Yay for being yelp elite. We got to visit this place for our yelp elite experience. This particular establishment is tucked in one of the side streets of Kailua, opposite side from Hamakua, where get Oh My Grill, LexBreezy, KFC.. at that end street on the corner. They don't have parking so you have to find street parking. We went to go visit today, Wednesday. They open 8AM to 9PM everyday, and we got there around 10AM ish. Upon entering, you enter through the short wooden gate by sliding it lol. Was all confused because signs said "the Garden to your left, Boardroom to the right", so we kind of passed the entrance, going around the corner, and noticed that there wasn't another entrance on the other side, and that's when we figured the short wooden sliding gate was the entrance lol as you walk in, it's an outdoor establishment, lots of seats everywhere. With this yelp elite experience, we got to have a pizza and a dole whip. They have a menu posted up, and you order at the truck. They don't start serving pizza till 11, so we left cuz we was too early, and wanted to take advantage of our yelp perk, so went to go run errands and came back around 2PM ish. We got a pepperoni pizza, vanilla dole whip, and I ordered a maitai. Pizza was good. Dole whip was good, and Maitai was good. Everything was good! I loved that we got to make our way here to take advantage of my yelp elite perk because if wasn't for this yelp event, on any other normal day, we would just pass this place, not even knowing what this place has to offer! One thing about this place is that it's hotttt, if u go in the day. And for me, alcohol and hotness does not go together lol Since they open till 9, I would think it's probably cooler when sun is down. Love pet friendly places. We got to bring our jellybean with us. The hubby ordered a bagel with cream cheese $6 and a garden refresher $10. They were both ok. I've never seen a bagel that thin. For some reason they smashed it. It wasn't dense and airy like the bagels I consume. A thin layer of cream cheese was spread between the two slices of bagels. The garden refresher was served with a slice of orange. It's made with pineapple juice, lime juice, vanilla syrup and club soda. It was a little watered down, but I did get that fizz from the club soda. I really liked the outdoorsy patio vibe. It's a great place to chill with your friends. They have a guy singing live music. Be forewarned that it does get very hot in the afternoons. It's better to come at evening. read more

Came here initially because I was invited but went back again because of the great food in service They have a great outdoor area, which is The Garden, but in between the fine dining area that's inside and the garden is kind of a patio. They let me sit there with my dog, which was nice because it was a perfect evening to enjoy great food and live entertainment! read more

Ok first of all, this is the one of cutest places in Kailua. We came on a Saturday around noon, and it wasn't very crowded, so we sat atop the deck inside the pagoda. The four of us really enjoyed our time there. We were looking for a light lunch that would tide us over until dinner, since we were planning to eat a bunch. So we ordered the charcuterie board and the caprese skewers. It fed the four of us well, everyone was satisfied and the price was around $30. And for four people? If you want to look for a garden vibe brunch place, this is the spot for you! Most people would stay here for hours to talk and just enjoy a drink with their friends. Cocktails are served all day and it was so tasty! I heard great things about their coffees so I would definitely come back for that soon! We had the breakfast croissant and the chicken gyro and it was surprisingly really tasty! I was genuinely surprised by how tasty the food was! The portion is not huge, but it was definitely worth it! They also have live music at night, so if you want a livelier vibe, then definitely come at night. It's also dog friendly, so you can bring your fur-friends there too! After hike tradition, find a local place for breakfast/brunch. Loving the Graden! Service was down to earth, friendly and fast. Barista made the best ice coffees in the neighborhood, and I have tried the other coffee shops by them. The outdoor area was family, and doggy friendly. We enjoyed playing a quick game of cornhole while we waited for our food which was so much fun, and the time flew by. Such a great experience. LOVED IT!! Oh yeah the food!!! Charming garden setting for fast casual fare. This is the perfect late Sunday morning or later afternoon stop for a nosh and drinks with friends where you won't feel rushed to vacate your table. We enjoyed the Chicken Gyro with salad and some kombucha on tap while soaking in the perfect weather on our return from the beach. Service was warm and genuine. We were meeting with some friends and needed a casual spot for a smallish group to have coffee and light fare, was kid-friendly