Probably our top meal in London. Before I talk about the food, I want to highlight excellent…read moreservice. One of our group has a tomato allergy and we weren't sure how much of a selection he would have. The waitress went back and redlined the menu to show what he could have, what he couldn't, and what they might be able to alter. Super nice and it didn't take more than a few minutes. As for the food, a-maz-ing Indian. I recommend their prawn special - not too spicy but very flavor forward. The naan was a nice side to order as well. This location is fairly big with seating on the main floor, downstairs, and outside in a cover lounge area. We had a reservation, although they probably could have handled us if we didn't. That said, it was a busy weekend and the place looked fairly full by the time we left, so maybe grab a reservation. Enjoy!

Not just "hyped", dishoom deserves the recognition!…read more SERVICE Amazing service, easy to make reservations online, and easy to check in and get seated once your entire party has arrived. INSIDE Spacious, clean, and plenty of seating both upstairs and down. MENU For larger parties, they recommend their prefix menu which includes a various sampling of lots of delicious items. FOOD 10/10 I haven't eaten Indian food much, but was thoroughly impressed. From my mango lassi which was perfectly sweetened and tart to buttered buns, fried okra, black Dahl, garlic naan, and lamb skewers, everything was delicious. I esp loved the lamb skewers! We ordered a side of garlic naan with cheese which is basically a quesadilla and it was super cheesy and delicious as well. OVERALL Would def recommend Dishoom when visiting London. It'll definitely be a hit in your books!

Nice interior. This was my first London diner experience. Staff were friendly. Prices are average…read more I ordered the Full Monty, which is there English breakfast. I've had better. Bacon was too oily. Potatoes tasted over-seasoned. I'm not a fan of mushrooms in general, so I couldn't tell if they were good or not, I just don't like mushrooms. I was most disappointed in the beans. They were heavily seasoned in some kind of curry, when all I wanted was normal English beans. The food wasn't terrible, I was simply expecting better quality.

The waiters were nice but the food was not the best. I got a scrambled egg on toast with smoked salmon & the salmon had a fishy smell to it, was flavorless and there was barely any hot sauce available. My friend also thought her burger was just okay as well with the biggest positive point being the bacon. That being said, the fried dough balls dipped in chocolate were really great and so were the holiday specials for alcoholic drinks. While the inside was spacious and retro and had a cool vibe, I have to knock down points for the actual food itself and wish that I had kept the memory of how much I enjoyed this place pre Covid as that since I wouldn't make my way out to this restaurant again even if I'm in the area.

Oh. My. Goodness…read more This place is so beyond good that I have literally just finished my meal and have rushed to write a review. So I live around the corner and have always popped in, in an attempt to try their legendary burgers. I've always arrived on the last day etc etc and left it. The open hours that come up online and are not accurate and need updating, they were certainly open later than 8 when I visited on a Wednesday. Alas, today. The lovely chef/gentleman working behind the counter in 34 degree heat talked me through the options. I went for the Veg Thai green curry with rice and a beef steak (in some delicious sauce and Parmesan). The Thai green curry had unbelievable depth of flavour - actually rivalling many Thai restaurants in my opinion. The beef steak. So flipping soft. HOW!? Simply blown away. I don't really know what else to say to be honest. So much love and care has gone into this food - you can really tell - I'm serious. If you find yourself walking by and are tempted - please give it a go. Their lasagne looked amazing too... I haven't even mentioned the price - dirt cheap considering the area and far superior.. Go! Go now!! Grazie Cafe Twelve.
