I love this place. There are 20+ sweet kitties that are friendly, chonky, and sleepy. The cat lounge area cost $9 per person to enter and you can stay for as long as they are open. Each cat is friendly, loves pets, and is very friendly. The open sound bar outside offers amenities like coffee, alcohol and water too. The servers are nice, friendly and knowledgeable! 10/10 place, would definitely come back whenever I get the chance to.

A happy cat resting an a couch.

What an interesting & relaxing evening we had here! All of the cats are so well-cared for here. The staff was very friendly & it was lovely to see how much they loved all of the kitties! Cool alternative to your usual "bar"!

Calling all my cat lovers! Underground ATL has a new Cat Lounge and you are gonna wanna check it out! It has 25 resident cats (one is a Sphynx!). The entry fee is only $9 per person & there is no time limit to your stay. You don't even need reservations! Alcoholic & Non-alcoholic drinks are available for purchase while you lounge with the cats. They have Klipsch Speakers that play underground & alternative music and it is so relaxing and fun to listen to. Street & Garage parking are nearby, so it is not a far walk. They are open late (after midnight!) on Thursday-Sunday Be sure to check this place out!

A rather large and cozy Tuxedo cat!

Easily one of the most laid back and relaxing atmospheres I've encountered! The picture alone speaks for itself. Plenty of room for both people and paws alike! For only $10, you get unlimited time and re-entry until they close, even until late night hours. Certainly a gem here in Atlanta that's worth supporting!

If you love cats, you'll love this place!!!! It's a vibey, music lounge with over 20 therapy cats for you to pet! The cat lounge is a bit on the small side, but that means you get more cozy moments with the kitties! Admission is only $10 and no purchase of drink/food required to enter. They do only offer canned drinks, which I think is understandable since we don't want the kitties knocking over any drinks with no lids! All the kitties seem to be well-fed and friendly!

Wonderful place to spend some time with some sweet kitties! The owner was very knowledgeable and kind and the ambiance was very groovy. My son and I had a fabulous time loving on the 24 kitties there. We will definitely be back!

such a cool place! i'm excited for them to fully open and be full service, but even now it was a great experience. we stayed for about an hour! so many cats running around and they played relaxing music over their nice sound system. definitely recommend

This is the man who put his hands on me inappropriately as I was leaving this establishment. This only happened after we asked for his name.

This place is a scam, you pay 20 dollars to get in an area with no seating and bad music. Then you have to pay 9 more dollars just to get to the place they advertised. They don't tell you at the front that you have to pay more to see what they have actually advertised and their customer service is awful. Every review says it's only 9 dollars to enter but that is a lie.

The cats are great. They enjoy visiting and playing around the customers. The space was relaxing as well.

Loved the cats, the staff, the ambience and even the prices! Perfect idea to kill time waiting on the concerts at The Masquerade to start!

THE LOCATION is west midtown, parking was either valet or find a space on the street... we ended up on some side street, but it was fine. THE CROWD was kinda awesome. Very diverse and traditionally artsy folks... with some hipsters and regulars mixed in. It was a little too crowded though, they had a cash bar with beer only. Beer? Beer? Really though... a little Trader Joe's wine would have went a long way. THE ART was cool. One artist created prints using the word "word". Another merged body parts in symmetry creating a landscape via ink/pen. These seem to be those independent do what I want, I think this would be cool art school kinda artist if that makes any sense. You know the kids who dye there hair blue or pink or purple... thats this crowd. Prices for art was in the $3000 range on average for the bigger works. I may have saw a few pieces that were a couple hundred (lets say $300ish range) Overall, good vibes, cool art, interesting people, huge crowd, nice space... I'll probably always give art galleries no less than a 4 even if I wanted to.

I've spent some time here, at shows, and hanging out. What a gem. Yu-Kai and his staff, have begun to spin a web that may actually foster an art community in Atlanta. That would be a first since the demise of ACA. Stop in some time. Take in what's on the walls. Talk to the staff. Ask for a cup of coffee. These people are intelligent, and nice. An amazingly refreshing venue in our often disconnected city!

My friend and I went on a free Sunday and even ran into some other friends while we were there. We got to watch a youth dance performance featuring all different styles--from kids dancing in suits to a Mary Poppins-themed routine it was so incredibly cute! The art itself really spoke to me. I got to see cultural pieces from my home country that I rarely ever see elsewhere, and it honestly brought tears to my eyes. They were also highlighting a Black woman's art that day; hearing her story and seeing the way she painted up until her passing, alongside works from other Black artists, was profoundly beautiful. This was my second time visiting the High, and I absolutely hope to go more often whenever I have the time!

I especially enjoyed the mix of contemporary and classic works, and the building itself is beautiful with plenty of natural light. We visited on a weekend afternoon and found it busy but still comfortable to navigate. There were plenty of benches throughout for taking a break and really appreciating the artwork. I'd recommend this for a date, solo afternoon, or when you have visitors in town. My biggest tip would be to check the special exhibitions before your visit since they can be a major highlight. Definitely one of Atlanta's gems.
