We were looking for a family friendly live show in NYC and this was a fun activity to take our kids (ages 6, 9, and 11) to check out. We purchased tickets online before coming, but we saw that there were a decent number of discounted tickets on TKTS on the day we went. The theater is small and felt very intimate, and we had seats in the 3rd row. They have an opportunity to get a photo inside a bubble for $20. It turned out ok; in the future I'd probably just upload a pic to chatGPT and ask to put us in a bubble. The guy who hosted the show holds a few guiness world records (largest bubble made and most people in a bubble) so he had some solid bubble master credentials. His uncle also provided some comedy. The last portion there was a really random laser show that a women did; it was high energy and lots of strobing lights (so be warned if you're sensitive to lights or loud music). The best part was the audience interaction and our family was able to go up and participate, which totally made my kids entire NYC trip (especially when they gave each of them a bubble toy afterwards as a thanks for participating). I was not sure what to expect for a show just about bubbles but it was really more than that! Deni is really interactive with the audience and the kids loved that they were allowed on stage to be part of the show with him. I liked how personal the show felt as he shared how he got into the family business and honored his father and the rest of his family throughout the program. Super talented showman and it was both entertaining and engaging. Plus the other ladies around me couldn't help but remark how cute Deni is too so that kept them glued to their seats and continue watching the stage along with their kids too. Most of the audience was children between 3 and 11 years old but I came here with my little sister , I am 24 and my sis was 14 but we still had an amazing time. Very memorable and the lady performing made it very good. Her name was Melody Yang. The show was interactive and great pacing. Melody Yang really is genuine and she was doing it to make good memories for the children. She is An angel. There were tons of bubbles and I really will cherish the time I had. Who could have thought that my whole family enjoyed them too, more than my nephew. Located in Midtown Manhattan, this place is a convenient location. You could reach by subway or Uber/Taxi. When you book online, you just need to pick up the ticket at the box office window half an hour prior to the show time. As any other Broadway show, sometimes they check bags. Before they start, any parents or kids could take a picture on the stage. They could go inside the bubbles. You could pay for $20 for the picture. Deni Yang, the young guy who played the bubbles is currently hold two of Guinness World of Records . He had 181 people inside one giant bubble. He played bubbles mixed with smokes and lights. He also had few kids to join him on the stage and played bubbles. Such fun time for kids. The show runs about 60 minutes. After the show, you could purchase the bubbles. I thought this would be dreadful to sit through as an adult but it was so cool and entertaining. The guy that does the bubbles Really loves what he does and you can tell. I suggest sitting a few rows back and not directly in the front so you can watch the movies that play on the screen explaining certain portions of his life and his accomplishments. Part of the traveling Yang group that specializes in many bubble creations, with half live Broadway show and half interactive theater. It is very suitable for kids seven years and under. It's a pretty small theater so seats fill up fast. Tickets can be purchased at discounted rates as long as you do your online search, young children can purchase lap seats as they will be on their feet most of the time. Be prepare to bring extra cash as there will be photo opts with the bubble maker, and snacks available for purchase. 1.5 hrs goes by really fast and it's well worth it, a great experience for the entire family. read more

