I had such a wonderful experience at Ann's Salon! Booking my appointment was super easy. I phoned Ann and booked me on the day I requested. When I arrived, I was greeted by the friendliest ladies. Ann came over right away to ask about the haircut and color I wanted. I showed her a picture, and she gave great advice on which color would look best with my hair (a mix of gray and previously colored hair). When Ann started working on my hair, I immediately noticed how gentle her hands were (first time I experience this as I've been through many salons). She worked so smoothly it felt like her hands were just gliding through my hair and scalp. The color she used didn't sting my scalp or hurt my eyes, which I really appreciated. While waiting for my color to set, Ann suggested I get a manicure and pedicure. I'm so glad I said yes! Teresa came over to start on my nails, and later, when I moved to the pedicure chair, she continued with the same light, careful touch. Even when she was removing my ingrown nails, I felt no pain or discomfort but just total relaxation. Very unprofessional, and rude to the customers. All I asked for was a root touch up. I had already blonde hair. They touch on my previous blonde hair and left with hair that is lighter in the middle compared to the roots and the ends and I also had a streak of a dark color as you could see in the picture. They told me to come back to fix it then it was patchy as if I done it myself not a salon quality. When I asked the owner to fix it for me she started taking rudely and said "I don't have energy to deal with this" I was charged $210, $150 the first time and another $60 the second time. I also asked how she was going to fix my hair the second time, and she kept saying: "I will see". I ended leaving with patchy roots, uneven, and not blended. read more

This is the 2nd time I've come to this salon. The first time, they did a great job on my nails. Great experience. This time.. not so much. For one, I originally had 2 ladies working on me. 1 on my toes and the other on my hands. The lady is doing my hands starter to remove my gel polish and then up and left with no words (as I'm typing this, the gel is still on my nails) to start working on someone else. I have the other lady doing my toes. Stabbing me and scratching every part of my toes. Not once has she talked to me. Cut my nails without asking if I wanted a cut or just file. The heel scrub? Nonexistent.. just swiped that baby across my heel once. Tossed the gel polish book on my lap.. again, no words spoken. Now for my gel manicure.. again, no words. My manicure took no more than 10 mins. She didn't use clean cutters. The massage was just a dot of lotion and a wipe on the hand. read more

After much research, reading reviews, and making some calls, I made an appointment. I was there bright and early to meet my new stylist, Elaine. I showed her pictures and gave her an idea of what I wanted. Wow!! I could not have been more satisfied about the results! And they don't overcharge either! I'll be honest, I went to this salon because I wanted to save some money. They offer women haircuts at $15 which is pretty rare these days and I felt comforted because of all the great reviews. Unfortunately I did not get what I asked for. I asked Ann to cut off 2 inches and that I wanted my hair cut straight, not in a V. Well she cut about 4 inches and my hair looks like a mess from the back. There were not other people waiting for a cut so I am not sure why she did such a poor job. Unfortunately, I wish I could give this salon more than one star but I can not simply because my hair was left two different colors. I understood that my hair would be a little light in some places but I was not expecting to see such a drastic difference in my hair like this let alone not even bothering to blend it to make it suit better. I had to order myself some hair dye to fix this myself. Not only did they leave my hair looking like a complete mess BUT they didn't even bother to check on my hair not one bit without me asking them to. They seemed too immersed in their own conversations and bleaching their own hair while "tending" to me. A huge complete waste of my time and money. The lack of professionalism was appalling to me. My mom and i went in for haircuts. My mom had Ann (i think?) do her hair and she was very pleased with how it turned out and how she was treated. That said, i wanted to give this place a good review because of the quick service and ability to take in walk-ins; however I didn't get the same good experience as my mom. I was waiting for Ann to also do my hair but I was called by an older stylist. My mom and I were charged for the same price, but she got shampooed and blowdried. I was just sprayed down with water (including straight up my face) which set the tone for what treatment I was going to get. The stylist kept complaining about my hair being tangled (I have curly hair and I put product in it to keep it curled the whole day, which could have been removed if my hair was also shampooed and washed), because she was combing it with a FINE tooth comb forcefully. No wonder it would be tangled. I wanted to keep my hair's length but this stylist cut it noticeably shorter without telling me first. The most infuriating thing was instead of guiding my head gently to face different directions to allow her to cut straight, she jabbed me with her fingers to look at the direction of where she wants me to look. This happened multiple times and made me very uncomfortable. I didn't say anything because I just wanted to get away from her as soon as possible and out of respect as well since she is an older Asian woman. This salon seems to be doing a good job with Ann managing it but I hope her other stylists treat her customers same way as she does. read more

