If I were to ever be in Lawrenceville area, I'd come back in a heartbeat. First off, I loved the decor. They had an Alice in Wonderland theme going on which was so creative. The host said it was to celebrate the spring season since they did a apres ski theme during the winter. So festive. Okay so boom, we came here on a whim since we were going to a concert in the area later that evening. Surprisingly it wasn't busy for a Saturday which I expected it to be. Unfortunately though they had upcoming reservations so we weren't able to sit in the main room. We sat in their second dining room which was off to the side but still decorated. Our service was still good and the waiter was very attentive. For apps, we got the She Crab soup. I would've preferred for the crab meat to be sprinkled on top vs. in the soup but nonetheless it was still delicious. Super fresh!! Omg. I even contemplated on switching my entree to the stuffed grouper to get some more crab meat. I ended up getting the Shrimp scampi which was a great choice. And let me tell you, they did not disappoint with the shrimp. 6 jumbo pieces. Omg. The entree was done pretty well and it was just the right portion size. If we had more time, I would've ordered their toffee bread pudding or the honey crème brulee but that's all the more reason to come back. Oh and order the It was all a dream cocktail. We had brunch at Perry's during their Alice in Wonderland pop up, and had a magical experience. The entire restaurant and bar is currently completely decked out with such attention to detail you really feel like you fell down the rabbit hole! I love unique, complex cocktails and their cocktail menu felt made for me. I had three: Red Knight, Going Madd, and 6 Impossible Things and loved them all. I also had the Garden Omelet and that was as delicious as the cocktails! They were unexpectedly busy and understaffed, and yet the servers took the time to answer all my questions about the cocktails and make sure we loved everything. Highly recommend!! I found Perry Street Chophouse on Yelp. We were in town for a tradeshow and wanted fine dining. Couldn't have been a better choice! I had the best filet mignon I've ever had here and some fantastic appetizers, including a top-notch crabcake. So much crab meat! Beautiful craft cocktails, and a warm inviting ambience. We were lucky enough to see it while it was decorated for the holidays with ambient decoration. The restaurant is situated on the towns main strip so it's easy to find. Parking is less easy to find on a busy night, but the neighborhood is very walkable and cute. Excellent spot for a date night or fancy dinner for a special celebration. Oh my, where do I begin! First timer! I saw a video shared on TikTok during Friendsgiving and I screenshot it to remind me to check them out. Well, here I am! Upon arriving I noticed the beautiful Christmas decor along the sidewalks/street. Parking on the street is difficult unless you're there early. There is a fairly large parking lot in the rear, however, it's full for the most part. I drove around maybe 5x waiting for someone to leave. My reservation was for 5:45 I arrived at 5:15 but again, I was trying to get a parking space. As I walked in I was greeted by a server who directed me towards the rear where the hostess was standing. He was very nice as I provided my name I asked if there were any tables available. When I made the reservations, the Bar was only available. He mentioned the smaller tables near the bar were available. It worked perfectly! Since it was near the Bar area, Bartender Don, assisted me. He brought water for starters. Molly took the order and she recommended my entire dinner. I mean everything she suggested was !! I ordered a chopped salad for starters. It was delicious! Fresh! Just enough to get you started For the entree, I ordered Shrimp Scampi. 5 large Shrimp are spread over linguine noodles and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. It was DELICIOUS! Seasoned to perfection! And, it was just enough!! I was stuffed! And I couldn't leave without something sweet. Molly helped me decide between the Chocolate cake and Bread pudding. I chose the Chocolate Toffee-filled bread pudding. Topped with vanilla Gelato. It was delicious! Great choice! What topped it off was Live music . The pianist played beautifully. Cool little hidden gem, we ordered take out. We started with the crab cake & fried lobster tail, which was golden on the outside and all-lump crab on the inside. The lobster tail was huge and super meaty. We also got the stuffed grouper which came with spinach & mashed potatoes. It was good but not my fav just a lot going on. I loved the mash the potatoes were deff fresh you can taste