My usual location of the Fresh Market is their location on Mills Road, but I was over this way today and stopped in and checked out this particular location. I have to say that I was pretty impressed. This particular location of the Fresh Market is bright and airy and definitely resembles the upscale market that it is. The staff here were friendly, engaging, and professional I know that a lot of people avoid the Fresh Market because they dismiss it as overpriced. While some items definitely carry a higher price tag, they also have some very competitive prices, especially when you consider that the quality here is definitely there. One great example is if you are a member, on Tuesdays, the Fresh Market has their boneless chicken breasts and 80% ground chuck for $2.99 a pound. Both are great quality and that is a pretty solid price. I would definitely recommend this particular location of the Fresh Market and I give it five stars overall.

This market is great! It's super clean and has some great healthy products. I usually come here to buy a ginger drink but it has so many fresh products. The prices are a bit high but that's expected with any health food store. They really blew me away with their sushi and baked goods. Everything I have got from here has been fresh and they have all your well know healthy brands available.

Went for the first time today. I've always wanted to stop by but its not near my house at all. Didn't know what to expect. Wow am I blown away. What's sorely lacking at other grocery stores is all the fresh sections. The butcher case is huge with all the cuts you want. Choice and prime cuts. And grass fed as well. And the prices for quality meats? Pretty good! If you want top quality meat that won't break the bank, this is it. The seafood case was equally amazing. I don't understand why that other place...you know...has such a terrible and small seafood case. This one was huge. And I am going to buy those crab cakes next time. They looked amazing. The bakery case was stunning. Look at that picture! I'm not a sweets person but it was tempting. Tons of fresh baked bread. Looking forward to some sandwiches next week on real rolls. The olive bar was huge. Very impressive. But what really blew me away was all the prepared foods. Sometimes I don't want to cook and I want real tasty food. This place has everything. From salads to sandwiches to chicken cutlets to meatloafs to take and bake pizzas to sausage and peppers to... man I really wish this places was around the corner! Well, I definitely will be back especially for meats and seafood. And then I'll grab a few other things along the way. Hey Fresh! Come to Waterford Lakes now! There's an empty Luckys just waiting for you!

I love that this fresh market is near me. It offers unique items and it's so easy to get in and out. It comes in handy on my way home after post workouts. I can just grab and go with a quick dinner and/or lunch and not worry about to much traffic or crowds. Today I went in to grab my organic girl spring mix which was on sale for $5.99. I had to stop by the hot food selection of course and picked up this oh so juicy lemon roasted herb chicken that came right out of the oven hot and fresh. I asked how long the last 2 chickens at the window had been sitting since it was late and the worker at the counter said I have some coming out of the oven in 5mins. Fresh food is the best. I also picked up a lil side of their yummy Mac and cheese that had also just been made and the other worker let me sample it beforehand which was nice. It's very motivating to have this market to eat better/healthier and nice lil luxury if you ask me. Yes the prices for some things are on the higher end but you are paying for quality as well as you can still find some deals and sales too. For all those good reasons I say it deserves a well mention.

I love the fresh market. The pricing on some things can be a bit high, but if you look for the deals and stay with them, you will find some very good tasting, high quality products for cheaper than normal. I absolutely love the $20 meal for four! Right now is gourmet burgers! You can't ever go wrong with burgers!!!

The one to the right is definitely the best.

I found this place and Yelp and decided to give it a try. To my surprise it is extremely close to my house. I was very impressed with this place! They have such a great selection. My husband bought a mango coconut dressing which he is crazy about. The produce was a bit pricier than other places but it all looked extremely fresh. They also have such a great meat and seafood selection. They even sell prepared food that looks delicious. Can't wait to try it! They even have a section of different kinds of crispy cookies and a great selection on bakery items. Sweets and baked goods, oh gosh my kryptonite! They also sell nuts and candy among other things in bulk. Great selection in their bulk area. I was able to find some looking coconut waters. I usually drink Harmless Harvest coconut water but decided to try 2 different ones. The one in the glass container was not as good but the other one tasted as amazing as the Harmless Harvest. The place is not super big and the selection is not as extensive as it's competitors but they have a large amount of great things and their prices are definitely lower. The store is extrenely organized and the staff is super polite. I will definitely be back.

