Food was just not good. Again. Keep trying and keep wanting it to be better than it is. New ownership maybe? Not what it used to be. Bummer.

    Special: Filet Mignon with Shrimp

I went last night for dinner with my husband and really can't complain about anything we had. Our waitress was very attentive and if we asked questions she didn't know, she got us the answer instead of guessing. She brought us a water container and already filled glasses (which is such a small thing but so nice and appreciated). I had the New York Strip and it was cooked perfectly. I didn't care for the steak sauce, but you don't need it with the butter they make for the top. My husband had a special which was a filet and shrimp, also very tasty. My only critique being that it is fairly loud in there and the parking just seems too narrow, though there are ample spaces.

Date Night way long over due, we went ended up at The Blacksmith in Pembroke, I got Recommend by a couple of Co-Workers, we started with a Wedge Salad, it was delicious, and d our Mains were: I got the Patty Melt with Tater Tots, it was so good and the Tots were amazing, one of my favorite Patty Melts so far, Elizabeth Buffa got the Meatball Sub with Sweet Potato Fries, she liked her Meal too same with the Sweet Potato Fries, we had Leftovers....so much good Food and lots of TV's, definitely going back there again

Steak Frites (minus fries which came later)

So many mixed reviews on this place but we've driven by a few times and the exterior is so inviting we committed to a try - and we were not disappointed. We arrived around 830, seats were open at the bar and we sat and were greeted immediately and had drinks in moments. They do have a small but very impressive Scotch collection. Started with the fried chicken bao appetizer- SO GOOD. The chicken was a little spicy and a lot crunchy and it was a great combo with the soft buns. My husband got a caprese and added steak tips, I got the steak frites which come with a green salad. The fries came out little later which is why they're missing from my photo but they were Parmesan fries and they came out piping hot and very flavorful. The request for a rare steak was accommodated perfectly and we passed our compliments back to the kitchen. This seems to me a great spot for an intimate tasty meal!

I don't understand how this place isn't 5 stars across the board. First visit today. Staff was professional and friendly. Food was immaculate. The flavors on all our meals were so vibrant. The atmosphere is very chill. Highly recommend. We also saw several dishes go past us for other customers and they looked amazing.

Service was horrible and slow. Missing items on the food we ordered. Waited for drinks and food.

I enjoyed their Two Truths and a Rye while my friend had an espresso martini. I settled on a cup of sweet potato soup (delish!) and the meatloaf. My friend had the chopped salad with sirloin tip side. She loved the salad but we both felt the tips portion was very skimpy. We finished off the meal with the limoncello mascarpone cake. Our server, Rachel, was exceptional--friendly, anticipatory, always filling water glasses and checking back. The dining room is part of a Colonial home that has a charming vibe. The bar area was crowded and hopping! I'd go back again and again.

The place is order at the counter and online with table seating inside and smaller table seating outside. The food menu offerings include pizza, calzones, salads, subs, paninis, pasta, burgers, sushi, poke bowls, fries, onion rings, fried calamari, chicken dumplings, meatballs, wings, chicken fingers, street tacos, mozzarella sticks, kids menu, cooler drinks (Coke & Pepsi), and baklava. The pricing seems pretty reasonable. Before going inside, I checked out their online ordering platforms, Toast (in-store menu prices) and DoorDash (higher prices/a few deals). I almost ordered the Haven roll on DD (BOGO), but I decided instead to order on Toast. I ordered the Baked Poblano Peppers ($9 plus tax) and the Bolognese ($14 plus tax) served with garlic bread. The estimated order time on Toast was 15 minutes, but my order was ready & packed in 25 minutes since my items required more prep time. I actually enjoyed some of my hot food at an outside table despite the wind. The portions were generous. The 2 baked stuffed poblano peppers with stuffed with a sweet ricotta & sausage mix with spinach and smothered in a savory tomato sauce, sort of like lasagna, but with peppers instead of noodles. The Bolognese was packed heavy into a foil container with pappardelle noodles, slow cooked meat, carrots, celery, herbs, in a rich creamy tomato sauce. The hot baked garlic bread was buttery. I repacked my food when I enjoyed enough and enjoyed the rest of the food the next evening.

They have some good draft beer options, but it could be colder. We tried the Korean wings for an appetizer and shared the plate between the five of us. The bread service is excellent with crusty type bread and it's served with green oil and yellow olive oil and cheese dipping sauce, a must-try. So far i have always gone with the chili seared yellow noodles either with chicken, shrimp or just noodles and it is spicy as it has some red peppers in it but it is excellent, served with chop sticks if you prefer to use them. I would not recommend the salads there, my wife hasn't been happy with them compared to other restaurant offerings. Reservations are recommended and watch the hours because they close after lunch at 3pm and re-open for dinner at 5pm. The menu is varied but I am always laser-focused on the yellow noodles for good reason. Service has been good and attentive.

My favorite chive oil (complimentary) remains Sorelle in Abington, but The Square offered a very tasty version of their own. My pork belly tacos were delicious--maybe fewer raw red onions in the slaw, or use pickled ones, since they did dominate the flavors. My friends enjoyed the burger and the smoked turkey grilled cheese--more club sandwich than actual grilled cheese. The fries were crispy and hot. We didn't have room for dessert, but I'd like to go back and try the salon burger and the Wedge salad. I didn't get our server's name, but she was friendly enough and checked back a few times. There were plenty of staff to clear dishes or refill water glasses. The price point is a bit high for lunch as compared to similar establishments, but the interior is clean, modern and hip, so I'm sure the rent factors into the overall costs. I'd go back again.

About 25 tables, but not tightly packed. Felt like an Italian restaurant where you might just share with the table nearest you. I could order nearly anything on the menu. Then it was Splitsville: I mean we split a salad, bolognese and chicken parm. Garden/House Salad was described as fresh, what the kitchen could get, flavorful and colorful. It was all those things and didn't disappoint. Chicken parm was not fried. Was Bell & Evans chicken breast not beat to hell. Was plump, juicy and flavorful. Maybe the best I've ever had. Well she said she was unable to do it because it was a policy in both of their restaurants but that she would send over the manager. He arrived and explained that the charge was TO HELP COVER THE COST OF THEIR IMPORTED GOODS LIKE CHEESES AND OILVE OIL.. and something about the tariffs... and they haven't raised their prices for 2 years. Well maybe you should and stop the additional charge.
