Had an amazing experience here. Although this place was a bit far away for me I found it to be well worth my time. Stopped by after a personal recommendation and was pleasantly impressed by the courteous, friendly and professional service and quality. They have a very beautiful curated selection at their store. I ended up ordering from a catalog without even seeing the product first, but rather choosing from swatches for fabric. We were shopping for a couch and this was a very hard task until we stopped at The Furniture Store. It's a family owned business and everyone we interacted with was very invested in the best outcome of our experience. Once we ordered the couch, they delivered promptly for a small delivery fee and we got a matching ottoman too. We are so happy because it ended up being the most comfortable couch we could have hoped for. Also the fabric is made of fantastic quality, especially because we have kids and a dog. We were looking to purchase hardwood flooring for our den, with hopes of matching our existing hardwood in our dining room and hallway that were installed 10 years ago by another local store now out of business. Dan, the owner, personally came out and measured, and advised us on a color to closely match, as the existing floor color is no longer made by the mfr. He quoted good price compared to the big box store (who never came out to measure, etc). We set up the install date and time - the flooring was delivered a week in advance to acclimate to our home's humidity. Installers (3) arrived at 8am sharp and were very professional and well organized. About halfway through the install, Dan showed up to check on the progress and to see if we had any concerns. The job took about 4 hours start to finish and the floor looks beautiful. We will definitely consider Dan and The Furniture store for our next flooring purchase. read more

My husband and I purchased carpet for our new home in December. Everything about the purchase was wonderful. The sales staff was very helpful even let us take samples home so we could talk over colors and match with paint samples. The install took 3 days to install and the installers were very friendly. We purchased a new house in Hartland in July. We needed new flooring (carpet) in the living room and hallway and decided to take the Realtors recommendation and use The Furniture Store. We always try to support local business. They were more expensive than the big box stores (installation is not free), but we though we would get a better install and service. We were wrong. We had major problems with seams in our carpet. We had to have them come out several times to fix attempt to fix the problem and even now you still can see them. In our living room we have to hide the seam with furniture. They offered to have us replace the living room carpet but would not give a refund. read more

My husband and I recently purchased our very first home. It was a total fixer upper and complete construction zone. We chose The Furniture Store to install new carpet for our soon-to-arrive baby girl's room and our up stairs landing. The Furniture Store catered to us by agreeing to install in two days to fit our project timelines and shuffling around. The seams between carpet sections (into the hallway and around turns) were SEAMLESS. On top of it our installer Josh was super friendly and super neat (despite the rest of our project being a total mess!) We also purchased a large quantity of hardwoods which I was happy to see were USA made. Love a business that can support our own country! We chose to install ourselves to fit budget, the furniture store exceeded any expectations you can have for advising us on how to be DIYers.
