The atmosphere is incredible with incorporating the German culture with their decor and food and beverage. I ordered a pretzel and it came hot and served with two separate dipping sauces. The basement included lots of entertainment options such as shuffleboard, jenga, and connect four.

We stopped in to Prost while visiting our daughter in Fort Collins. All of us enjoyed our beers. They have a great selection of German beers and tasted great. We watched some NFL playoff games on the TV over the nice warm fireplace and played some of the board games they had on hand. Our family had a great time and the place was warm and cozy. I highly recommend this place if you are in the Fort Collins area.

Tasty German beers. If that's what you're looking for then be sure to try this place. They won a silver medal for their pilsner at GABF. This bar is also dog friendly. Went on a Saturday afternoon and saw so many doggos while sipping our beers. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly. Social distancing is enforced here too. Be expected to write down your details in a book upon entering.

My 1st stop on a recent Colorado beercation! Conveniently located in Old Town, right in the alley adjacent to the brand new lovely, boutique Elizabeth Hotel. Prost is a very chill place and felt like a neighborhood pub. The staff and other patrons were all very friendly and accommodating with service and recommendations. Prost's actual Brewery is located in Denver, so I would call this a Tap House. As you might have guessed by the name, the focus here is on German style beers. Ask for samples of any tap you like. They do a pretty good job at staying close to their roots, while also offering a few higher abv brews. I enjoyed everything I tried. Flights (BYO @2.50$ for each 5 oz taster) and pints available. Also, have 32 oz crowlers premade or filled to order for takeout (chose to bring a Doppelbock back to Austin). Good stuff! Cheers...er, um, I mean Prost! *Outdoor seating available in alley "patio." *Assorted merch for sale.

I love German beer, so this is a place I've visited a few times. I finally got here again after a while and noticed that the place has changed a little. I like the indoor game set up and the stage! Parking can be a little tough if you don't want to use the parking garage, since the location is in Old Town and the brewery is in the alley. The beer is really great, but doesn't have my favorite versions of some styles. I particularly enjoyed the Kölsch this time, and brought some food inside from a nearby restaurant. The service was excellent, and that has been my experience each time I have been here. There a few different size options for beer, from a taster glass to a 68 oz glass boot, wow! I had other things to do, so I didn't choose the boot ;) . When you are ready to leave, you can fill a growler, grab a crowler, or snag a six-pack of beer from the fridge. There is a ton of seating inside and they can handle quite a crowd. They have corn hole, giant connect-four games on the tables, and other fun things to do. Events are hosted fairly regularly, so you have many excuses to come and grab beer here. I would definitely recommend checking out Prost, whether you think you like German beer or not! You will have a great time and will be treated right!

Husband and I walked into an almost empty bar and the bartender/server with the short pixie haircut had a rude attitude towards my husband and I. She was very impatient and condescending towards my little knowledge of German beer and kept interupting me as I tried asking questions about the differences between beers. We also ordered a somewhat decent pretzel and a side of what we thought was cheese, which was an extra $2.00. After we got our food, the cheese turned out to be the plastic cheeze dip you get at a bowling alley or movie theater nacho. Wamp Wamp Wamp.

Prost Brewing is one of the best places to get an authentic German Beer. They use authentic German ingredients and brewing styles. They have a great selection of beers, the atmosphere is super cool and in a historic building which is very warm and cozy. The staff is awesome and will help you make the right choice for a beer. It's one of my favorite breweries in Fort Collins!

I've come to this brewery a few times for some classes, and it was a such a unique experience that I would recommend to anyone! They are very true to their German roots, and that can be seen throughout from the building to the beer. There is a variety of beer to try and everything I have tried so far i thoroughly enjoy. There is a large outdoor beer garden space with good music and nice big tables that big groups can sit at. It's also dog friendly which is always a plus. The indoor space is large and fun to explore, with a basement that has fun games to play including shuffle board. I will be coming back, whether it's for a casual study day or to have fun with friends! The owners are so friendly, and very knowledgeable about the beer!

Super cute a dog friendly with amazing beer and cocktail options! Biergarten is a great vibe, the patrons and their dogs are super friendly!

It takes a little bit of sleuthing and dedication to find this little gem of a brewery hiding in an alley in Fort Collins. The German style brews were maybe not the very best I've had but they are overall good and we had a great time checking this place out. I'd definitely check this one out if you find yourself in Fort Collins.

Great space and atmosphere. Decent beer. But surly unfriendly bartender made us not want to hang out and drink here.

We originally planned to stay for happy hour, but ended up spending nearly three hours there because we were enjoying ourselves so much. Social is one of those rare places that completely lives up to the hype. From the moment you walk downstairs, the atmosphere transports you to another era. The speakeasy vibe is authentic without feeling gimmicky, and every detail has clearly been thoughtfully designed. It's a super cool speakeasy with a warm, inviting interior that makes you want to settle in and stay awhile. We shared the charcuterie board, which was excellent, and enjoyed both the champagne and the bourbon. Everything was high quality and thoughtfully prepared. Ryan, our bartender, really made the experience special. He treated us exceptionally well, made us feel genuinely welcome, and provided outstanding service throughout the evening. What started as a plan to enjoy happy hour turned into one of the most enjoyable evenings we've had in a long time. It's the perfect place for a date night or simply a relaxing evening with exceptional food, outstanding cocktails, and an atmosphere that's second to none. We'll definitely be back now that we live here in Fort Collins. If you're looking for an unforgettable experience in Fort Collins, Social is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended!

2.5, edging down to 2 stars…read more Not the best food experience I've ever had. They're rated really high -- actually one of the highest-rated restaurants in Fort Collins -- and from a food perspective I don't really understand why. Sliders with sweet potato fries -- fine, nothing extraordinary. Potato éclairs -- . It was really just mashed potatoes with some topping on it. I honestly didn't even finish it. Mountain oysters -- huge letdown. They came out so overcooked they were basically crunchier than potato chips, with the batter crumbling off. I've never had them before, so I didn't get a good representation of how they're supposed to be -- these were just super-cooked batter. On the space: we ended up sitting in three different spots to eat. We went outside by the street first -- super loud, and people were smoking, so we headed back in. The open spot inside was right under the AC and about forty degrees, so we moved to the back area. The back was fine -- covered -- but pretty dirty, with mop buckets and clutter sitting around. The one drink I had was a good value since we were there at happy hour -- some kind of fruity whiskey drink. It was fine, but nothing I'd seek out again. I hate to give such a friendly place a bad review. It'd be a really great spot if you're a college student who wants some cheap bites and a drink -- but honestly it's just bar food, and the ceiling is probably a 4 on a really good day. I wouldn't get excited to head down there, and parking is a bit of a hassle too. Would recommend only if you're after very cheap eats in that area -- check them out for happy hour. But I would not return.