Incredibly disappointed in the TLB. I've been a fan for a long time, especially their dry aged…read moremeats, and am more than willing to pay for this type of product. Today, though, I noticed them selling Japanese Wagyu as: Sake Infused Dry Aged A9 Kobe Strip. This is a very scammy way of selling a product. First, meat is graded broadly on three scales - USDA (choice, prime), BMS (beef marbling scale - common in Aus), and the Japanese grading scale. (A1-A5, with most high end steaks being A4 or the gold standard, A5). https://meatnbone.com/blogs/the-clever-cleaver/meat-beef-grading-system-understanding A9 doesn't exist. A BMS 9 could be an A5. But this is mislabeled. They have also used the term A11 in their instagram account. Maybe they are confusing BMS for A-scale, or maybe they are intentionally trying to make their product seem better than competitors. Furthermore, not all Japanese Wagyu is Kobe beef. Kobe beef refers to Tajima cattle raised in Hyogo Japan. The export of this beef is highly regulated to only certain restaurants and purveyors, who will display a seal and certificate certifying the origin of the beef. It is rare, expensive, and most importantly, Bush Brothers (Local Butcher's wholesale purveyor) is not certified to sell, nor do they use in any way, the term Kobe Beef. So it is incredibly likely that this product is mislabeled. This isn't illegal (Kobe beef doesn't have a TM in the US), but it is disingenuous. https://www.kobe-niku.jp/en/contents/certification/index.html https://instagram.com/bushbros Next, "sake infused"is incredibly confusing. Is it referring to the myth that Kobe cattle are massaged with sake? Is it referred to the use of koji (fermented cooked rice) which is often used as an aging accelerant? Or did they really take Japanese Wagyu and infuse (inject, soak?) with sake? And why on earth would you do that!? It would be like making sangria with a bottle of DRC. This product is likely a A5 strip loin (which Bush Bros. does carry) that has been aged. Market price would be somewhere around $175-185/lb. (An unaged cut would be around $150/lb.) When I asked for more information on the most expensive cut of meat in their shop, I was treated with disdain and a dismissive attitude. Neither member of the staff could answer my questions other than to say "It's the highest grade of Kobe beef." To charge $215 dollars for a grade that doesn't exist, for a steak that isn't from Kobe, with an aging method that seems dubious at best, is disingenuous and plays on a lack of consumer knowledge. If The Local Butcher themselves don't know the differences here, they shouldn't sell this product. If they do, they should be ashamed of themselves.

If we lived closer, we would buy a lot of items here more frequently. The first time my wife and I stopped in, we ended up talking to one of the employees, who was so nice, gave us his recommendations, and even offered us a sample of the Cavallari Chicken Salad. Immediately sold! It was so good, we turned around and ordered the large tub. Their chicken salad is one of the best I have ever had. It is full of chicken, celery and onion. The other item my wife always has to pick up are their Italian cookies. They are from a local baker, and are so delicious. Look for them near the register. Overall I would highly recommend checking them out. We will visit every time we are in the area, but I would suggest trying them out. Get the chicken salad! Don't skip on it! ACES!

Yeah yeah. However, there's still no excuse for rude service. I walk in and go straight to the deli. If you know this place: You walk in, turn right and there is an aisle with coolers on either side. This leads to the back deli. It is cramped, but not terrible. A couple was in front of me. I could tell by the demeanor of the gentleman that they had been there a while already and the woman was asking multiple questions of the staff. No big deal. A little annoying, but some people are just talkative. This goes on, an estimate of say five minutes. Five minutes of a woman asking questions of the male staff member as the young woman staff member chimed in with information or an answer. At no point during this time did either of them acknowledge that someone was waiting or anything. No eye contact. Nothing. Finally the couple is done. The young woman behind the counter asks what I want. I order. In the middle of her slicing one of the deli meats, another customer comes up and asks for a pound of the meat she was currently slicing. Customer service will tell you to take care of customers in the order of arrival. Not according to this place. No, she decided to skip over me and service someone else. I understand that it was probably easier that way - given you might have to clean up between meats, or whatever else. And that's fine - IF YOU COMMUNICATE with the customer. The lady ordering the meat apologized. For reasons? It wasn't her fault. I appreciate it, but unnecessary. Finally after waiting for a longer time, the young woman behind the counter apologized for the delay. There never should have been a delay. Plus the sandwich was lackluster. I try to avoid big chains. I like small businesses. But when you treat people like this; why should I return?

