Last minute reservations for outside table dinner at 630 thurs. The theater had a lg crowd not a parking space to be had actually we could have walked or taken the tram.. not to self forget parking at night in Stuart take the tram or be ready to sightsee! We were seated asap nice seat outside lovely server! Started with corn salad and we all had different dinners from salmon fried chicken meatloaf. All were excellent! As was the service!! We had desert a carrot cake so big we all five split it! Was delicious! Great food the best company!!! Our favorite place in Stuart! Where to go when you are sharing dinner with special people and you want good food. Reservation is a must inside was packed so was outside!

Hit The Gafford last night. A beautiful Florida evening seated outside. Perfect ambiance. We had a very pleasant attendant. We started out with a Crab Bisque that was absolutely delicious. A little twist with a bit of chile pepper gave it a unique taste. I was excited for the rest of the night. Next we had the parmesan roasted cauliflower. Cooked perfectly but it really didn't have much flavor. Disappointing. For our entrees my Wife had the Street Corn Salad and I got the Mabel's Fried Chicken. The Corn Salad was ok but didn't seem to be interesting. Same could be said about the fried chicken. Nice tender chicken breast with a nice flaky crust but really no distinguishing flavor. Green beans were perfectly cooked. Mashed potatoes were ok as was the gravy. Bottom line: after the incredible bisque, the rest of the meal, although ok, was a bit of a let-down. I will return however.

The Gafford was always on my list to try when we lived in the area, and I'm so glad we finally went when visiting Stuart earlier this year! It is such a great choice for a nice dinner downtown! My scallops were crispy and charred on the outside, sweet and tender on the inside. Don't miss out when they're on the menu! (They were either seasonal or a special).

Stopped in for our anniversary and this place did not dissappoint located right in the center of downtown with a very convenient location for shopping and activities after! Everything came out fresh and seemed very high quality. Good variety menu with all types ranging from meatloaf to fish they have you covered. The meatloaf was outstanding not dry at all and super filling and packed with flavor throughout the entire dish including the outstanding garlic mashed potatoes it was paired with. The owner even came over and asked if we need anything which was an amazing touch since most places the owner is never present which gave us the mom and pop feel we love

Overall, had some excellent food with the ahi tuna being my favorite. My filet was perfectly cooked medium rare and was served with creamy mashed potatoes and crispy green beans. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food and I've included pictures here. Will continue to return for a nice night out in Palm City.

Grade F (all facets)…read more AVOID - This place is no longer what it used to be. We've been coming since it opened and this WILL BE OUR LAST TIME. Decided to stop in for tuna stack and guacamole (that we've previously enjoyed on prior occasions). Seemed odd that on a Thursday evening at 6pm the hostess asked if we had reservations. That should have tipped us off that things were different. The bar was full and the very loud. Our server didn't know what fish was on the special for the evening. We weren't enticed, so we went with our original order. Then the disappointment set in; the tuna stack was literally have the size of the ones we've had there. The mango salsa layer wasn't salsa it was bland chopped mango. The bottom layer of guac was about an inch and the chop tuna was light pink to white (at best). Needless to say the "shareable" lasted about three bites each for two people. Regretfully, we ordered the guacamole that was also disappointing. The portion was smaller than before and lacked flavor (seasoning). A few nuggets of corn topper and no cheese (as described on the menu). That "shareable" comes with a salsa that was the coup de grâce of disappointment; it was runny and lacked any semblance of chopped vegetables. It literally tasted like spaghetti sauce and not the good type. We pulled up our Yelp review from last year and sure enough the portions are not even close in terms of size or presentation. We showed the server our pics from last year's Yelp post and she said that she's never had that order. She gave the chef our feedback. Later on she came back and said the chef acknowledged the "salsa" consistency. He offered to make a fresh batch... our plates were gone by that time and we weren't about to take that offer. The grand finale ended with the check being delivered and our server telling us "an automatic 18% service fee is added to the check"... my wife and I looked at each other with utter disgust. We wasted $47 on two awful shareables and one unsweetened tea. It's sad to see yet another restaurant go down the drain so quickly. It seems like PSC went under new management and lost their kitchen and serving staff. Uploading a new pic of the "soupy salsa" to compare with what we previously had

They have a fabulous happy hour, and I have to say the appetizers we enjoyed were fabulous! The wild shrimp and crab mac & cheese is actually priceless- rich creamy crunchy shrimp! The two of us could not finish it and also had the seared Ahi tuna- the law that comes with the tuna is a showstopper. The dish itself had to take a backseat, which is sad when the tuna should've been the star but also says a lot about that slaw. The one thing we will be back for is the oysters we did the flame combo, which was the oysters Rockefeller, and the roasted oysters and probably would've licked the shells if it had been appropriate! They were absolutely delicious! I can't forget to mention our service as it was fabulous, and I made sure to tip on the full amount not the discounted amount from happy hour as it was very well deserved ! I've been told by many of my friends that I had to try Olympic Taverna for breakfast, especially to…read moretry their grits which, all have said are the best they've ever had. Now, I must admit that I have ridden past this restaurant many times on my e-bike rides but never thought about trying a Greek restaurant for breakfast. So, this week, I finally gave in and trudged off to give the place a try. The Ambiance: Cute European style restaurant that has a cozy yet chic setting. Bar seating, inside table seating and outside patio seating are all offered. I might mention that my outside table felt sticky. Not sure if this is the type of table or a table that needed to be cleaned. Either way it was an uncomfortable experience. Couldn't slide my dishes and my arm sleeve felt like it was sticking to the table. The Service: Although my server forgot the honey I requested for my tea and instead of inputting the WiFi password in my iPad, as requested, briskly told me the WiFi password (she thought), which it wasn't, the service, other than that, was efficient and provided with a smile. (NOTE: Another server was more than happy to input the password for me without a hesitation). I might also mention that my server served my unusual tea request (which so many servers get wrong) absolutely on the money without hesitation. This may not sound like a big deal but, for me, it most assuredly is. The Food: I ordered the Big Breakfast which consisted of two eggs (I chose over easy), two sausage links, two strips of bacon, I chose a biscuit as my bread offering and those "must have grits. Along with this dish I of course ordered my, always a challenge to get, English Breakfast tea with honey and "steamed" milk. Although as mentioned above, other than the honey, my server did bring my tea WITH steamed milk! Good start! Within a few minutes, my dish arrived. Everything was just as ordered. The over easy eggs were cooked exactly as ordered and the biscuits came WITH extra butter. Unfortunately, the sausage was your little "standard" link sausage, the bacon was on the crisp side and the biscuit was good but a bit gummy. Now on to the big question,, how was those grits. I have to say, all my friends were right. Those grits were by far, the best grits I've ever had. Creamy, but not runny, needing only a dash of salt, they were so good, I took two orders of grits to go. The Bottom Line: My "Customer so what" would I come back? Although the rest of the meal was simply OK, for the grits alone, you bet I'd return.

I love Greek food, but this was the worst I've had ever in my life…read more The reviews are way too good compare to what you get. The falafel appetizer and tzatziki had no flavor at all. The chicken gyro seemed like no spices were used, i could not eat it. The greek salad was disappointing as well, with hardly any cucumber, or tomatoes. The server was kind and she also took out my dish from the bill. Overall, it didn't feel authentic at all, which was very disappointing.