it. My partner ordered the ribeye steak, cooked just right, with a rich, juicy flavor. I went there on Aug 7th, 2025 for a work related function. It's beautiful! And there's a separate room to host private functions such as ours. I don't remember our hosts name but she was Caucasian woman with blond dreads. She was very polite , accommodating , and knowledgeable about the food we were ordering. Every thing was delicious. Tried to place a to go order and they didn't have 3/4 items that I ordered. The waitress on the phone that was accepting my order went to get her manager bc she couldn't accommodate. The manager then got on the phone and asked the order. I asked if she needed me to completely start over after 10 minutes of waiting. She said yes, I chuckled. She then said excuse me, and hung up. Extremely unprofessional and they need someone to manage their online menu since it changes daily. Definitely wouldn't place this restaurant among the elites. Go to Frankie's or h&w before Perry's street if in Gwinnett. I know both managers and GM's at the others. Great people. I've eaten at Perry street 10 times and there's been a problem 5/10 times. Do not go. And for the ambiance... it's a a nice establishment. A little dim for my liking but the waiters and waitresses were friendly and attentive. Had reservations here for Sunday brunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. The reservation was for 11:30 AM but they went ahead and seated us since we were early at 11 AM without issue. The dining room was quite empty but had a lovely ambience with wonderful music and super friendly employees. The website encourages people to park in the back of the building in the parking lot and is a little misleading making diners think that this is the only entrance. There's a few free parking spots in front of the restaurant and there is a door to enter from the front. I think the reason they want you to go through the back is the hostess stand is at the back door. I ordered a bees knees cocktail which was fantastic. I wish I hadn't driven so I could've enjoyed more than one lol. I also ordered the filet mignon entrée from the brunch menu. When I received my steak, it was a little more rare than I would prefer and they had zero issue in correcting that. My friend ordered the crabcake entrée from the brunch menu, and that also was spectacular. Sidenote, the aïoli that comes with the crabcake entrée has a bit of a kick to it. They bring out chilled bottled water for each table and also provide complementary blueberry muffins with a honey apple butter. I didn't partake in the blueberry muffins, but my friend had one and then took the other home. He said the apple butter was phenomenal. Toward the end of service, they brought out a surprise crème brûlée with a happy birthday message printed on chocolate for my friend. Don't worry they don't do any singing lol. I made my reservation online and mentioned in the comments that i was taking my boyfriend here to celebrate his graduate degree and new promotion. Once we arrived, the host greeted him with a very enthusiastic congratulations and he had two glasses of champagne at our table waiting for us! Our waitress was extremely welcoming and attentive. I have no complaints about the service we received here. The ambiance of the restaurant is absolutely perfect. It has dim lighting and gave a very romantic vibe. Plus the live pianist made the experience ten times better. I definitely recommend going on a Friday or Saturday when he's playing! Now the food? AMAZING. The bread was soooo fluffy and freshhh! We had the bone marrow, French onion soup, and chowder as appetizers. 10/10! We also had the Prime Delminico Ribeye and the New York Strip along with the creamed spinach, Mac and cheese, braised mushrooms and the Perry Street Mac and cheese. Again, all amazing and no complaints at all! In true chop house fashion, the portions were very generous, so we really only had room for a little bit of our main course but the leftovers were just as good the next day haha. Had reservations for New Uears Eve. Arrived very early and were seated right away. Service was spot on. Lobster bisque was out of this world. My wife and I both ordered filet mignon- she ordered medium rare I ordered Pittsburgh style. My wife's was fine but mine? I would struggle to even call it rare. They offered repeatedly to take it back and cook a new filet but I refused. Who wants to sit there on NYE and watch their wife eat a steak and then have her watch you eat? So, why five stars? Because the food was excellent, the service outstanding, they owned their mistake and offered to make it right, and when the bill came there was a generous credit. What more can you ask for?
