I've also had PB bookmarked for quite sometime...so I blame my eagerness for the failed group runway photos. Lol I placed my order at 5 AM for an 8:15/8:30 AM pickup, and they still managed to pack everything like they were preparing it for royalty. Let mama break it down for you! Berry Tart: This tart walked in looking like it pays rent. Gorgeous, glossy, and so pretty I almost apologized before cutting into it. Clients loved it. My kids loved it. Strawberry Soft Cream Cake Slice: My 2‑year‑old (CEO of Strawberry Obsessed Galore) approved immediately. Every layer had actual thick strawberry pieces, not those sad little bits that makes you wonder if there were even strawberries in here or just mushed up pieces... Sweet, creamy, NOT overly weak and a total show‑off. We devoured it. Fruit Pastry & Raspberry Fruit Bite: Flaky pastry + custard + fruit = the holy trinity. These two didn't miss. They understood the assignment and executed flawlessly. Curry & Crab Croquette: I'm team CRAB croquette. It was loaded, crispy, and basically winked at me. My colleague, however, acted like the curry croquette was a spiritual experience. Pretty sure his eyes rolled to the back of his head..HAH. Both are winners! Pepperoni Pizzetta: My 4‑year‑old took one bite and immediately rejected Papa John's. That's the entire review. Case closed. Iced Sweet Green Tea: This one... was not it. It tasted like coffee that borrowed someone else's filter. We'll just leave it at that. Now, let's talk service: They open at 7 AM, and somehow had my entire order made, warmed, packed, organized, and ready in just over an hour..while other customers were inside, AND they helped me load everything into my car. My short notice didn't even make them blink.

I've been wanting to visit Château Élan Winery & Resort for a few years now, so I was really…read moreexcited when my husband surprised me with a two-night stay. The night before our trip, I made the mistake of reading reviews and started to feel a little skeptical, but by then, it was too late to cancel. I'm actually glad it was, because our experience turned out to be a great one. When we arrived, the grounds were absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. At check-in, we were told the last wine tour started at 5:00 p.m., and it was already 4:45. I asked if we could go the next day (Monday), and the front desk agent assured us we could, saying they were open daily from 12-6. After settling into our room, we headed to Louis' House of Bourbon. The food was decent, but the drinks were excellent. The atmosphere alone made it worth the visit. The next day, however, we found out that the wine tours and tastings were actually closed on Mondays, which was disappointing given the information we were told at check-in. Still, we didn't let that ruin our trip. We went out to a nearby steakhouse for dinner and returned to the resort for drinks at what had quickly become our favorite spot, Louis'. I have to give a special shoutout to the staff, Manny, Anya, and Cole were amazing. They were attentive, friendly, and really elevated our experience. Overall, we had a great stay and are already looking forward to coming back, especially in the summer to enjoy the pool and hot tub!

Please! If you are considering celebrating a special occasion here, do yourself a favor and take…read moreyour money somewhere else. I do not write google reviews often. I am writing this one to protect you! This is a declining resort, pretending to offer a luxury, high-end resort experience. There is absolutely no importance placed on customer service. The facilities and grounds are underwhelming for the price. It was not clean. And they do not value their guests. I spent so much money to stay a weekend with my fiancée to celebrate our engagement. We were incredibly excited. Coming home, I felt like I had been tricked out of my money. Our room was not ready when we arrived at check-in time. They scrambled to get the champagne and roses ready, ruining the surprise for my fiancée. The spa was consistently unclean: dirty towels left on furniture, stepping over empty glasses and cups everywhere, and the men's locker room looked like no one had attended it all day. Good luck getting in touch with any of the staff. They are understaffed and disorganized. Whether it was the spa desk, a restaurant, room service, management... we were constantly playing phone games, reaching voicemail, and never getting a call back. The massages were a horrible value. They were very expensive, yet mediocre, and my massage therapist talked during most of it about himself. It was not a relaxing experience. Every place we ate at the resort was overpriced and also mediocre. During our second day, my fiancée had stomach issues due to the food we had eaten. So we were unable to attend our wine tour. When I explained this to management, and tried to get a refund for the tour (or at least a credit), we had to again play many phone games before being told nothing would be done. The lack of customer service, especially for the level of service we were expecting and paying for at a "luxury" resort, is truly the most disappointing aspect of Chateau Elan. Please!! Do not make the same mistake we did, do not waste your money! Personally, I wish i'd stayed at the Hampton.