Middle way in the show there was a lazer show that was kinda cheesy but it was still awesome to see. Bubbles bubbles everywhere! I sucked for the bubble picture before the show started. I didn't care about the picture, but I just wanted to be in the bubble that surrounded my body. At the end of the show, Melody Yang stayed behind to take pictures with audience. When I left the show, I ran into Duane Reade to buy a bottle of bubbles so I can travel back in time to when I was a kid with no worries, blowing bubbles like no tomorrow. This show is performed by a rotating lineup of a member of the Yang family. One the night that we went it was Ana Yang (the mother of the family) who was very pleasant with a good sense of humor. The Yangs have developed their own bubble solution formulas which allow them to perform a great variety of tricks. They create different colored bubbles of different densities that endlessly float, they put bubbles inside bubbles, make bubbles of various shapes and even giant bubbles that can engulf several audience members at once. The show is a visual treat. At certain points in the show, they even shoot out flurries of bubbles into the audience. I only went because I was able to get discount tickets to this show. This show is wack. The only way to really enjoy the show is if you are lucky enough to get picked to participate in the activities on stage. Also your seat should be positioned at least closer to the front or towards the center so you can pop the bubbles when they fly through the air. I'm surprised at the amount of low-star ratings here. I got some discounted tickets for the family and from the countless shows we've been to over the years (from the circus to train rides with Santa to Sesame Street live) - this was the first time my kids were totally enthralled and engrossed and mesmerized from start to finish. Yes - the pre-recorded videos border on insane (bubbles are NOT the most important and precious item on our planet - no matter how much acid you've taken) but the show keeps moving at a steady pace and the cynical and bitter adult in me got a kick out of seeing one kid wipe out on stage and fall right into the bubble solution since he was a brat and kept popping the bubble that Melody was trying to surround the 4 kids in. Perfect entertainment for the 4 to 6 year old crowd, no doubt. (And the last Matrix-type segment that consisted of lasers and techno blasting was cool even for us old folks.) read more

How could you NOT want to be surrounded by pretty bubbles?! I liked this fun show!! You get to see all kinds of tricks with bubbles, can go in a bubble (they only choose kids to do that though, sigh) and see a laser light show (with bubbles mixed into it!). Even though most people would consider this a show for just kids, I had a lot of fun during the show. The show is all about imagination, interaction, and silliness. For those of you who have not forgotten what it is like to be a kid, this show is an excellent way to spend an evening. Great show! 10 of us came into NYC from NJ. There was a parking garage right across the street so that was perfect and so easy to get in and out of the city. The show started off a bit slow. My 2 year old needed more action. My 4 year old loved it and even went on stage. It was fabulous. One thing is if you are the first 4-6 rows in the middle you get hit hard with all the bubbles while the sides hardly got much. My 2 year old wasn't happy that he couldn't pop a lot of bubbles since we sat 2nd row on the side. We ended up moving and he was happy. It was a great show and I'm glad we came. read more

The show revolves around Ana Yang, she is supposedly the best female bubble artist ever. She broke multiple Guiness World Records. However, this show, did not do her justice. She basically blew bubbles with giant wands. I could probably do that. The best part was at the end with the lasers and like a gazillion bubbles flying around the theater. DO NOT get sucked into buying the "Me in a Bubble" souvenir photo for $20. It is a total ripoff, just photoshop yourself in a bubble for FREE! Again, kids will absolutely love it, but it's not really worth the money to see it. read more

So I must say, if you care at all about taking your child to a show and hoping they will like it, this is the show. It is truly wonderful seeing the kids excitement, like no circus or show I have ever experienced compares to this in terms of constant excitement for the kids. So here are some helpful hints at least in this venue... 1) While the kids in the front 2 rows do get the most bubbles they can chase and pop (which they love to do); it is very difficult to get the whole experience of the show... think front row of a very large movie screen but worse; there is so much to the production going on at all times, you really miss a lot by being close. The best seats are going to be the center section, row 7 or behind row 7. If you are going to be left or right of stage you want to be back further than that.... but most all seats are great 2) Don't feel like you can't do the cheap tickets. I can tell you for sure, next time I will not spend the extra money so long as I can dictate where I am seated that is not close, all the seats as you move further back have a great perspective of the stage without feeling like your far away. I sprung for front row center and aside from the fact that my son had a blast trying to pop the bubbles that flew out, it was not worth double the price. 3) If you do sit close, be sure you are not going to get bitchy/fussy over being bombarded by lots of bubbles spilling over the stage. Whatever they use to make the bubbles is not like what we're accustomed to, they are not soap-based so when they dry you are not left with some sticky mess although I'd probably forgo wearing your new mink 4) They open the theater 1/2 hour before the show so come early and get your kid's picture taken inside of a bubble BEFORE the show, if you wait til after you'll be there a while; they don't do a good job of informing people you can do it before the show starts so it is not very crowded prior to curtain. I am looking forward to going a second time and sitting further back so I can see the show from the right perspective (further back). read more

