I'm a big food hall fan and this one does not disappoint! It's newish and still looks pristine. There's a ton of awesome vendors, even beyond just food options, which is cool to see. There's a lot of seating scattered through, including outside, which can sometimes get tight in food halls, so I love to see that, too. A few more highlights for me... + Twenty Two the juice spot has been fabulous both times I've had the pleasure of trying them. + Pumpkinfish is a retail gift shop that has so many cool things! They do a great job at curating the items, everything ranging from Indy themed knick knacks to locally made art and jewelry, all quirky and unique. + The variety of food they have is amazing. Everything from Greek, Asian-fusion, Mexican, and ice cream to a bakery, poke, pizza, burgers, and more. There's something for everyone. Overall, Indy is lucky to have a place like this. Wow! What a pleasant surprise to find and visit this location. If you love exploring multiple food and drink cuisines under one roof, you are in luck! There are several fantastic food halls and multi-concept venues to match your vibe. Great way to reinvent/repurpose an old building. There are way too many venues to mention; so there is chicken, Greek, pizza, Asian, seafood, bbq, beer, liquors, sodas, burgers, bakery, ice creams, Brazilian, Venezuelan, Mexican, noodle bar and more. I had a fishsimmwich. Drink, fish sandwich and chips $12. Tasty sandwich, potato chips mixture of plain and cheese, plain were good, not a cheesy chip fan, but sandwich was good. This is great place if you have a lot of people or picky eaters but be mindful that some sellers will sell out of specials. I really wanted to try the Japanese sandwiches but around 6pm they were sold out of every single one. Overall, the places we tried were okay, with the exception of both Brazilian places which were phenomenal.Both were a really great value for the potions and very well seasoned. The rest, like the dumplings and the empanadas were hit or miss, more so on the miss side. But I will say it's a very fun place to hang out. There's lots of space to grab a beer and just catch up with friends. read more

I'm a longtime fan of Wisconsin-based Geronimo Hospitality Group - the group behind Ironworks Hotel and complex (easily my favorite hotel in Indy) and now this complex. By now, I think we all know this is a makeover of the historic Coca-Cola Bottling Plant along with surrounding properties. It's a tourist destination for sure with the food hall, a business complex, Living Room Theatres, several restaurants outside the food hall, and a few other options. The Garage Food Hall is just that - it's one ginormous food hall with multiple restaurant vendors, a couple service vendors, and a handful of retail vendors. I was a bit worried about this entire complex - I'm one of those folks who isn't really happy with what's happened to Broad Ripple and I feared the same would be true on Mass Avenue. While I might argue Mass Avenue has a few too many apartments, the truth is the Mass Avenue "neighborhood" vibe continues and there's been a much more successful effort at maintaining the history of the location. The Garage includes food vendors like Clancy's Hamburgers, J's Lobster and Fish Market, La Chinita Poblana, Azucar Morena, Poke Guru, Hard Truth Distilling, Lick Ice Cream, Abbiocco Pizzeria, Herculean Meal Prep, Twenty-Two Juicing, and 4 Birds Bakery among othrs. Brick & Mortar Barbershop is here. Pumkinfish is still here. There's a parking garage that's adjacent and connected to the business complex. I'd heard that parking there was high, though I hadn't heard that The Garage's surface lots had jacked up their prices. A lot. In theory, I suppose I should say that I still love The Garage, though today's visit wasn't quite the gem I'd hoped it would be. First, there's that new pricing, etc. in the surface lots. It works similar to Park Indy in that you scan a QR code, select your time, and pay for parking. Whereas you could easily park for a few bucks before and enjoy your time, today I paid over $15 for two hours. Honestly, that's stupid. I get it if it's premium parking. However, Monday afternoon is far from primetime. There's not a single vendor in this joint I'd pay $15 to park for. Yes, you can go shopping around. But, seriously. That's just plain silly. Secondly, the switch to the QR code makes it considerably more difficult for some with disabilities - with one exception, all of the codes aren't even close to wheelchair height. Seriously. Geronimo has always been stellar with ADA, however, this is basically saying "We don't want you here." Do I believe that's true? Nope. I know these folks, but that's still the message I got. Thirdly, the automatic door wasn't working today. Another easy to avoid glitch. Listen. I get it. This is a historic building. It's not going to be perfect, but there were some great things in place and it seems like they've been set aside. There's so much to love here and I'm staying at a 4-star rating. I love this building, but this wasn't nearly as dazzling as I expected it to be. It's still a beautiful building and this complex is truly impressive. However, with these issues there's no doubt it'll negatively impact my presence here. I go where I feel wanted, and if I don't feel wanted I don't go. Rant over. read more

