reflected on the receipt. The cashier immediately became frustrated and said " well that's how it rings up". Hummmmmm, basically she was saying just to pay it anyway. Oh. okay.. even with her error of 2 sodas, which I do not drink. We called the manager he figured it out and corrected the transaction. My question is But did you correct the register error and apparently EVERYONE IS BEING OVERCHARGED!!! Cash is not preferred, credit card purchases are. This was not great pizza but I'm from Philly so I have high expectations . Bland, not good crust. Cheese was bland too. Gave Fold another try at Picklefest. Was pleasantly surprised as I really hadn't like their pizza when they first opened. The crust was much better than I remembered, crisp and not doughy. This slice didn't have red sauce which I also remember not being a fan of. There was a good amount of toppings and the balance of flavors was well done. At over $7 for this slice, I think it is overpriced. read more

This is one the best mushroom pizzas and white pizza slices that I've had it a long time. The crust was absolutely delicious and perfectly thick! The mushroom slice was to die for! The mushrooms were so tender and well seasoned that they tasted like meat. The white pizza had a beautiful caramelized onion flavor with the sweetness of the hot honey! Pizza was so good that I had to let the pizza maker know before I left! I can't wait to come back and get the garlic knots and try a different pizza! Went with the wife for the Premier League fan fest in Tampa. We ate here for lunch in between one of the games. I got violently ill with extreme food poisoning. This was the only thing I ate for the entire day it couldn't have been anything else. I ate two of the hot honey chicken slice. Completely ruined our vacation and we had to go home early. read more

The garlic knots were best enjoyed fresh after service as they had a crispy shell and a doughy soft inside. The garlic flavor was also very strong from the garlic butter. They were tasty but once they became cooler, the bread turned firm. The Nico pizza was delicious. My favorite part was the meatloaf slices as they are perfectly integrated into the pizza and do not fall off or breakdown the pizza in a single bite. The flavor of the pepperoni and the meatballs were also very good. The dough on the pizza leans on the dougher side, I did not eat my crusts because they were too thick. We were excited to try The Fold, but pretty disappointed. We were missing two slices ($16 worth of pizza), and when we got home and realized, no one was able to answer the phone and we were too far away at that point. We messaged on IG but have not received a response. For the food, the garlic knots were basically just plain rolls (basically no garlic or butter) that were very crunchy and hard. Sauce was good but didn't really help the hardness of the knots :( the pizza we did get (super Mario, margherita, and blanco) were all pretty good! Only thing is that the crust was rock hard and we couldn't really eat it. Overall, I really hope someone can get back to us to help with our issues during this order. There was no one in front of or behind us when we ordered, so we're pretty disappointed. read more

We wanted a quick dinner and we were close to the Armature Works so we tried this. It serves hot slices of pizza by partially cooking them and then second baking (or warming) when you order. The plus: The Firebird pizza. Buffalo chicken, jalapeños, hot honey, mozzarella cheese and sauce. I'd put the heat level as maybe upper mild but not at all hot. Flavors were great. This pizza is delicioussssss and such a great addition to Armature Works! I will say the pizza doesn't look that appetizing in the case because the slices are congealed and cold. However, they reheat the pizza before serving it to you. I tried the blanco and the meatball slices. The meatball pizza was very solid but the blanco absolutely blew me away. It has caramelized onions and honey that takes it up a notch. The prices are fair as well. I only knocked off a star because we waited 30 minutes (!!!) for our pizza slices because they ran out of blanco after I already ordered. Usually, it takes about 10-15 mins for your order, which is still quite a long time. I do appreciate that the pizza is nice and hot when you get it, but for a quick service spot like AW, 30 mins is a ridiculously long amount of time. Hoping it was just an off day! read more

Okay so let's start with the firebird slice. The firebird slice is: tomato sauce, mozzarella, buffalo chicken, jalapeños, & hot honey. Yummm. This is good. It definitely has a kick to it. I may or may not have taken some jalapeños off but the buffalo chicken on it is tender and the buffalo flavor comes through well. The dough in general is good but not so much that I'd just want to eat the crust without the ranch. Yall. They must make this ranch and I'm a sucker for homemade ranch. It. Is. Good. I started dipping my garlic knots in the ranch because it's so good The garlic knots are perfection. So much garlic. Crispy buttery outside but soft inside. What a great addition to Armature Works! I was looking for something fun, fast, and tasty. While strolling past the stalls in AW I saw a new, busy location--an inviting, delicious window displaying at least half a dozen pizza slices. I saw the typical Cheese, Pepperoni, Sausage, and Supreme, but also some interesting, unique toppings, Firebird Primavera to name a few. I decided to give it a try, I really couldn't help it because it smelled delicious and looked even better. I decided to keep it simple and I ordered a slice of pepperoni. The cheese had that beautiful pull, and the pepperoni was the perfect topping, but let me tell you about the crust; an amazing flavor, that was crisp in all the right places with a light chew. I enjoyed it so much that I grabbed another slice to have for lunch today. I heated it up in a pan, on low heat with a lid to melt the cheese and it reheated beautifully. While waiting to place my to-go order the manager James introduced himself. I then complimented him on the amazing taste and quality of his pie and told him that he would be seeing me again, soon. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the pizza was at the Fold. I was expecting it to be just okay and had heard from others that it didn't blow them away, but I thought it was really good. We got the special heart-shaped pepperoni pizza for Valentine's Day, but I am looking forward to going back soon and trying some of the slices. I wasn't expecting much from this new spot, but the Garlic knots ARE THE BEST IN TOWN. Large in size, slightly crunchy exterior, soft interior, tons of flavor, and not smothered in oil. The specs of garlic add a nice crunchiness as well. The Trio (heavy on cheese, which I loved) and Primavera (unfortunately, It was stuck to the aluminum packaging, so I didn't get to sample it entirely) were pretty good.
