    Tasted great!

My older sister and I were in town visiting our parents for the 4th of July and decided to check out The Galley for breakfast. We had heard great things from our family and friends but wanted to make sure the hype was real. IT WAS! We both enjoyed Bacon Egg and Cheese sandwiches and iced coffee. The staff was professional, helpful and efficient. They go above and beyond to accommodate the needs of the guest. You are able to customize your meal exactly to your preferences. The dining area overlooks the harbor and is a wonderful place to enjoy a meal. You're right on the water which is a nice change of pace compared to other local breakfast and lunch spots. The restaurant has turned what used to be an empty stretch of parking lot into a vibrant social hub. I would highly recommend The Galley when visiting Norwalk. The food, atmosphere and quality of the restaurant is hard to find elsewhere in the city.

Amazing food, great quality ingredients and guests service above and beyond! ... ah, their rum punch is not to be missed.

Went on a Saturday morning and was there at 7:30. Food was awesome. I got a Pursuit, which is sausage, egg and cheese on Sourdough toast. Been there 4-5 times and never been let down.

Great food, wish they had an indoor seating for cooler days. Nice views of the harbor. Great place to take a walk also.

The Galley at Norwalk Cove Marina is such a hidden gem in Fairfield County and one of my favorite spots to go in the summer. The Galley is outdoor seating only and has amazing breakfast and lunch sandwiches with beautiful water views of the Norwalk Harbor. Everything I've had here has been excellent. I usually do the Manresa sandwich which is essentially an Italian, and it's fantastic. Highly recommend checking out The Galley!

Came on a Saturday afternoon. It is a little hidden in the parking lot by the beach. I got the Tavern and my fiancé got the Sherwood. The sandwiches were seriously unreal. It's a family business and we are looking to potentially move to the area, they were so nice and gave us tips on where to go explore. Definitely will be back next time in Norwalk to try some of the other sandwiches!

(Visited 3/11) Ambiance [4/5]: Minimalist style design, it's nice, Theres also pretty lighting and a good amount of seating with an open bar as well. Food: Trix latte w/ whole milk (seasonal): [4/5] Tastes like a bowl of cereal from a cup. Topped with whipped cream it's really delicious! Tastes like a cup of childhood. Theres a good anount of cereal in the cup alongside the ice so it feels like you get a good amount of sips before the drink is done. Other than that it's still pretty good nonetheless. Sin-A-Bun: [5/5] This is very delicious, it's a perfect mix of sweet and savory. The smokiness from the bacon surprisingly compliments the cinnamon roll buns. Good concept and executed perfectly. If there were an option i'd choose that over having it on the side. Surprisingly I didn't notice it on the side on the sandwich until I was half way through. Still delicious though. Challah french toast [5/5] Tasty and sweet. You can't go wrong with french toast. I added strawberries, blueberries, bananas, and Nutella drizzle (each topping is $3 extra). It was worth the price it was delicious. It came with a side of butter which compliments the sweetness of the toast and some syrup. I didn't use much of the syrup but it was still delicious when I did decide to use it! I wouldn't order this because for delivery because its one of those things that taste so much better fresh in front of you rather than waiting to he dropped off. Service: [5/5] Fast and efficient service! The restaurant works as a team. One man sat me, The middle eastern girl with the long sleeve black shirt took my order and checked on me, and the white boy with the arm tattoos and pen between his ear checked on me at times, and cleaned my table while the girl was busy. It's great to see everyone helping each other and not letting anyone suffer. I Loved it! Overall Cafe social, is a great restaurant to stop by if you plan on going to the mall. Not only is it a 8 minute walk but you're also given a great meal and overall greater experience. I see myself coming back here if I'm ever in norwalk looking for a quick bite!

Super surprised that it wasn't slammed. We walked right in at lunch time and were just about the only ones there. The menu is overwhelming. I feel like I'd need to eat here for like a month straight to actually try everything that I want to. My son eats like a bird so he stuck to the "basic" menu and got the cookies and cream waffle. That was breakfast, lunch and dessert all in one. They did not skip on the crushed oreos. My daughter and I needed to see some of the viral dishes for ourselves so we stuck to the Social Media section of the menu. She got the Fried Chicken Mac N Cheese burrito and I got the Smash Wrap. Neither one of us finished even half of our mains. They are huge! Bigger isn't always better but the quality was not lost in the size. They were also delicious. We both loved the mac n cheese filling. Our waitress was super sweet and when she found out we were traveling, she threw in some complimentary "famous" cinnamon sugar donuts for the ride. I forgot to get a pic of those, but they were nice and fresh, even after we waited a few hours before eating them because we just about rolled out of there after eating so much. We will have to stop back in another time to share one of the gigantic milkshakes.

Savory crepes are offered Breton style using buckwheat flour. These galettes bretonnes are light and crispy with an earthly toasted flavor, the ideal counterpoint to the fillings that accompany them such as hearty European cheeses, charcuterie, tangy pickles or spicy arugula leaves. Among them, galettes Choupette (fig, arugula, prosciutto, goat cheese), Ractiflette (potato, watercress, Raclette cheese, charcuterie) and Complète Jambon (Gruyère, organic egg, country ham) are super delish and totally worth a try. Sweet crepes, made with whole wheat flour, are the soft fluffy crepes we are more familiar with around here. Personal favorites include the Traditionnelle (butter, sugar), Hugette (pear, dark chocolate, almonds) and the Amour et jalousie (Nutella, banana, strawberry). Lots of beverage options here! The chicken was the highlight, crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and really well seasoned. You can tell it was freshly made. The cornbread was also really good, soft, warm, slightly sweet, and even better with the sorghum honey butter. The mac & cheese was great. it was rich, creamy, and felt homemade in the best way. I'm not usually a fan of cole slaw, and this one was a bit watery, I should have asked if I could swap it out. The desserts were a highlight too, the peach empanada was nice and warm, buttery, paired perfectly with the ice cream and icing, and the banana pudding was smooth, classic, and comforting with the nilla wafer crumble and fresh banana. Even my starter arugula lemon vinaigrette salad was delicious. Service was excellent and attentive, and the ambiance is definitely upscale and stylish. Overall, it's on the pricier side, but that feels expected for the quality and setting.
