Since Garlic Knots is in my neighborhood I go there about once a month with my kids but tonight I couldn't take it. The food was good, the service was good but the waitress that served us had the strongest perfume and it turned us off on our food. the perfume was cheap and cloying. Finally she had to go on break and a male server took over. We were happy because we could get rid of that smell. Well, the male server had strong cologne on as well. I have no idea what was going on up there tonight but we still smell the cologne and really not even sure what we ate. I am staying at a local hotel and The Garlic Knot was on their list. I ordered the Chicken Parmesan with Spaghetti. The restaurant has a minimum order for deliveries so I added a side salad. My order came to $16.95 with delivery so I was expecting it to be really good. I was very disappointed with the Chicken Parmesan. It was a full chicken breast with a little breading and a lot of cheese and sauce. That was a first time I have ever had a Chicken Parmesan that was not pounded out thin! I was really disappointed in my first experience with The Garlic Knot. It was recommended by my husband who has ordered lunch for his team several times. I placed my order online for pickup. My cheesy garlic knots came with no cheese, and my Mulberry Street pizza, which was supposed to be 1/2 white and 1/2 red, came with 100% red sauce. Great prices, fantastic grub, and super friendly service... That is when their staff isn't too high to remember your order from half an hour ago. It is what it is, unfortunately. We do live in the mile "high" city and getting good help working for minimum wage for a chain is tough. Okay, so I see a few haters on our local pizza joint! Please, allow me clear a few things up! First, its pizza, if you got a problem, make it yourself, it's quite easy...isn't it.. Second, these guys are consistent! The pizza is great, and they're always super nice! Ordered the Wednesday special- 2 topping Pizza with 10 free garlic knots. The pizza was soggy on the bottom and the garlic knots must've been several days old. They were so stale we put them in the oven with a pan of water to create a little moisture and they were still inedible. This is the 3rd time I've ordered from this store. I recently ordered pizza and garlic knots for takeout. When I arrived to pick up the food and pay, I was told that my pizza had been burned and that the staff was going to make me a new one. They were incredibly fast in getting a new one out to me, and on top of it all, they gave me extra garlic knots and a drink at no extra charge for my troubles! The staff took great care of me and really showed that they wanted to make it right. This is truly superior customer service and I will be coming back here as my go-to pizza spot. read more

