Underwhelming food, not a lot of choices on the menu and very over-priced in comparison to the other delis in town. ($11 for a burger) I ordered chicken wings the last time I went and they looked so unappealing that I couldn't even eat them. Not going back. Staff was very nice and friendly however.

The Seth's combo wrap was outstanding. A really great blend of flavors with a great sauce selection makes it a juicy wrap that lights up your taste buds. This place is near my office and I figured I would give them a shot. We have an internal meeting next week and I will have 8 or 9 people in the office and we want to have someone deliver. Here is how my test run went. The staff were attentive and nice to deal with. The place is not huge. They have a few tables to sit at but this is primarily a take out location. There are a few parking places out front - you may want to back in when you get there if you can because backing out can be tough. I got a caprese sandwich in a wrap today and added grilled chicken. Figured this would be simple and contain several staples. Overall the sandwich was well made, stuffed to the edges so not a lot of leftover wrap at the ends. The ingredients were all fresh: tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese and the grilled chicken. I was pretty happy with everything and will look to have a larger order delivered next week. read more

We tried to come in many times after change of ownership back a couple years ago. The quality has been average and not as good as in the past. It's like everything is there as standard Italian combo sandwich but something is missing like vinegar or spread or pickled veggies. The new ownership did a good job renovating the flows in small space which makes more sense. Sorry, we miss the old Winfield Street Deli with very special touch of everything they made. read more

A little local spot. The Mediterranean Melt really packed a lot of flavor with grilled chicken, broccoli rabe, capicola, sundried tomatoes, and provolone. The Toscano contained a very generous amount of tasty tuna salad. A good place for a quick, good quality lunch. read more

My Office I work for is close to this spot as well and me and my boss were lucky when one of our temps introduced us to the Spot Deli. I mean what can I say more if every day we have fresh and healthy breakfast and lunch. We eat only healthy and food is home made, such as roast beef, fresh mozzarella, all kinds of fresh greens and the best bread that you can find in a aria. Every morning the food is delivered timely and worm enough so you can just enjoy it. Prices are very reasonable for the offered quality of the food. We truly appreciate friendly and carrying staff from spot deli. We highly recommend this place. Thank you so much guys. You are amazing. read more

Best breakfast sandwich in Norwalk. I get the king with sausage instead of ham with their special hot sauce. Perfect every time. I've only had an iced coffee once and it was very good as well. Friendly staff and great with call in orders. read more

Next time I went back, I tried the Calise sandwich, which has chicken cutlet, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, fresh mozzarella, prosciutto, and balsamic glaze. I asked for the broccoli rabe on the side because I know everyone makes it differently. I get that it can be bitter, but some places make it taste amazing without the bitterness, so I wanted it on the side. The sandwich was really good, so I'd give it four stars, especially since the breakfast one was just three in my book. Sometimes you gotta visit a place a couple of times to really get a feel for their food. I wasn't really a fan of the broccoli rabe--it was a bit too bitter for me. But the sandwich itself was tasty, with well-seasoned chicken and really fresh mozzarella. Not sure if they make the mozzarella in-house, but it's delicious. It tasted just like you'd expect from an authentic Italian deli. Very good. Third time I went, I tried the Mother Clucker, which has a chicken cutlet, Russian dressing, cheddar cheese, and bacon. I wanted to try it because I'd seen it being made during my last visit and it looked awesome. It took about ten minutes to get ready. When I opened it up, I realized it had melted cheddar, not sliced like I thought, but it was all good. The sandwich was tasty, but a bit over the top with the bacon and melted cheddar--almost too much. I think using sliced cheddar would bring everything together better. The melted cheese kinda takes away from it, in my opinion. The bacon was crispy even with the cheesy sauce on top, and the chicken was nicely seasoned. I definitely plan to come back and try the Chopped Italian Combo. The staff's always friendly and welcoming, and it's a solid spot if you're looking for breakfast, with plenty of breakfast platters and other menu items that might catch your eye.

The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and really informative. They're happy to walk you through the menu and make recommendations based on what you like. It's also surprisingly vegetarian- and vegan-friendly, they offer vegan meats so you can swap them into a lot of the classic dishes, which is rare for a taqueria. The food is outstanding. Even the free chips and salsa they start you with are memorable: the chips are fresh and super crunchy, and the salsa has real depth of flavor, not just heat. The entrées are some of the best value around, the burritos are massive (one could easily feed two or three people), and for takeout, the quesadillas literally come in a pizza box, which tells you everything you need to know about portion size. Their appetizers, queso, and house-made hot sauce are all excellent and full of flavor, not just spice. Most times I've been, the service has been fast, even when they're busy. The interior is clean, colorful, and decorated with authentic touches, so it feels fun and relaxed whether you're dining in or just grabbing takeout. If you're searching for great Mexican food in Norwalk, big portions, vegetarian/vegan options, and friendly service, Rincon Taqueria is easily one of the best spots around. Highly recommend.

The Spot Deli is my GO-TO deli when I'm in Westport, Norwalk, or commuting through Fairfield County. They serve simple, home style Italian dishes, and other traditional deli foods, and what blows me away is how fresh all of their ingredients are. Everything is done with excellence, and dishes such as their Wednesday Hanger Steak, Chicken Cacciatore or even a Seafood Paella is spectacular! Why pay restaurant prices when you can pick up a large portion of your favorite dish from a local family who knows your name, takes care of their customers, and does their deli the right way- with love and pride. That's it for now! The Spot Deli is the best! read more
