Such a cute little French restaurant in the Dacula area! My parents brought me here for dinner on a Friday night. The staff were very friendly and checked on our table several times. They are known for their Galette which is basically a savory crepe with toppings. We all tried a different galette and my favorite was the scallop one! They were a good portion and we all ended up taking left overs home after. They had a couple options not on a galette that I would want to come back and try!

We were greeted and seated. Both Vivianne and Yannick stopped by our table to check on our experience. It was an excellent meal. We started with a tasting of brisket on toast with a carrot soup. I also enjoyed the chicken curry on gallette and it was delicious. The portions are generous and the gallette a nice addition to the dish. My wife enjoyed salmon on rice and asparagus. The entire experience was a delight. Nice place with a quiet atmosphere and the bar is also well rounded. Taylor our server took great care in serving. This was our first visit and we will return.

What a great new addition to Dacula! This proven French crepe and Galette place from Braselton opened an evening dinner location in Dacula where some fine dining is well needed! Such nice staff, friendly , this is a trendy French restaurant with many classic French dishes and some delicious crepes for desert that are out of this world!! I came and sat at the really cool penny bar and got a Stella while gazing the menu and opted for the cod special which was a gorgeous scalloped potatoe crusted cod, baked with super rich mashed potatoe and crispy green beans! You get a free appetizer snack also, very French, . Lovely place, next to the high school, get a table , order wine or cocktail ( full bar!) , nice evening out . Highly recommend.! And if you haven't been to the brunch location in Braselton try it ! They really know how to do it!

Saw a dinner event for this new restaurant on Facebook, and decided to eat here for my birthday dinner with the girls while visiting the Atlanta area. It's located in Dacula, which is over 30 miles NE of ATL. Well worth the drive... Upon entering, Viviane (one of the owners) greeted us with her sweet French accent behind the hostess stand. She promptly seated us and handed us the menus. I was grateful the menus were simple and not overwhelming. The ambiance and comfortability of the restaurant was romantic and tastefully decorated. All the wait staff were very attentive and polite. All items came out quickly, nicely presented, and perfectly prepared. I started with a Honey Lavender Latte. Literally perfect. Of course I tried the French Onion Soup in a French restaurant! Very nice, although I usually prefer a little more bread & cheese and a bit less pepper. I tried a bite of the Salmon Pinwheels and they were light and flavorful. For my entree, I chose the Beef Bourguignon. It was like a beef stew with veggies on a bed of mashed potatoes. Very good! It is red wine heavy, but was just the perfect type of comfort food I wanted. The others wanted to try the galette entrees (one Bolognese and one Dolmen beef) and they were divine. Perfectly prepared and tender meat. Very tasty and interesting since it was my first time trying galettes. We all ended up saving half of our entrees so we could try out their dessert crepes. Chef's kiss! Viviane even serenaded me with a soft birthday song she sang in French. I highly recommend trying this unique place out if ever in the area. It is truly a noteworthy dining experience that I would love to have again.

I love this place so much, and Vivienne, the owner, is an absolute gem. I've been to the brunch location a lot and recently came here for dinner with my husband. PERFECT spot for a nice date night or anniversary! The food and service are top tier!

    The incredible espresso martini.

Short version: I would strongly encourage anybody to come here IMMEDIATELY. What a beautiful hidden gem. Absolutely incredible service and when you think that can't be topped, the food is even more incredible. Detailed version: From the moment you step over the threshold of the door, you are embraced into Viviane + family's world. From the genuine greeting to the charming atmosphere, the aromatics filling the space, all the way to the gentle background sound of various degrees of music playing. The attention to detail is wildly impressive yet approachable. The taste and quality of food is not easily achieved. Great portioning. Not dainty. Not heavy. Enough to leave with a full tummy and an even fuller dose of joy to your soul. You can tell each person that works here wants to be here. They feel personally invested rather than just a job for the sake of it. They can THROW DOWN on an espresso martini. Absolutely delicious I had mine decaf but don't let that fool you, it packed a sneaky punch. The only "negative" I experienced is laughable at best and that is solely that I think their restroom mirror is hilariously small and perhaps hung by a taller person but if my vanity is the only downside at an incredible restaurant - again, laughable. Come for the experience, stay for the journey. TGG Dacula has, without a single question, gained a very loyal follower. I wish nothing but incredible things for this family, the business, the community. We need this addition in our neighborhood as we continue to flourish. Truly blessed and grateful for this to be in my own "backyard" but would be worth the drive wherever you are coming from.