and located in Kailua. We decided on The Garden at Boardroom. Casual / outdoorsy / backyard feel. Perfect for friends and conversation. We lingered over our drinks and food for some time and never felt rushed. Lots of seating - picnic tables with umbrellas for shade. There were 6 of us (4 adults and 2 kids) and didn't feel crowed or cramped. Nor did we feel like we were intruding on other patrons' space. Kid friendly - The sliding gate was perfect for keeping the kids (specifically toddlers) safe as the place is located on a busy corner. The artificial turf softened their inevitable trips and falls as they happily explored. Coffee drinks and avocado toast were tasty. Bonus - Dog friendly too! I'd consider bringing our pup the next time but she'd likely eat a croissant (or anything edible) out of an unsuspecting kid's hand. Located off Kailua Road just as you enter Kailua town. Walked in during the rain today not expecting much and was greeted with a wonderful smile from the server Lys. We ended up getting a a drink and sharing the turkey pesto sandwich with bacon and had some of their ow dole whip. I highly recommend stopping by when you're in the area on the island. I went to the garden at boardroom with a friend for a Yelp event. I went for trivia night, while somewhat fun, was very golf heavy and thus a little disappointing. I wish they advertised better on social media what the trivia topics were going to be. Parking was impossible and we had to find a spot a few blocks down in the residential neighborhood. The second we walked in I was confused on where to order. They had a sign that said go to the right and a host will seat you but there was nobody in sight to help. We eventually found the bar/place to order but it was very unclear. We order a Hawaiian pizza and dole whip. The dole whip was a touch icy but still pretty tasty. The pizza was practically inedible, but I was starving after the long wait and consumed it regardless. Overall, we still had a good time but they definitely have a bunch of kinks to work out here, and I don't see myself coming back anytime soon. read more

Cute spot in Kailua. It wasn't busy at all. My boyfriend and I stopped for coffee and some food after we went for a walk and to the beach! I walk past here all the time when I go shopping and whatnot, but I've never gone in because I wasn't sure about it. I finally went yesterday with a friend who LOVES this place, so I was expecting some really good coffee. I was let down. The espresso tasted bitter and sort of like it had been pulled and then sat around for a bit. I had a honey bee latte and I tried someone else's plain espresso and a cappuccino, none of which were that good. The non coffee drinks were fine, and I do agree with my friend that it has a very cool vibe. The outdoor experience and the games, tables, the whole thing is unique and what you might expect from a city-touristy spot in a place like Hawaii, so I would go on a nice day with my friend and just get a drink thats not coffee, maybe. We talked to two employees, both of them were very nice and helpful. We asked about the drinks and chatted for a few minutes. Both ladies were nice to us and open to talking for a bit. Our items came out quickly and they gave them to us in mugs, not to go cups, which we really like. TLDR: the coffee wasn't good quality, but the workers are super nice and if you like outdoor/backyard vibes you might like it anyway. I would say that it wasn't good, but it wasn't bad. Looking for a dog-friendly spot to get some computer work done and grab a coffee in Kailiu - super glad I stopped by The Garden at Boardroom. One really cool thing is that there are a few local businesses here, from a coffee spot, hair salon, and acai / smoothie bowls. The vibe is really laid-back, kinda like the coolest backyard hangout. There's a few activities for the keiki and tons of tables and chairs, mostly covered to keep you protected from the rain or sunshine. I ordered their lulu lavender coffee and OG avocado toast. The lulu lavender had a bunch of adaptogens like Rishi, Ashwagandha, and I added Lions Mane. Those offerings are super unique here and I'm glad I was able to try it. The OG avo toast on sourdough had fresh avocado, organic cilantro, organic red onion, lime, sea salt & pepper, olive oil - just how I make it at home. The service here is really amazing- super friendly, charming and accommodating. They offered to close off the gates so my dog could roam around and I super appreciated the trust and opportunity for him to do so! They have a bunch of community events here from taco tuesday, yoga classes, and ice baths - I can't wait to come by to one of their events soon! read more

