    Half cheese, half anchovy...

Great sports bar atmosphere, four TVs the other place is pretty loud... They serve a very crispy pizza, with a good amount of cheese and sauce, enjoyable, but not memorable ...

I always get excited when there's a chance that a local pizza place takes me back to my pizza roots in NJ & NY. Zerillo's is a nice looking restaurant. The waitress we had today gave great service & was very personable. We each ordered their lunch special of a couple slices of pepperoni pizza & a drink for $8. The pizza arrived piping hot. The pizza folded just like NYC pizza should. The crust looked perfect. To me, getting the crust right is the hard part. So Zerillos nailed that. Unfortunately the other ingredients fell totally flat. The pizza sauce was flavorless. Not once could I even tell it was there. The cheese was super flat & tasteless as well. Finally, the pepperoni was ALSO lacking flavor. I am really not sure how this is all possible. Like I said, the hardest part is getting the dough right. And Zerillos did an amazing job there. But the rest of the ingredients were super dull & super flavorless. This is all fixable with better ingredients, but for now the amazing dough & crust are like an empty canvas waiting on better potential.

Well, this review starts off on a negative note. NO, not about Zerillo's, but about ANOTHER Italian place I attempted to go eat at (THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED, that I could tell you is maybe twice the price as here, and that's all I'll say about it) which turned me away, so on my way back home seething a little, I stop here. And my night turned around. This is a cute little spot, that's like a lot of fast casual New York style pizzerias, and VERY good. The interior is bright, welcoming, and overall very clean. The girl at the counter was cheerful and greeted me upon arriving. She told me to expect my food in about twenty minutes (well, it was more like twenty-three, but who's counting, right?) I was definitely in the mood for Italian, but nothing overly fancy, just simple good, comfort food. I went for their baked ziti and had a side salad with it. Since the food's reasonably priced, I added some wings to the order for my partner. I live sort of a long way from Oldsmar, but the food was still fresh and hot, and the salad crisp, when I got back. I REALLY loved the ziti! There was a good ratio of ricotta, mozzarella, and actual tomato in it (not heavy marinara with little cheese like I sometimes get with ziti). I had a nice creamy texture to it and the pasta was perfectly cooked. It's a huge portion, so I divvied it with my partner, and had the side salad which was just the right size, all fresh and crisp. The food really hit the spot, and maybe it was a good thing I took a detour from that OTHER place (THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED). Thank you, Zerillo's for your hospitality and good food.

Cute little pizza place in an almost deserted strip mall in Oldsmar. The guy at the register was extremely nice and friendly. I ended up going with their lunch special (which I loved was still available on weekends). I got one slice of cheese pizza, and the side caesar salad with balsamic dressing instead of caesar dressing, plus a fountain soda. I sat at one of the three booths available, and had my salad quickly in front of me. The pizza was warmed up, then brought out to my table. Both were really good. The salad tasted fresh, and the cheese pizza had a great flavor. I'm never in this area, but if I were, this would be on my pizza pie rotation.

3 booths & a small seating bar, but hear they're expanding!

Great pizzas. And service is top notch. They get busy so may be a little slow but it is understood.

The pizza was really good, I would give it a 4.5 but I also ordered meatballs. The meatballs were very mushy and not a lot of flavor.

5 Stars for an Italian spot that hits the mark with every dish and every pizza! Pro-tip: get the…read moreLuca Salad and Tiramisu. You'll thank me! We were a group of 5 and waited about 10 mins for a table (no reservations), but that gave us time to scope out the menu. The Luca Salad is not to be missed. It's got kale, romaine, radicchio, Marcona almonds, dried black cherry (YUM), and a cashew-balsamic dressing. This salad was a fan favorite with our group and I've been thinking about it since! In terms of the pizzas, we enjoyed the Sweet Baby Jane (tomato, house-made mozzarella, soppressata, and calabrian honey) with a thin "NY-apolitan" crust. We also got the Jess Knows Best pizza (truffle honey, goat cheese, mushroom, caramelized onions, thyme), but we got it with the "taglio" tall and fluffy crust. All of the crust options are made with naturally fermented sourdough and we were a split group on the favorite crust type. The toppings were a perfect blend of savory, sweet that hit every note we wanted. The pastas were -chef's kiss-. Our fave was the Creamy Tomato Vodka- which had a touch of heat, but totally doable for a heart-burn-prone gal like me. Lastly- we got the Limoncello Cake and the Tiramisu. Both were completely devoured, but the tiramisu is something speciaaaal! They bring it out in a baking dish and serve you at the table. I almost asked "how much for the entire tray??" Overall, one of my new favorite spots in St. Pete. I'll be returning!

I came with my coworkers and we all did family style so I got to try a bunch of different dishes…read moreall at once. Everything was great, but if I was coming back with just myself and one other person, here is what I would get: Luca salad: I'm never a huge salad guy, but I always enjoys something fresh. This salad had me scraping the plate and looking for seconds. Sweet Jamie Kay Pizza: We got this one thin and it was so good. We had another of the thick pizza with mushrooms and goat cheese. It was great but the thin pizza was my favorite. Creamy Tomato Vodka pasta: this was a crowd favorite at the table and everyone wanted seconds. If you want some protein, add a side of meatballs because those were delicious as well. Tiramisu: We shared a few desserts, but honestly this was one of the best tiramisu I've had in a long time. They bring it out in a big baking dish and I wish they left the whole thing at the table.