This is a Must-Go-To restaurant. Please go to this new French restaurant in downtown historic Dacula! We need privately owned, fabulous restaurants like this in the area. It has a selective but deeply French inspired menu that fits everyone's tastes and very generous portions for the price. I went here to celebrate my birthday with my family and what an amazing experience! I highly recommend The Galloping Galette not only for their service but also for the food, the atmosphere and the attention-to-detail. It was our first time here and I had the Lakeside cocktail which was very smooth without being overpowering. Everyone who tasted it also loved it. We had the salmon roll and the mussels for appetizers. My husband had the French onion soup that he said he would come back here just to have the soup, it was so good. For entrees, we had beef strips, scallops, the 1" thick pork chop special with sweet potatoes that was like a perfect soufflé, and flavorful collard greens, which I typically don't like but these were very good. I can't remember the name of the other entree, but it was like a beef roast over mashed potatoes. I'm totally butchering the names of these entrees. The menu is in French with descriptions in English. We had the dessert with bananas, the dessert with exotic fruits and the dessert with chocolate. Everything was excellent in taste, texture, timeliness and presentation. Viviane, who was the owner and explained that she and the food were from the northern part of France, I believe, sang happy birthday in French! She came to the table a few times to check on us and the servers were on the spot with meeting our requests and needs.

The Galloping Galette in Dacula opened its doors just about a month ago. If you are familiar with the culinary jewel called The Galloping Galette in Braselton, you already know this is a place worth its patronage. TGG -as it is lovingly called - sets the standard for crepes and galettes in Northeast Georgia. Its owner and hosts Yannick and Viviane brings the French expertise in both flavors and hospitality to offer their guests an experience only TGG can offer. I can speak for many when I say that once you have had a TGG crepe, there is no going back to other inferior copies. We have visited with TGG in Braselton for years now and was excited to finally step foot in TGG in Dacula. It did not disappoint. We went one surprisingly cold evening, and were embraced in a warm hug that is the simple, yet elegant dining space. There was a cozy alcove for customers who might need to wait for their table, but since we called to make a reservation before we came, we did not have to wait at all. All of our appetizers were top-notch. Our party had the French Onion Soup, the salad, and the Quiche. We have had many French Onion soups before, but theirs was the best. I will never know what ingredients made it as divine as it was, but really, you just sit there and enjoy it all. The Quiche holds its own, the crust crumbles, while the egg filling satisfies in both its silky softness and its blend of salty sweetness. They also managed to elevate the salad with toasted nuts and their very own house-made dressing. Our main courses were superb! The Galette Bolognese unified meat, tomato and herbs in a blend that sings in your palate. We were happily surprised with the Galette with beef medallions - good meat and a sear perfect for its size. The salmon that I had was the best in my opinion - the galette layered with cheese was the perfect pair for the bed of greens and the expertly grilled salmon, flaky and flavorful. We initially planned to cap the meal with crepes for dessert, but alas we were too full to order any more tonight. So we will definitely be back, for date nights, celebrations, visiting guests, and just about any other excuse we can come up with to savor what is undeniably among the best tastes that Dacula has to offer.

Delicious food, lovely location and ambiance, and incredible service! Owners Yannick and Viviane Fonfrede are generous and hosts. One of our favorite local places for quality food! Don't skip the Seabass!

What a cool spot in downtown Dacula. Great food. I think the Sea Bass was our favorite (special of the night) and the cocktails were fantastic. Everyone there was nice and attentive.

And let me tell you, they did not disappoint with the shrimp. 6 jumbo pieces. Omg. The entree was done pretty well and it was just the right portion size. I was already eyeballing the Portobello burger and cowboy burger before he suggesed them. So, we chose those 2 along with the onion rings and spicy fried pickles. My birthday is Christmas week and I typically don't go out as I simply would rather not have to deal with the anticipated crowds. And from the friendliness of the valet, to the near immediate greeting and seating upon arrival, Seasons52 truly made my birthday special. To their credit, the staff did apologize and replaced the meal, and also offered a Caesar salad. However, the salad itself was not good and didn't really make up for the situation. The replacement entrée was fine--it tasted good--but by that point the experience was already affected. For a place like this, you expect a higher level of quality control and attention to detail. While they did try to fix the issue, finding something like that in your food is hard to overlook. Overall, just not the experience I expected for the price. Only good thing was my server he was excellent, I wish I could have remembered his name.

Megan wanted a dining room meal not fast foo, so we picked Jinya based on my experience at the Athens location. It was a good choice! There are many restaurants in this plaza, so there is plenty of good parking. We were in after 1pm so the lunch crowd was mostly gone. The restaurant has the somewhat standard contemporary asian restaurant look. We were quickly seated at a window table. The menu is small but has what you want for a ramen restaurant. I ordered the original tonkotsu with crispy chicken topping. Megan ordered the chicken ramen. The order arrived quickly at our table along with some additional sauces. My ramen was outstanding. The pork slices were tender and delicious. I don't know how they flavor that egg but it is good! The broth was tasty but aggressively salted. The chicken topping was just the over the top thing I like. Megan liked her chicken ramen quite a bit, so much so she ate it all, not bring anything home.