The Garage food hall is the most popular spot in Bottleworks District. An old factory building was renovated for the hall, so it has nice rustic appearance, with plenty of sunlight coming through glass panels in the roof. The hall has two sides. Each side has so many small food stores, more than 20 vendors in total. There are also multiple bars. The common area has a lot of tables and chairs for visitors to dine. There are so many variety of cuisines available, I tried the lobster roll, Brazilian cheese bread, paste; and Japanese sandwich. It was so crowded that finding an empty table was challenging. Luckily we found a group leaving, and grabbed the table as soon as we started to look for a table. Staff members were walk around the hall and cleaning every table after a party had left. The restrooms were well maintained as well. The only few downsides were parking was really tough to get next to the building, so we parked in a private lot few minutes from the food hall. The food and drinks were bit pricey, for example I got a sandwich and soda combo for $20. read more

A popular food court that was transformed from an old Coca-Cola bottling factory. The area also had some shopping but nothing really interested me. Many restaurants combined inside, sweets, drinks, international cuisines. Multiple tables and seats for customers. The cleaning crew was on top of the tables. Very efficient. Super easy to find something delicious to eat here across the array of restaurants available. My personal favorites are the Brazilian restaurant (try the fries) and the ice cream counter. Only downside is it gets quite loud during peak hours, which can be a little overwhelming. read more

The Garage, we all know and love it around Indy. If you don't know it, you will soon love it. This is the kind of place you take your group of people who never agree on where to go out and eat. There's food stalls for just about all the cuisines you can think of, as well as a gift shop, barber shop, and a clothing store. There's also a lot of other businesses nearby for your entertainment! Every food stall operates about the same way, where you order at their counter and you get a buzzer for when your food is done, so you can still sit down with your crew while you wait. This space also does host events sometimes, with a game night social every Tuesday 6-9 PM, with board games galore that you can take around with you. They have also had March Madness watch parties there in the past. Take care of when these events occur, because it can get super crowded in there. The Garage still maintains some of the Bottleworks charm by having some of the old machinery on display. One thing that I wish was improved about The Garage is that there should be more trash cans and tray collections around. These can be hard to find with all the commotion of The Garage. read more

There is restrooms, wifi and plenty of seating for wherever you decide to pick from. If there are several people they can each pick a different food vendor and yall can meet together to eat together. What out for parking tho! The Bottleworks lot says Monday to Friday 8 to 3 is free for 1st hour. I was there 35 mins but still charged full price of $7. That is the only reason I'm giving the Garage Food hall 3 starts. Maybe they can do something about the Bottlworks parking issue. read more

Best food hall I've ever been to! I like food halls in general but this one doesn't have that stark, cold feel to it like most. The Christmas decorations might have had a lot to do with that. The bathrooms were clean and modern. Now the important part: the food. There were a lot of great choices from Greek to Asian noodles, lobster to poke, pizza to burgers. Something for those who like to get something a little different but also for the pickiest of eaters. I got items from Lil' Dumplings and Lick Ice Cream-both were very good! There were employees coming around to help clear your table and wash them off for the next person. Overall great experience! This was a really fun spot to eat out in downtown Indianapolis. I was in town for a work event and we all came here because there were so many options to choose from. The lobster rolls were a hit as was the steak frites from another vendor. The bathrooms were clean and easy to find. The only drawback was the lack of water stations. It would be nice to have cups to self dispense water. They had fountains if you had your own bottle but reusable cups would be nice too. read more

My husband and I parked near The Garage Food Hall before walking down Mass Avenue all the way to the Downtown Indianapolis area, but it was too early for lunch. We knew we wanted to go back for lunch one day. We visited on August 8, 2025 and I picked La Chinita Poblana for my choice. I am used to really good Mexican food in L.A., but I was feeling daring. I ordered a canita taco and blood orange margarita. The onions as you can see from my photo should be cut up in smaller pieces, but that's just what I am used to when I want a taco in L.A.. The blood orange margarita was so good that I ordered a second one. Thankfully my husband doesn't drink so I always have a designated driver. I don't even recall what my husband chose, but I'd go back. It was about a half mile from my son's place. Parking was a bit of a pain when we were there. The automated parking machines were not working at all, but we called the Parking Company and they just said to just leave car and not worry about it. read more

