I had one thought on the type of tanks I wanted, but after discussions with the D&D folks, I went with their recommendation and have not been sorry. A few years after the generator installation, I installed a pool and had D&D provide a hook up to the tanks for the pool heater. Because of the pool install I had to have them disconnect and reconnect to propane supply lines. Their installation & maintenance team is very competent, and the office has been very pleasant to work with by answering all my questions. He checked his schedule and booked an appointment for me to have a guy come to the house for a site inspection the next week. The site inspector showed up right as scheduled and looked my situation over. He advised me what I needed for my application, and answered all questions I had. He sent his findings to the office and within two days I received a detailed estimate via email. I was ok with the estimate and called the office with the go ahead. The lady scheduled me for the following week. The installer showed up right on time as scheduled and performed the installation. I was very pleased with his work. The first of several calls were frustrating due to the automated system and long wait times, and it was 48 hours before they called me back. But that was quickly forgotten thanks to the excellent follow-through. Samantha called me back and was incredibly friendly, patient, and efficient in setting up the service appointment. She made the whole process smooth and stress-free. Then Gerald, the technician, came out and truly impressed me. He was thorough and professional in the completion of the work. He addressed the wait due to staff training and professionally represented the company throughout. He carefully inspected everything and made sure the tank, lines, and hot tub heater hookup were all safe and working perfectly. Gerald is the perfect example of great on-site service. There was a small mix-up with the customer service staff when one person went on vacation. As the head of a couple of small divisions, I know that can happen when a key person is missing. No worries though. They were so gracious and wonderful to help get us back on track. The tank looks amazing. They put it in a spot where it is not visible and they set it up nicely. We use it for cooking, and we have had absolutely no problems. In fact, I just bought another home in St Augustine and will be calling them to get a propane tank set up for our gas stove and an outdoor kitchen.

The price quote per gallon is competitive however after all the extra charges that they add for delivery makes their LP gas out of line. Next they'll probably charge for just calling for LP fill up.
