    Baked Haddock
    Jessica B.

Very cool spot. Especially if you can get a seat outside! Or if you are using the driving range. I've been here many times over the years for both private functions and regular dining. Every time I've had a great time and the food has been consistently decent... On my most recent visit, I came here for dinner with friends. We started with the nachos, which were much better than expected! The chips were smothered in an ample amount of delicious toppings and a cheese sauce (not just plain shredded cheese) but were somehow not soggy at all. Everyone at the table raved about how good they were! For my entree, I ordered the baked haddock and let me tell you, this is one of the BEST baked haddocks on the South Shore (and I've had a lot of them!). The fish tastes fresh (not frozen) and the buttered breadcrumb topping is delightful. The broccoli that came with it was also delicious and cooked perfectly, however the rice was surprisingly bad - I thought it had a terrible flavor! Even still, I would order this dish again for the haddock alone, I thought it was that good! Would definitely recommend checking this place out, especially outside in the warm weather :)

One of our favorite spots for lunch or dinner and hit a bucket or 2 at the golf range. The range is an in great shape, perfect size. Plus one of the best burgers on the South Shore! Dining is available outdoors and indoors. Excellent all around. Atmosphere clean, well lit, spacious comfy booth seating and great music. Service was excellent. Friendly, polite, attentive, professional and fast. Drinks were awesome and cold. Food was the Best. We ordered the chicken tenders sweet Thai chili style, the prime burgers and double eagle burger. Perfectly prepared and awesomely delicious. Priced right. Highly recommend. Definitely return to try the other items in the menu.

Apple Rosemary BBQ Classic Chicken Wings

Came here on a Friday night and although parking was brutal, we were quickly greeted and seated outdoors by the driving range. Food: The apple rosemary BBQ wings were juicy and tender, recommended for those interested in bbq flavor. For entrees, we ordered hot chicken sandwich, range chicken sandwich, and steak tips. All 3 were good and flavorful, though none were screaming out as must try. Good atmosphere, would return if I were to participate in the driving range.

    Botched drink

The fish tacos were delicious and our first round of drinks were good. However, our server did not check on us once past delivering our meals and we were never offered another round in the entire hour at our table. We went inside hoping for better bar service and it took us 15 minutes to be seen. I ordered a drink outside that was delicious, and ordered the exact same thing inside - tasted like battery acid and did not have mango, the main ingredient, in it. I was also served a warm green tea shot. We cashed out and went elsewhere. The service here needs some serious improvement.

    I'll leave this here!!

Last night we came to the Range to celebrate my husband's birthday with our seven year old son. On arrival we checked in with the hostess and were told to sit outside, the wait time would be 15mins. We agreed to wait. After waiting for 35mins I noticed guests who had come in after us were now being seated before us. I approached the hostess desk to ask would it be much longer for a table and pointed out to her that the guests she had just seated had come in after us. She quickly responded with "Yes that's true but they are VIP guests because they have friends working here"! I was in total disbelief she would say such a thing. We were totally treated unfairly and disrespectful. We refused to stay and left with a very upset seven year old boy who had been so excited to have dinner and play at the driving range with his Dad. I did ask to speak to a manager who was not helpful at all. In actually fact she told me those guests were on an online wait list and the hostess had misinformed me. Today I went on the website and there is NO online waitlist!!

Yes Sully, there is golfing at The Range. It's not just clever branding, rather a completely functional spot for all your drinking and driving needs. Damn, what a horrible phrase. Strike it from the record. It's true, though - a massive full-service restaurant and bar with a killer al fresco scene overlooking the namesake driving range and those looking to pummel it with buckets of balls The first time we came here, we made a huge mistake and sat inside. If the weather permits, you have to plop it outdoors, friendo - it's a game changer for the experience, as the food was hit or miss. Same with cocktails; solid beer list with a lot of local stuff. Almost always busy but the staff and kitchen cans handle a massive crowd, so don't be intimidated. Complimentary "bread basket" is a bowl of housemaid ruffled potato chips and dip!

I am really happy to have found this spot. Limited 2 page menu but the options all sound delicious! Normally I only like a couple things when it's a small menu but I can't wait to come back and try the rest! Tonight we had fried pickles which were great, could have been a little crispier for me but still good. They have complimentary chips and onion dip which were mighty tastey! Main course today was the range tuna melt. The bacon in it was so crisp and melted in your mouth. The quality of the tuna salad was also superb. All together with the special wheat bread it was a beautifully executed tuna melt.

Awful driving range. There is no putting green. Maybe the food is decent, but you can't really call this a practice facility.

She was the only one literally waiting tables, working behind the bar and bringing food out with a very busy and packed restaurant during the peak of lunchtime! We're very observant and noticed they were short staffed but it not feel like they were because Shelby was that great. Mozzarella sticks were crispy on the outside with great gooey cheese pull inside. Fries could've used an extra minute to crisp up but the flavor was good and we didn't mind it too much. The pizzas are very delicious! Great undercarriage and crust is cooked to perfection with great flavor. The Shepards pie was the star of the show! Perfectly seasoned and absolutely delicious!!! Unfortunately, my experience was quite the opposite. During our visit, I witnessed the owner loudly reprimanding children and their parents for typical child behavior. Additionally, our order was not fulfilled; the steak and cheese egg rolls were unappetizing and resembled a processed paste, and the side salad was simply a mix of greens with ranch dressing, despite my request for balsamic vinaigrette. Furthermore, the owner's aggressive demeanor was alarming. He followed me outside, questioning where I worked and suggesting that I should endure the same treatment. This incident escalated to the point where he demanded $400 for wall damages that were nonexistent, as there was no visible marker on the walls -DUE TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DRY ERASE MARKERS. or because the child wrote her name so small that even if it was permanent marker, you would never be able to see it, but they were doing something wrong and we did have a conversation with them. After they stopped crying because you screamed in their faces While I understand that children should not write on walls ( even though looks like you can and has markers on them), the response from the owner was excessive and disproportionate. I believe that a more professional approach, such as a polite reminder about the rules, would have sufficed. This experience is disappointing, especially since we had previously recommended your establishment to others and enjoyed our visits. For families seeking a positive environment, I suggest considering alternative venues, as our experience did not reflect the welcoming atmosphere promised. .

The food and service were not up to snuff, as our waitress was rather slow and inattentive. The salad I ordered was STILL not correct in that it featured items which I specifically asked to be removed. I did note that my salad was brought out in a bowl and not a sheet pan, which was an improvement over last time. The thing was that there were less than 10 people in the restaurant at the time as we arrived around noontime and I would have thought that the waitstaff would have had the time to attend to us in a proper fashion, but they were content to mill about close to the bar area. The drinks were OK and though not spectacular, were still good and met with my expectations. Apparently, management has yet to take appropriate steps to ensure that the waitstaff is attentive and the food is brought out properly. My wife ordered things that were more in line with this restaurant's strengths and she thought everything was fine, but as with the last time I was here, it seemed that little attention was paid to dishes that are not fried or battered in some way. While I realize that it is impossible to be all things to all people, when I order something at a restaurant, I expect it to be perfect considering the prices. All in all, I will not be returning to this place unless some serious improvements are made not only in the quality of the dishes, but in the attentiveness of the staff.