Excellent customer care from the moment that you walk in the door. All of the staff at this restaurant acted like as if they really cared about their customers. Then came the food part. It was outstanding from the garlic knots to the pizza. We took advantage of a menu that was mailed to us with coupons and ordered a two topping large pizza with 10 garlic knots. The pizza was extraordinary. We didn't want to stop eating it. You could tell that the pizza was fresh and the dough was crispy and flavorful. The dining area with large with many seating options. Can also cater to adult customers with a good selection of alcoholic beverages. They pride themselves on catering to the entire family. They will not get my business again after what they did. I'm a nurse at a nearby nursing home (Holly/Arapahoe location) & often so busy I have to eat in the go. I ordered the 5 Borough pizza with pepperoni,?extra mushroom, black olive & extra cheese with extra sauce & an order of garlic bread with cheese & a side of marinara the middle of Nov. I ordered enough to share with my coworkers. The night I ordered the weather was snowy & icy. The restaurant sent a pizza with pepperoni, sausage & black olives with sauce splotches baked on the top of the cheese. Interesting... Anyway, I get horrible heartburn from sausage AND the grease of it when cooked on a pizza so I can't just pick it off & have everything be fine. I decided I'd just eat garlic bread that night & called the restaurant to let them know about the pizza error. I could deal with the other errors - no sauce for the garlic bread, extra pizza sauce on top of my pizza instead of under the toppings... The guy I spoke with, pretty sure it was Nick - asked if I'd like the pizza remade & brought out or a credit placed on my account. Since the weather was cruddy told him I didn't want the driver to have to come back out. He stated "and we appreciate that!" The credit was to be for the exact same pizza that I'd ordered but that had gotten made wrong. Great! Well, I called last night to redeem my "credit" for the 5 Borough guess what?! You guessed it - THEY FAILED TO PUT A CREDIT ON MY ACCOUNT!!!!!! I had spoken to Nick (again) when I called and he stated he was sorry that happened & he was going to honor it. Then, he placed me on hold to check something & then the General Manager, can't remember his name, came on the phone & stopped just short of telling me I was lying because an employee of his failed to put a note next to my name & phone number in their system. I told him I am a nursing professional that works nearby & order from them fairly often - I have no need to make this up. He told me he'd give me a good deal & let me "have" my order for 1/2 price. I argued that is not a good deal considering I trusted they would honor the credit I was told I would have on file and remake what I initially paid for but did not get! The GM told me "well, you got to eat the other pizza...sooo...you got a good deal!" Umm, NO I DIDN'T because I couldn't eat it! I told him that and he did not give a rat's behind. I told him I would not be giving Garlic Knot any more business (nor will my coworkers I regularly work with btw) if they can't honor their promise & make their mistake right. He told me he was by selling me another pizza at 1/2 price. (Gee, thanks.) I told him the situation about the bad weather & icy roads that night & I didn't want to have the driver come back out. His reply? We prefer to correct the situation right away so things like this don't happen. He'd rather risk the safety of his drivers over giving a customer a credit folks...!!!! (I think that speaks volumes.) Love Garlic Knot's food but the General Manager's attitude SUCKED. Such a shame. I turned right around as soon as I got off the phone with that arrogant prick and ordered from Jet's. Their food is AWESOME & customer service was fantastic!!!!!! Ordered takeout for the first time today- cheese pizza and spaghetti & meatballs. Everything was really good. Pizza had nice flavor. The meatballs were very flavorful. My only complaint is that pasta dishes come with 2 garlic knot rolls, also good, that are packed to go in same container as the pasta, so they were a little soggy by the time I got home. The Five Boroughs pizza allows you to pick 5 toppings. The crust the right thickness to be tasty but not overwhelm the pizza. One house salad is enough for two people to share. This is one of my favorite pizza places! read more

We tried this location after having gone to one farther north previously. We have been here at least three times in the last 6 months. The staff here was very friendly, we received quick service and the pizza was delicious and exactly as ordered each time. We also ordered the garlic knots every time and while they are a bit messy they are also quite good. They have beer and wine along with tea and soda. Like so many places the tea wasn't that good so order anything else and you'll be happy! Great for eating in or take out. read more

It's the best tasting delivery pizza in the area, particularly in comparison to the national pizza chains they share a strip mall with. The manager goes above and beyond to proactively address issues *before* they become issues. I heard from a friend that The Garlic Knot is the best pizza in Colorado, so when I saw a flyer for their new opening sitting on the counter at work, I had to give it a try. I ordered the garlic knots and a specialty pizza, a white pizza with spinach, tomatoes, & garlic. First, for the garlic knots... They were great! A good consistency and flavor. They went too quickly. Second... The pizza. The crust was great, I loved the crispness of it, but the flavor was just okay. I think it would have tasted better if the garlic was baked under the cheese rather than put right on top. The service was good, though if I came again I would probably order to-go. The only complaint I have is that my water was refilled with vitamin water, which I'm not a fan of. Will definitely come here again for takeout. Overall, would rate this a 3.5. read more

This place is pretty ok. Got the eggplant parm delivered and it was good but kind of generic, nothing really stood out and there was a lot of breading and cheese. We think the pizza is really good, my son loves the white pizza and we all love the garlic knots. We ordered almost $200 order for our street at 2:30 yesterday for a 5 pm delivery. It was 30 min late. Nice guy but no "hey sorry about that." Not a big deal except the kids were all starving and ready to go trick or treating. I was responsible for all the kids having dinner before stuffing themselves with candy and thought ordering at 2:30 would be plenty of time on a holiday. A coupon or "sorry" would have gone a long way especially with 4 other families waiting... so my lesson learned if we go back is to just pick it up ourselves. :( read more

After an attitude filled discussion with server...she actually went back and asked the "cook" and low and behold.....done... (Maybe not a kitchen issue?) Absolutely ridiculous that they will not deliver to a place that is ten minutes away from this location. Garlic knots are great, pizza is decent, pasta was a bit dry.