Okay-If your age is toddler through about 12 years old-you will really like this show. If you are older, you may get bored at many parts. We came here for our 7 year old sons birthday (and also with our 10 year old son). He loved it but our 10 year old was looking for more action at times. The bubble action and music is generally very good but there are too many videos during the show. The end of the show was my favorite part as she does an "aerobics laser" routine that ends with what seems like millions of bubbles pouring into the audience. Bottom line: If you have children between toddler and 12 and can get discount tickets, it is worth attending. No? Ok he'll just show you 3. Sorry if you were expecting live feats of bubble artistry, this show is all about the videos. In between some of this, he did bubbles which were actually pretty great! But the stage production wasn't the quality the ticket price (even the discounted ticket price) should come with. The times when tons of bubbles were blowing out into the crowd were awesome, the kids went nuts. During my show when the kids went on stage I was pretty mortified for them. The Gazillion Bubble Show is fun, no doubt about it. Melody is great at blowing all kinds of crazy bubble goodness. I really like the gassy looking ones (maybe it is liquid nitrogen or something?). The best parts are definitely the acts where she is just straight up doing bubble tricks on stage such as somehow injecting bubbles into bigger bubbles, putting up huge bubbles that fill up the stage, and other cool tricks like doing different colors, and blowing gas into bubbles. I think the show could really use more just raw bubble tricks like this. -1 star: too many cheesy video interludes. I came here to see live bubble action, not trippy semi-natural videos about how magical bubbles are. -1 star: Not enough bubble trick action. There are definitely some good tricks like mentioned above, but I really think the show needs more. Maybe take down the videos and laser gimmicks and instead have a second bubble master do more cool tricks, that's what we're here for. Overall I'd say the show would be fun to see once, especially if you have kids, and can get discount tickets. I was able to get discount tickets on Livingsocial with a promo code for about ~$35. Such a great show, both for children and adults! The host, Ana, is very sweet and great with the children. See asks for volunteers a few times during the show, so your child may have a chance to be on stage! They even pre-arrange for one child with a birthday to be a special participant, so inquire with the box office beforehand for more details. There are lots of bubbles during the show, hence the name, so be prepared to get a little wet and sticky. The best seats are probably in rows 3 and 4 of the center orchestra because many of the larger bubbles float right over your head before breaking. Rows 1 and 2 are good too, but it looked like those people were getting soaked :) The theatre is small and during 2 or 3 segments, bubbles fly throughout the theatre. But if you want your child to be able to touch the majority of the bubbles, sit in the first few rows of the center orchestra. The theatre "prohibits" children under 4 years of age, but I saw a lot of small toddlers, even carriages. The staff may be lax about that rule, but there are segments of the show where the lights go out, loud music blares and bright lights shine...so keep that in mind for younger toddlers. Before and after the show, you can buy branded bubble toys (reasonably priced) and even take a photo inside a real bubble!!! (for $20) Overall, a great show. I do think it's worth it to pay for seats closer to the front of the stage. I also think stage left got more bubble action. They don't allow you to take pictures, at all, and they're really strict about it. Get there early to take a picture in a bubble, it's really cool and the kids love it. I came to Gazillion Bubble Show through a Yelp opportunity. This is a family friendly performance, and if you have children under 10, you should probably work this into your schedule. Based on the name, I thought this was a gimmick, but apparently the show's been around for almost a decade. The day I went, the show focused on Melody Yang, a cute 22-year old who's been blowing bubbles and performing since she was 4. She and her family have a few Guinness World Records for bubbles. The show is fun, very visual, and interactive. Melody did some cool things with bubbles on stage, making bubbles, bubble inside of bubbles, bubble with smoke inside of them, cube-shaped bubbles, etc. She brings a few kids up on stage to put them in bubbles, and there's a laser show too. Even though I might have been the only child-less adult in the place, my friend and I had a great time. Highly recommended for families. And if you can, get seats in the middle section in the first 5 rows... you'll get more bubbles that way. :) read more
