    Handmade gorditas
    Leslie R.

Happy to have found them again after they moved out of the canino market. OMG this is hands down the best food truck ever!! Their new location is 2709 Airline Dr. Between 27th & 28th streets. COME TRY THEM!! (8am -4pm) closed Thursday's.

Have been going here for over 10years. It's the best taco truck, especially their tripita. Thank You for adding my photo on your main page! My family loves your food, and you're are so welcoming every time we are there!

Taco al pastor, taco de beef fajita and chicken and cheese gordita! Delicious!

I came here on a Saturday, and it was so good I came back the very next day! The gorditas are something special! I've tried the tacos and gorditas with beef fajita, chicken, and pastor. ALL are delicious! Also, I'll admit I'm a bit of a wimp when it comes to eating animal intestines, but you need to try the sweet breads (mollejas) here. For $2 you can't go wrong, right? Give something new a try without wasting $20 at some fancy restaurant. A few chunks of this meat ended up on my taco plate, and it was divine! I'll definitely get a taco or two of mollejas when I return next. Honestly, I think the best thing about this little truck is how golden brown and crispy they get the edges of the meat or the gorditas, while still maintaining the tender center. Both the green and red salsas they offer are really flavorful! The red one is super spicy though, so watch out! Definitely stop here on your next trip to the farmer's market. The best way to get there is either to walk OR drive up the alley/aisle on the far south side (closest to Service Street) of the farmers market, and you can likely find parking right by the truck. There is no seating and it's cash only.

Fajita gordita with no onions and no cilantro.

Was around this side of the area and got a gordita craving. Thanks to yelp, I ended up here. Now keep in mind this food truck is inside the market area (on the back side), I kept looking around for it and couldn't find it until I looked towards inside the market area. I ordered a fajita gordita without onions and cilantro. It was soooooo good!! The lady left the tortilla very crunchy, it was one of the best gorditas I've had. I was so tempted to try their Tortas too but I knew I wasn't going to be able to eat it, so I will definitely have to go back. The fajita was well cooked and it was the actual meat (a lot of places leave a lot of the fat in the meat and I'm not a fan of that). I got to try their Jamaica drink too and it was good as well.

I definitely craved a Coke or a beer while eating this because that salt kicks your taste buds' *ss. The caramelized onions paired with the crunchy onions were a double whammy that could topple a few hot dog title holders. The real winner, though, was the sauce--definitely something Asian-inspired. But hey, I'm running on five hours of sleep, and that's the best my smooth brain could come up with to describe the experience. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

I got their famous hotdog with spicy mayo, french onion, sautéed onions, and hot sauce. (That's how it comes standard) don't get me wrong it's definitely a lot going on from the flavors and the messiness of the dog, but the flavors balance out very well and the all beef hot dog is delicious. There's no spice from the mayo or hot sauce so if you don't like spice you'll be fine. I also tried their bulgogi fries which came with bulgogi meat, jalepenos, cheese and cilantro. My first reaction was it was delicious but it wouldn't be something I would get again, but after I kept eating it I realized this is actually really good and now when I go back I'll definitely try it again. Overall I definitely recommend this place to visitors or even locals

While the tacos and quesadillas are small, they pack a huge punch in terms of flavor and taste. There's no bad protein they serve, all are delicious in those corn tortillas with the onions and cilantro packed in. Drizzle it with that green salsa and squeeze that lime to take it to another level. Favorite proteins are the trompo, barbacoa, campechanos, boss, and tripa. The quesadillas are basically the tacos with melted cheese; worth paying the extra 50 cents for it. I enjoyed the tacos so much I came back every day while I was in the area. And I'll keep coming back whenever I'm in the vacinity. Cash only, they are packed nicely in small paper trays and wrapped well. Near a gas station so you can use the ATM there if you are cashless. Well worth it, added to the rotation!

After taking our son to an event nearby, we decided to stop here before making our trek back home. One note to point out: if you follow Chicano BBQ on Instagram, apparently that's the best place to find out their location. We went to the address listed, and they were definitely not there. So I went to their latest IG stories, and while they posted that they were out and about, there was no address listed. So I called and found out that they were less than half a mile away from where we were. Crisis averted. We walked up to the food stand (not food truck) located in the courtyard of a restaurant and promptly ordered 2 smash burgers. A few minutes later we were told, "sorry, we don't have anymore burgers." My soul was crushed, but I was at least happy to try the Brisket Torta Croissant. Plus, the owner sent me a voucher via text that I can have two burgers on the house next time. The good news: the torta was absolutely awesome. As was my wife's brisket sandwich. As was the elote. I do not have a single note. We are an hour away from this place, but I would love to take them up on those burger vouchers in the future if I have the opportunity.
