I was in need of a new hair stylist and found this place thru yelp. I made an appointment through their website which was super easy and it shows you everything they offer and how much it costs. I scheduled an appointment with Jessica and let me tell you she did an amazing job with my hair. I told her exactly what I was going for and gave her a reference picture and she followed it to a T. She washed my hair and while doing so she even gave a little head massage which was so relaxing and appreciative. She was very kind and understanding with the hair style I was going for. Although the parking is small on their lot, I believe there's street parking. The inside of the salon was very nice and clean, they had good music playing and it was nice and fresh inside with this hot weather. Old post-I had text Silvia (the owner) to ask some questions prior to booking on the Square Go application, she responded with she was fully booked in March and wouldn't have any availability. Yet, the Square Go application had multiple appointments available. She seemed kind/cool person during the two appointments I had with her thought I had found a new salon but nope. Extremely disappointed with how my appointment was handled. I booked my appointment on April 20 specifically to secure a date and time that worked with my schedule, only to have it canceled later without any real effort to offer a workable alternative. Jessica later texted me saying she could not take me on the date I booked, even though the appointment was originally accepted. It is frustrating that an appointment can be confirmed and then canceled after I already planned my schedule around it. I also reached out directly to Jessica to try to resolve the issue and never received a response before the cancellation was finalized. The lack of communication and follow-up is unacceptable and left me with no solution after planning weeks in advance. They have a strict cancellation policy for clients, but it feels very one-sided when the business can cancel accepted appointments without offering proper solutions or consistency. I'm giving 1 star because 0 is not an option. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this place. Please think twice before booking here. read more

I came in with the goal of going lighter and showed several reference photos of the look I wanted. The colorist told me I would still have money pieces, even after I mentioned that I had cut my bangs. She did mention the color wouldn't be as blonde as the picture, which I was okay with. However, the final result looks nothing like the photos I showed her. The inspiration pictures had thicker, more noticeable highlights, while mine are very small and subtle. I also walked out with darker hair than what I came in with, which was disappointing since my goal was to go lighter. I would've been okay with it but I was annoyed bc if a client were to cancel 1 hr before there would've been a cancellation fee. Back in January I had a haircut appointment with Victoria! She wanted me to be happy with the outcome of my hair but since I had at home dye that had been 6+ months grown out - she suggested to tone it closest to my natural hair. I had never felt my hair so healthy after a cut until this day. She was so kind and easy to talk to about my hair goals and what steps I needed to reach my desired hair. Found this place through TikTok and wanted a haircut. Haircut was okay but unsure what shampoo was used during the beginning bc the stylist mentioned build up but I literally showered the other day and no buildup but she couldn't even do a blow up bc of the buildup. I went to the restroom after and it felt like I had gunk inside my hair I showered immediately getting home. For a simple haircut it's a bit overpriced so wouldn't come back again. I don't even know where to start.. It was just one bad experience after another. This might be the worst run business in LA. Highly unprofessional. Let's start with my sister.. She went there first to get her hair colored. They had Stephanie do her hair and said she was "training" but still charged her the full price of $130. My sister has a bob haircut and just needed a single process color so to make her pay $130 for that is absurd on top of it being done by someone who is incompetent. Stephanie messed up my sisters hair and didn't even wash it and let my sister go home with dye still in her hair and on her scalp. I was shocked that anyone even allowed her to leave like that.. I don't know why I didn't take it as a red flag, but I saw an ad on Instagram for Alondra and still wanted to give them a try. I called them that same day & talked to the owner. She went over extensions pricing & details with me and said she would message me more details since she was driving, but I never received anything from her. So I DM Alondra on Instagram and show her pics of what I'm looking to get done to see if it's possible for her to do. I wanted to try a new hair color/design with extensions. I message back & forth for 5 days just one message every other day because she took forever to respond to my messages. So when she asked for a deposit to buy the extensions for me when she didn't even know what color hair I have, I asked to speak with her over the phone to make sure I knew what I was paying for. Especially since extensions are not cheap and my hair was probably going to cost $1000 (just estimating off the prices listed on the website since I wasn't actually given a price). So she told me to book a consultation with her. So I booked a consultation and sent her a message saying I was looking forward to chatting with her. Even sent her the date & time. On the day of the consultation, I had a lot of things come up last minute but I was looking forward to meeting with her so I made sure to schedule everything around the consultation. Right before we were supposed to chat, I noticed she finally read my message 2 hours prior & didn't respond. So I wait 15 mins for her to call me & she doesn't so I message her if we're still on? No response. 30 mins past by and still nothing. So I message her again letting her know everything that happened and that I no longer would like to work with her. Not that I was expecting a response, but an explanation or apology would've been nice. I'm just really disappointed in this service because I had high hopes for them. They should really hire a front desk person because it seems like scheduling is not working for them on their own. The employees all seem stressed out and that's not a good state to be in when doing peoples your hair. This business needs help and Jesus because some of them just lack morals! read more

I had scheduled my appointment over a week ago, to get my hair done for my sons graduation today! I had an appointment scheduled with Victoria, when I show up, the shop was closed. I called and texted and was sent to voicemail. When she finally responded an hour later, she claims she was very sick, but offered to service me later that day. If she was "so sick" like she claims, why would she try to service me later in the day. I understand if people need to cancel, but text or call the night before. I missed out an entire day of work! They have a strict cancellation policy for customers, but okay for them to do it.
