    Fried Brussels

Food wise. I would stick to common appetizers and burgers. I wouldn't order the rice bowl. I ordered the Mediterranean rice bowl and the rice and quinoa were overcooked and mushy with no flavor. The meat was overcooked. The entire bowl lacked real flavor so that was $29 wasted. The service was great. Our bartender cecil was great, had great personality and was attentive. Josh order cheese curds and chicken wings and those were good. I ordered a side of fried Brussel sprouts, ive never ordered a side dish that came bigger than my entree . The ambience is absolutely amazing. Right by the water. The view was absolutely beautiful. It has dog friendly outdoor seating and I really enjoyed they had a doggie menu section.

This place is great! Food is great! Service is awesome... how did this place get that low??? This place rocks!!!

Quick wait time to be seated. We sat on the patio and got a great view by the water. I enjoyed my meal and it came out quickly. I didn't really like their drink options but you can't go wrong with a margarita which was nice.

If you're looking for a nice, casual, atmospheric outdoor hangout along the river...this place might just be for you. Come by and check it out for yourself. Had the the Cali burger with Impossible substitute and smoked Gouda cheese. Was delicious. Note: Husband disappointed in craft beer selection, here and in the walkable area around it. Service was helpful and friendly.

The food was good. People are friendly. The problem I have is I have a Mn disability tag. I was cited 65.00 fine for parking in the handicap spot with a disabled tag. The freighthouse claims they do not own the lot. The truth is they own the building and the lot. I will post a picture proving their ownership. I disputed and it was dropped to 18 and some change. Plus a Minnesota tax which puts it over 19 dollars. The man on the phone said it's a 19 dollar an hour charge. So you pay hourly to park on top of what your charged to eat.

This is the best patio in Stillwater. The patio has several configurations of tables with mixed sun and shade. We went on a Friday and they had live music. The service was fine. Be patient on a nice day because the sections for the servers seemed big. The slushie was good and not too strong. They have an extensive menu.

Love coming here on the off season and when it's crazy busy on the patio. Tonight we stopped by for a quick dinner. I ordered the Street Tacos with Shrimp. My husband had the Fish ( Walleye BTW!) and Chips which he upgraded to the truffle fires with parmesan. I enjoyed my tacos then shared a few fries. Then a few more. Then a few more...then asked for a side of my own. Believe me. You NEED these I'm your life! I thought you should know... Now to wait for their seasonal artichoke dip to return #swoon

They also have seating outside when it's a nice day. Food trucks frequent there. They have frozen pizza that the bar crew can heat up for those wanting that option. They have a ton of games to play. We indulged in rock em sock em robots game and uno. They have video games on your way to the restroom and they are all FREE to play! Their selection includes beer, dirty sodas, their own specialty sodas, wellness tonics (thc), hard seltzers, slushies, etc. Lots of options. The crew are friendly as well. They also have a fridge for to go beverages only. Lots of great merchandise too! Check them out! Also they hosted my hubby's high school reunion about 2 years ago. They host events and groups too!

I liked how thoughtful Next Stop is of their acts; there are about three guitar stands attached to the wall behind where the musicians set up. I sat @ the table just inside the door. As most bars nearly all tables are hi-top, there was one standard height table w six or eight chairs near the middle of the bar. I felt this was the Townie Bar....full w a bunch of chill, kind folk. I didn't take a picture but there was a laminated sign on my table: For food and drink service please see the bartender. I was pleasantly surprised when everyone stepped out during the music break when the lovely bartender passed by, she stopped to ask if I needed anything? Very kind, as I can read and I knew the request. The bar was pretty full but not squished in like sardines full, nor loud. They have a parking lot, not a lot of spaces, so you just park along the edge/grass of the lot and all is peachy. I enjoyed that a couple few of the regulars ended up moving to the table next to me and danced for a lot of the gig! They were kind and lively ladies! The music was great, the environment comfortable and welcoming, the people friendly and attentive and friendly service; I definitely don't see this being my last visit. I didn't see anything on their social media or website and didn't ask yesterday to find out what's with the fireman theme? I really like it... look up, helmets make some of the light fixtures and there are figurine type things on the higher bar shelves. Next Stop Bar thanks for a fun and memorable inaugural visit, you've definitely made a fan and hopefully a repeat customer out of me, cheers!

This place has a really down to earth vibe, the waitress is quite nice and there's good music. I would argue you're better off taking the extra 5 minute drive into Wisconsin because they have a delightful menu, my proof is the PB Bacon Cheeseburger (yes, as in Peanut Butter, it's fantastic)!

It wasn't all that busy, roughly three staff members in and out behind the bar inclusive of an employee who was working on a sangria mix? Pre made cocktail mix? Not sure but he was putting something together the majority of the time I was in. I digress. It wasn't just myself and guest who experienced the slow service, there was another group at the end of the bar that had to ask multiple times for their tab to multiple employees. On to the food: -I went with the Royale Smash Burger, which was quite tasty and honestly, the seasoning of the burger and the cheese stood so strong on their own I wish I didn't have the tomato and pickles in hindsight. Really great burger! -the side fries were solid and seasoned perfectly! -the onion rings we split was surprisingly the opposite. No real taste to the batter, came out not super hot, and really soggy. The exact opposite of the side fries and honestly, wish we'd skipped on them. Overall, the service kind of killed the experience, the burger was solid, and I'd skip the onion rings. There's some decent spots in Stillwater and this place always seems super busy this was the first chance I had to stop in and... not sure with the other options I'd jump to go back. Perhaps it was just an off service/off afternoon?
