A lot of options & flavors.

Snowballs are good, but they make you wait for nooooooo reason at all. The guy in front of me asked, "y'all still taking orders?" We initially figured they were trying to get the line down, but we still had to wait when there were only three people at the stand (the guy who was getting his snowballs made, the guy in front me, & me).

When I tell you I'm picky about a snoball and I'm a Texan lol but this place was on point! I went all the way to westwego when I was visiting last month when this was literally around the corner and passed this truck right on by but never again! They were super soft the most soft snoball I've had since the first one that changed my life from a stand in Houma in 2005

Nice snowball place just past Gretna across from Helen Cox high school

This unassuming spot in a strip mall was gorgeous inside. And it serves coffee, pastries, ice cream plus y'know candy. AND they roast their own nuts, spices and I guess coffee beans. There were definitely folks hanging out and enjoying a Turkish style coffee... I guess either the caffeine doesn't hit them the way it does me or they had no plans to sleep. The candy isn't labeled 100% correctly but you kind of know that gummy worms are not gummy strawberries. I tried an assortment bag of gummies and some of chocolates and the price was by the pound. Re got some freshly roasted unsalted cashews and they were delicious! Parking is easy in the strip mall lot. And as you step in you definitely leave Louisiana and step into another country.

They also carry some gummy and chocolate varieties, some spices, some boxed coffee, some Middle Eastern pastries. Only some things were labeled with either what it was or the price of it, so that was a little disorienting. I was surprised to find a cafe and gelato bar inside. The gelato flavors were incredible. I settled on popcorn caramel and baklava in a waffle bowl. An employee said that everything was made in-house. The price was standard considering that all was made there. The service was weird. I kept getting served after people who'd gotten there after me. My ice cream scoops were significantly smaller than my boyfriend's. Returning isn't high on my list of priorities, but I'm glad I tried them.

We went in pretty late (around 8pm) and were pretty disappointed. Half of the flavors that we were excited to get (Cheesecake, strawberry, cookies and cream, tart, etc) were all slightly runny :/. Some toppings were clumpy, so we couldn't add it properly in our bowl. The bathroom is disgusting, where water was running from under the toilet, causing the floor to be wet. The service was okay - we did want to try to sample some flavors but there was only 1 employee and she was busy at the cashier. The toppings are slightly flavorless.

Line for toppings was slow going but that's to be expected when you have kids making decisions. I went for a little squeeze of this yogurt and that yogurt. I ended up with coconut, pineapple, banana, mango and pomegranate. No toppings. I love that the price is by weight, because that felt fair. I think mine was around $6. The cashier was rocking it by herself, getting everyone through without looking stressed. The store itself needed to be cleaned: tables were dirty, the toppings were everywhere and the yogurt catch trays needed cleaning - even the garbage outside needed to be dumped and the outside tables had trash around them. I went because my cousin wanted to go, but I didn't feel comfortable with the sanitation. I'll try it again sometime during a weekday to see if it's any better.

We found Lucy Boone online, and hopped over since the reviews and photos looked good. Well, don't believe everything that you see online! The ice cream here really isn't very good, and our main complaint about it is that it's just not creamy. It has more of the consistency of a watery/diluted supermarket brand, and the flavors themselves aren't impressive either. Not trying to be mean--just being honest! Two of us shared their sampler, and we do have to say that we appreciated that as an option! The king cake was pure cinnamon, but the peanut butter nuddy buddy was really good--we'd say that was the best one of them all. The salted butter caramel was ho hum and the fourth flavor was so ho hum that we can't even remember what it was. Maybe nutella brownie?? Our daughter had the caramel in a cone and she said it was very small :( Oh, almost forgot to mention that on a holiday weekend, they had ONE person working, who was very sweet and clearly trying to do all the things. Needless to say, the place was pretty dirty and the (fake) marble tables weren't clean. The space is also kind of small and it doesn't seem like they've made the best use of it. While this place may look and advertise itself like an upscale hipster ice cream, it just does not deliver. We personally wouldn't recommend Lucy Boone, but it's not like you'll have a "bad" experience. It's just not worth it.

The guy taking our order was literally trolling us the entire time we were trying to order. When we tried to order specific flavors, they were out of almost everything! And each time that he mentioned "they were out of Oreos, Reese's, etc" , you could hear him laughing and joking with his coworkers through the speaker! It's super obvious that they didn't care about their jobs. We eventually ordered something that they weren't "out of". Never been to a DQ that was 98% out of everything. I'm more disappointed in their service. It is what it is. 1 big star for their huge lack of professionalism.

Outstanding Service from Jake!…read more We placed an online pickup order today for our family of six, and were blown away by the incredible service we received. When we arrived, Jake (not from State Farm!) greeted us with a warm, funny, and friendly attitude that instantly made us feel welcome. Our food had just been packed up and Jake reassured us that our timing was perfect--it was hot, fresh, and ready to go. We had ordered several different sauce flavors, and he took the time to confirm that everything was included. When he noticed the BBQ sauce was unavailable, he didn't just apologize--he made sure to pack some in to-go cups so we wouldn't miss out. That kind of attention to detail and care is rare. Jake's exceptional demeanor made this pickup experience truly memorable. We're visiting from California, and this was our last quick bite before heading to the airport. Thanks to Jake, we're leaving with full stomachs and a lasting positive impression. We've already told our family out here about the amazing service, and we'll definitely be back on our next visit!
