We were greeted by the same waitress, Jo-Jo, who had served us previously. She remembered us and even pointed out the table where we sat during our last visit. Her energetic and welcoming demeanor set a fantastic tone for our meal. We ordered Bellinis and asked for assistance with specific dietary requirements, specifically a request for no salt. Our waitress was incredibly accommodating. She arranged for the chicken breast and prawns on the Joe's House Salad to be prepared without salt or spices, with the peanut lime dressing served on the side. My Jerk Chicken Wrap was also excellent. Everything was prepared perfectly to our liking, and the staff even kept our take-out pizza warm while we were detained a bit. Husband had added=cost gravy for his fries and mushrooms for the steak. He remarked that he liked the fried onion strings on top. I had a couple of the fries and they were the coated type that I think should be banned forever, but he was fine with them. The gravy was reasonable without being memorable. We had the sticky toffee dessert to share and the server was kind enough to take a photo for us to remember the special day. The decor overall is pleasant resto pub style with seating arranged to allow for private conversation. The staff all seem focused and professional in their work. Initially, our server came to check up on us the first time after 5 minutes but didn't show up again until the 15 minute mark to take our order. Our orders itself took roughly 45 minutes to come out and we were not checked up on during this time. When the food itself came, most of the food was just slightly above room temperature and not hot. This experience made us feel like we were eating because we were hungry but not because we enjoyed the food. It was also disappointing as well since the prices here are definitely pricier but didn't reflect in the quality of food and service. The ambiance of the restaurant is dark and trendy making it seem like a go to place for people to come for drinks. It seems like this is a better place to come to chat and drink with friends than really get a quality meal.