Finally made here! Well let's just say this place is huge! So many options with lots of variety. We tried the J lobster and the bbq place! The bbq was good it just wasn't served hot. Not a big deal but the brisket was very tender. I would try something else next time maybe from the Brazil Grill or Jay lobster! There is something for everyone here! The Garage Food Hall is a wonderful food court in downtown Indy that provides a diverse selection of restaurants and boutique shops for your shopping pleasure. It is connected to the Living Rooms theater which I have not been to yet, but would like to go check it out very soon. The bars are excellent and the selection of food is very good. The 4 Birds Bakery is excellent. The Garage Food Hall is a wonderful addition to downtown Indy and I would recommend to anyone to come here for food or drink if they are visiting Indy for the first time. This place is HUGE and such a nice retreat from the heat outdoors. There are two distinctive sides filled with restaurants and a couple shops including a few bars. Service at each restaurant I tried was phenomenal. I went on a weekday (Monday) so it wasn't terribly busy, but there were people inside eating. I tried the Hot Honey Fried Lobster sandwich from J's Lobster & Fish Market. It was $24. Although the bun was soggy at the bottom, it was a tasty morsel if you like lobster. I couldn't taste the hot honey, but the lobster was enjoyable. They served it with cole slaw and a mixture of two different potato chips. I would have enjoyed the cole slaw more on the side than in the basket alongside the lobster roll since it became warm. Service was quick and it was a large portion. I also tried the Greek Style Fries from Mama Fofo's for $9.95. It was a generous portion and some of the best fries I've ever had actually. Covered with a lemon-type of dressing drizzled over the top along with feta cheese, it was exactly what I had hoped for. I enjoyed every last french fry! I also tried the pork/leek dumplings from Lil' Dumplings Noodle Bar. I got about 4 large dumplings covered in chili sauce, onions, and a few other fun toppings. It was medium heat, it says 2 out of 10 on the board. I found them to be a bit spicier, but very tasty and filling. $14.88 for a serving. There are plenty of tables, long ones, tall tables, and other areas to sit for individuals, couples or groups. There are also a set of restrooms, ATM, and a parking pay station inside. We came here for dinner and really enjoyed it! We had a range of ages from 7 months to 60+, so it was a great way to satisfy everyone's palates. First time visiting Indy's food hall. The vibe and options are great but unfortunately, each of us were slightly underwhelmed by our food selections. The food just didn't taste fresh or very out-of-the box in flavor. We all left feeling slightly unsatisfied. The people are the venezuelan restaurant were super nice though. As for my beef Cachapa, the beef was very good and super well seasoned, it was the pancake that was offputting to me. The Garage is pretty much a great one-stop shop if you're trying to feed a bunch of people with different food tastes. Someone can get something weird and out-there while another person just gets a simple burger and fries - and someone else could just sit out dinner entirely and have a drink or two. It's very, very food-heavy, though, so once you're done eating, there's really not much to do. Stuff to Know: -Google Maps makes it look like two buildings. It's actually one single building. Important to know when you're in the middle of winter. It looks like they ended up connecting the two buildings with a glass "sunroof", and it's really cute. -There is a filtered water refilling station by the bathrooms. The water still tastes like the local water. -Good variety of seating - and you can pick where you want to sit if you think certain things for your body. Everything is sturdy metal chairs, though, but you can choose from backless chairs, high tops, bar seating, and low top tables. I didn't see any chairs with arms, though. -The Theater is next door. This can make the Garage Hall a great fit before/after a movie with friends. -Each individual food vendor is an individual business; you'll need to contact the individual business if you have questions or comments. The Food Hall is just the giant space. PROS: -Very spacious. Unlike a lot of the food halls I've been to, this one has a ton of open space. All of the various restaurant/booths are located on the walls of the halls while all of the interior space is used for tables and chairs. I could definitely see this place getting crowded when it's busy, but open spaces help all of the options from feeling overwhelming. -Tons and tons of booze options. Cocktails? You're good. Wine? Yep. Beer? Yep. A good chunk of the food establishments have their own alcoholic options, and there is a dedicated cocktail bar, beer bar, and wine bar as well. If you want booze, you can definitely find it. -Super duper clean. There was cleaning staff everywhere, no matter where we looked. When we'd finish a meal and just be chatting, someone would come by and ask if they could remove our trash for us. They keep on top of keeping things clean here - even in the middle of the day. CONS: -Some of the chairs are awkwardly uncomfortable. Even just to eat lunch, I felt stiff and had my legs go numb; there were only a few tables where I'd want to stay and chat with friends for hours. -Because it's every restaurant for itself, everything you're served will be in disposable to-go containers. This makes for a ton of garbage - especially as a lot of people are probably grabbing their food to eat inside the food hall. I wish there was a way to make reusable utensils and plates/bowls a thing. I can't imagine how much unnecessary garbage this place makes on a daily basis. read more

Too loud and much of the food is not authentic but rather catered to the main demographic of Indianapolis. Don't go here expecting the best food you've ever had and carry a full wallet. Had some family come into town and we all wanted something a bit different for lunch so we went to the Garage. Lots of great choices to be had. I tried J's lobster and fish market. I tried the ARROZ CON CAMARONES. It was different than expected as their queso was not at all what I had experienced before. The dish was good, but I probably would not order it again due to the queso. I'd definitely try J's again. Others in our party had everything from Asian food to Brazilian, as well as grilled chicken kabobs. I saw many restaurants I would like to try. One could go to the Garage many times and not eat at the same restaurant twice for quite some time, and then there are many different dishes at each. I saw someone with chicken tenders that looked outstanding. Open seating and a bit crowded but we found a table without much trouble. Parking was paid and for us visiting on the weekend it was $6. I think they may provide parking validation if one goes to the theater. I will definitely return. Great choice for folks who like different foods but want to have a meal together. I'd say this is a pretty nice spot definitely a tourist spot. I think it is a great addition to the city and offers a lot of things for people to do like the variety actually for all ages. I do feel like the drinks and such were a little pricey, but that's usually expected in a popular tourist spot. Other than that, I don't have any complaints. It was not overcrowded and it was plenty of space to spray out and find other things to do. I think some nice arcade game editions would really set it off, but other than that, I would definitely be back! read more
