This is a beautiful store and is kept impeccably clean. Like I don't think I've ever seen such clean floors in a grocery store. Not to mention that all of the items are perfectly aligned. Almost a little scary lol, but very aesthetically pleasing! Stopped in to grab some quick items for lunch the next day and since it was the first time in, we decided to walk around and get a good feel of the store. The desserts counter is absolutely beautiful. We got their 3 for $12 option and my favorite had to be the cannoli tart. Love to see that they make so many things in house and I will definitely be back. I finally got to venture to this new grocery store establishment in Wethersfield, CT that resembles a lot like a Whole Foods. I landed this deal as it was Saturday when I went in. I receive their ads as I signed up when the store opened online. I've been hearing about the Saturday & Sunday $5 off Big Meal. Well let me tell you I got all of this for a total of $20. It's the greatest deal going out there. I was told by the workers there that every Wednesday they change up their specials and then by the weekend they offer $5 off (Sat & Sun). You choice a protein -either chicken or shrimp, a Rao's pasta, sauce (pesto, Alfredo or creamy vodka which I choose, - vegetable (green beans to steam) and a make it yourself cannoli for dessert. I definitely walk in on the perfect night and 1/2 hour before they closed at 9 pm. Give it a try as you won't be disappointed. Can't wait to make my dinner special and all of it looks so fresh. read more

So glad that that there is finally a fresh market in the area. After driving by so many times, I finally had a chance to stop by to pick up a few items and grab lunch to go. The market was very clean with nice large aisles that were fully stocked. There was also a variety of hot food and cold food to go items available in store- from pizza, hot panninis, cold sandwiches and fresh made sushi. All of the employees I encountered were very friendly and helpful. Even though I came during lunch hour and the store was busy the wait time for my food was quick and wait time to check out was pretty efficient. Definitely, will be a repeat customer. read more

Visited the new The Fresh Market in Wethersfield. I have visited the Avon location in the past and was so happy to hear there is a location in the area. The market was bustling with patrons, the store was full of employees who seemed happy to help. It was clean, well lit and full of fresh produce, meats, beer, bakery items and more. Not a great experience this time. They took the breakfast items away. Took a long time to order my panini because the guy behind the counter kept talking. The chips and soda that came with the panini I had to fetch myself around the store and there was only one cashier. Way to laid-back atmosphere. The to go dinner special was good. read more

I stopped in on my way to work for a delicious cuppa coffee. I am impressed with this new store. I work five minutes away, so the store is convenient for quick shopping . I have tried a few meal deals and loved them. My coworkers little by little are stopping in here also. read more

This grocery store is located in the former bed Bath and beyond at the Wethersfield shopping plaza on Silas Dean Highway. It had a lot of nice fresh fruits and vegetables., Variety of cheeses, and different grocery items. I came here for the prepared foods. The prices are really decent and cheaper than Whole Foods. And they have deals on certain days for discounted pizza and sushi. You can buy some prepared foods and microwave them in their little café seating area. I bought some sushi and hung out in the café. They have a whole bunch of Dubai chocolate! There was a cool cereal and nut, dispense your own bar. I will have to try that when I come back next time for cheap pizza! They also have cheap breakfast sandwiches made to order. All this makes it worth coming back. read more

First things first, the store is bright and clean, great people work there. I've been there about a half dozen times, looking for fruits, veggies, bakery and meats. Each time, I didn't find what I was looking for. Granted it's a fresh market, but I needed a cake mix, plain vanilla cake mix. Couldn't find it, maybe I missed it. Second time I went to try some bakery items, like the little cinnamon twists (one of my favorite things in the world), eh, I wasn't impressed. Did I just happen to pick up an old package? I don't think so. Maybe it was an acquired taste? I got some blueberry scones another time. Well, I think the entire scone had 2.5 blueberries in it. It's too bad, the scone would have been pretty good if there were blueberries in it because the texture was good, but too dry without the berries. The cranberry scones were OK, more fruit but pretty dry. I did try the lemon cake, dry, still nothing to write home about. Oh well. Overall the look of the place was nice but the success rate of my grocery needs was minimal. read more

I purchased 3 pizzas tonight from The Fresh Market and when I started eating them they were not very good. The pizzas were paper thin and the sauce was awful. Plus I don't think they were baked long enough because they tasted awful. Also when I checked out the cashier was not very helpful.