This mall does feel like a backroom, or liminal space. They are as advertised, a local Italian market, deli, and bakery. The trifecta, if you will. It's got a huge parking space area and located next to a gym. They offer a lot of Italian goods from cheese to meats to pistachio spread to snacks. The meat counter offers hot sandwiches and they even have a sandwich of the week. They have a bakery counter and to no one's surprise, many items will be sold out if you go at the end of the day. This was disappointing for me as I really wanted to try their pistachio sfogliatelle. So we got two huge sandwiches, which they cut in half for you, and some baked goods and coffee. They have a coffee counter and the lattes are good. We tried the sandwich of the week, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with caramelized onions, fig jam, and provolone. This was a 8.5/10. It was good, rich, and fatty. Not a light meal sandwich. Definitely had half of it and felt very full. We also got the Soprano, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with pesto, tomatoes, prosciutto, arugula, and fresh shaved parmesan. This was a 9/10. Lighter on the body than the other sandwich, but it was still filling and I can only have one half at a time. The sandwiches came out to about $30 for both, but that's almost four meals right there for that price. For the baked goods, we tried the Nutella sfogliatelle, pistachio creampuff, and a pistachio cannoli. A sfogliatelle is a laminated pastry that looks like a lobster tail. This was delicious and crispy and sweet. I wish I could have tried the pistachio one. This was a 8.5/10. The pistachio creampuff surprised me. This was a 8.5/10. I thought it was going to be too sweet, but it was good. Pistachio flavor could have been stronger. The pistachio cannoli was a 10/10. This was insanely good and perfect and I should have bought five of them. We tried the cookie butter latte from the cafe. This was a 9/10. The cookie butter was well mixed with the espresso and the espresso was strong and high quality. Overall, this place was a 9.5/10 and I will be back. I mean those prices and that quality moves it from the "let me try" list to the "let me be a regular" list.

Saw an ad for D'Amico & Sons and decided it was worth the drive over to the Oviedo Mall for lunch…read more I'm glad I made the trip. The market occupies a storefront outside the mall with plenty of convenient parking nearby. Once inside, I was impressed by how spacious it is. There's a bakery, deli, gelato case, and an impressive selection of prepared foods including lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, Alfredo, and other Italian favorites. Shelves are also stocked with imported pastas, sauces, olive oils, and other specialty items, making it just as much an Italian market as a lunch destination. I arrived around noon and found a short line at the deli counter. Even during the lunch rush, I had my order placed and was waiting in the pickup area within about five minutes. Now for my own self-inflicted mistake. I walked in fully intending to order the Sinatra with mortadella, but somehow had a complete brain freeze and ordered the Sparano instead. I didn't realize my error until I unwrapped the sandwich at one of the outdoor tables. Oh well...it looked too good not to dive in. The Sparano is built on a beautiful artisan roll with basil pesto, a cold chicken cutlet, Prosciutto di Parma, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, arugula, and a balsamic drizzle. Flavor wise, it was excellent. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. My only criticism was the overall texture. The sandwich ate a little dry for my taste, and I think it could benefit from a touch more moisture, perhaps a little extra balsamic, olive oil, or another spread to better complement the hearty bread. The roll itself was exactly the type of rustic Italian bread I normally love, with a chewy interior and beautifully crisp crust. Combined with the generous size of the sandwich, however, it became a bit of a challenge to take a proper bite. By the end, the roof of my mouth had definitely lost the battle with that crust. Even so, the quality of the ingredients and the generous portion made it an excellent value. Next time I'll actually order the sandwich I intended, the Sinatra and if it's as good as it looks, I have a feeling I'll be making this trip more often.
