The caramelized onions paired with the crunchy onions were a double whammy that could topple a few hot dog title holders. The real winner, though, was the sauce--definitely something Asian-inspired. There's no spice from the mayo or hot sauce so if you don't like spice you'll be fine. I also tried their bulgogi fries which came with bulgogi meat, jalepenos, cheese and cilantro. My first reaction was it was delicious but it wouldn't be something I would get again, but after I kept eating it I realized this is actually really good and now when I go back I'll definitely try it again. Right now they are operating as a pop up while they get the building ready. The food was so good I visited twice in a week! So far I have tried the steak, chicken, and shrimp and you can't go wrong with any of them. The steak is my favorite but all 3 proteins have good flavor and are cooked well. The veggies included are fresh and are cooked just long enough so that they blend in with the rice and meat, rather than crunchy veggies standing out. That's a huge plus for me and something that other hibachi places don't always get right. You can order yum yum sauce, teriyaki, sriracha and ginger sauce to complement your meal. The plates are flavorful enough that you don't even need a sauce. Even the rice has good absorbed flavor from the other ingredients, without being greasy or partially seasoned in spots. One person can easily fill up from one of the single protein options, and have leftovers if you order the 2 or 3 protein options. All of the employees are friendly and helpful, and the spot is already a chill place to hang out and catch up with members of the community. I'm glad they opened up near me and look forward to my next visit.