Tried to give Ann a chance on my hair with a balayage and she did not get close to the pictures I showed her. All I wanted to do was retouch my blonde balayage and she gave me this the FIRST time the first two photos were from the first time. I told her it didn't match my grown out blonde from the bottom and she said okay to come back another time for a retouch. I went once again for a second time so it can be blonde she took it out and rushed me out without drying my hair so I couldn't really tell until I went home and it was extremely brassy and yellow. Which is shown in the 3 last photos below. I called asking for a refund and only gave me half since she said it was unfair for her since her time was taken and products were used which is understandable but at the same time this is her fault if she didn't know what to do and way out of her limits. This was horribly done not blended and needs to be color corrected elsewhere. PLEASE DO NOT COME HERE FOR YOUR HAIR. $220 for pure disappointment. I went here to get a haircut due to the reviews and seems to get a good haircut at a cheap price (didn't want to spend no more than 20 dollars). I told lady I wanted bangs and messy leveled layers (Because I have thick and lots of hair, so layers help take the weight off my head). Even showed a picture to the lady how I want my bangs to look and how the layers on my hair should appear. I noticed she took a good look at it and was sure what to do. Before the cut, I mention to lady no blow drying because I dont want to pay extra and plus I was going home to shower anyways. She nodded and seem to understand. Then asked if I have shampooed my hair I said no, but since my hair was long and thick I didn't mind paying the 5 dollars extra to get my hair wet. After she was done layering my hair, the lady forgot to cut my bangs. After I told her, I noticed she cut my bangs really quick not cutting it fully and didn't good job on my bangs (in the end I had to go home and cut some excessive hair parts for my bangs. Yea I didn't do a pretty good job on that either) And once the lady was done cutting she asked me if she can style it for me. I said no. Then insisted I should style so I can see how it would look. I told her no for the 2nd time and told her my reason that i would go home and shower. But then she continued on saying you should see it. So the next thing I noticed she went on to grab the blow dryer. So overall, I did not get the haircut I asked for. I was ok with the hair cut but not very happy overall, mostly with how she left my bangs (ended up cutting some more front hair for my bangs area at home then I was happy with it). Thinking going to this salon I would pay less than 20 for a haircut, but came out paying 30+tip. That was the price for haircut I wasn't very fond of, 5 for shampooing and another 10 blowdrying and styling my hair I did not want. I tipped her because she did take her time at the beginning. Would I come back? No, to know that I have mention to the lady about 'no' blowdrying or styling on 3 different occasions. But till went on to doing it and still charging me for it. Without response, Ann, the owner yelled at her staff, a manicurist that she needs to cancel the pedicure appointment with this Vietnamese lady, because I already booked an appointment for a white man customer. No greeting, no apology, no explanation for the cancellation at all from the owner!!! Another chance / hope for this shop in the pandamic ... Last week, my mom called ahead of time, got her scheduled at 4p for haircut on Saturday afternoon. My mom came around 15 minutes early. Same attitude treatment from the owner, Ann. No greeting, one question from her that if she (my mom) has an appointment. My mom wasn't even finished saying that she had a 4p ... Ann raised arms, give a talk-to-the-hand sign, and turned away from my mom. No invitation, no kind comments, just told my mom to sit and wait. No need to be polite to certain customers! My mom sat and waited until 4:15p. She then asked how long will she be able to get her haircut. Maybe this shop's owner wasn't used to talk face to face with some customers, she didn't even reply to my mom, she turned and called out to the hairdresser to "bring this lady in". I thought everyone needs a second chance, any business earns a chance to survive, especially in this pandemic. I assume this shop has enough loyalty customers, no need for anymore. read more