Okay, so first of all, they don't have regular drip coffee, which momentarily shook my elder millennial soul. I was about to clutch my reusable tote bag in protest, but then I got an Americano instead and... listen. It was hella good. Like, "forget drip coffee even existed" good. Then came the breakfast sandwich on a croissant. 10/10. No notes. Flaky, buttery, cheesy perfection. I'd fight someone for the last one. Also, minor detail, but I'm pretty sure the coolest man in Kailua works here. He took our order with the exact amount of chill that made me question if I, too, could be effortlessly cool in linen pants. The whole vibe of the place is like if a Pinterest board came to life and gave you a hug. Plants everywhere. Light. Breeze. Birds probably whispering affirmations in the distance. We came here after checking the pics and menu to find a completely different menu of less than half the items on the online profile. On top of that the food was pathetic. Tiny portions. We ordered a scramble with spinach and counted 4 leaves. The quiche was made fresh, huh? Oh I see why, it wasn't a quiche but rather a pathetic flat frittata the thickness of a dime. I ordered a breakfast bagel with an everything bagel. I could only see sesame seeds and poppy seeds on the bagel and couple probably counted their number with my fingers. Don't believe me? I always hesitate with places like these where theres not a single employee to be found to greet or seat you, and you're expected to place your order through a QR code, but i decided to roll the dice anyway since they were dog friendly. Always trust your instincts. After about 10 mins of lingering a little to explore the menu and hope for a soul to appear I decided to use the QR code to place an order online and grab a table sit at while we wait. Not sure if theres much charm in a place like this at midday when you can see all of its flaws in broad daylight, but i dont give a sh*t as long as the food is good. Roughly 20 mins after i placed the online order, a lady that looks like shes had a rough night comes out yo the tables and asks if anyone needed anything. We tell her that we placed an order through the system and she says okay, ill let them know to bring it out to your table when its done. They just finished a big online order just now so it shouldn't be too much longer. 40 mins goes by and i decide to go up to the kitchen window and ask them myself since there were no signs of hope at the bar. The guy in the kitchen hastily hands me a brown paper bag. I ask him about the other orders that were delivered dine in style to their respective tables, after we placed our orders and sat for a while, and he tells me that if you order at the window, then they'll bring it out to you. If you place the order online then they usually pack it up to go and you have to pick it up yourself from the window. All of that would've been useful information when we finally spoke the girl that said our food would be delivered to out table. After i walked away with my bag of food, only then do i get a text telling me that its ready. I would've bet my life on the fact that our food was sitting there for quite some time and opening it up to reveal the cold, dry, sorry excuse for a $30 meal that could've easily been bested by a grab and go option at a gas station, confirmed it. This is such a cute place. We were looking for somewhere to have a coffee and kill some time. This has the best of everything! Booze, coffee and even Kiki plates for little ones. They have games to play like corn hole and connect 4 on their patio. A fantastic selection of alcohol, seltzer and beer. I can only imagine how amazing this place is when live music is going on. My friend and I visited for the first time last night after seeing that a band was playing. We had an excellent time sitting at the outdoor wooden table/benches enjoying great beverages and food, dancing on the artificial grass surfaces, spotting other friends. The friendly owner stopped by to check on the quality of our experiences and answer questions about the other musical groups scheduled that play nightly. Service was a negative zero. No host was as present to direct us of where to sit, took our order 45 minutes after we were seated...did not receive our food as we sat nearly 2 hours of waiting. Didn't receive any updates from the staff no apologies of the delay. The place was understaffed. I understand It was Mother's Day but if you don't have the staffing to handle a large number of bookings, don't do the event. The only good thing was the ambience and live music. The Negatives: They were out of Chai Tea which I wanted. They should have put something on the menu to let people know what they're out of. I ordered the braised beef breakfast burrito. At $17, it was the most expensive item on the menu. I was disappointed at the small size of the burrito. It looked like about 6" or less and It reminded me of those frozen burritos you get for about $1. I took a bite and immediately knew that this was pre-made and thrown in the panini press. The cheese was globs of melted yet cold (a sign of it being pre-made) and the meat was cold. Speaking of meat, it tasted like bland kalua pork instead of braised beef.
