I calmly explained that it wasn't professional to speak to a customer that way and that if she wasn't able to fix my nail, she shouldn't have attempted it in the first place. Rather than handling the situation professionally, she raised her voice and yelled at me in front of everyone in the salon. No customer deserves to be treated that way. Mistakes happen, and I understand that not every service goes perfectly. However, the way I was treated was completely unacceptable. There are very few massage therapists that truly 'get it'. Bella indeed has healing hands! I had initially scheduled a massage and facial appointment for 5/30 and all seemed good. Not even 24 hours later, I get a text that my appointment was in a day, when I was flying out of town. No biggie -- she removed that mistaken appointment as soon right after I texted her. But then she cancelled my 5/30 appointment a few minutes later. Luckily, I purchased through Groupon and was able to get a refund -- this is important since I do NOT recommend ever giving this business your credit card number. When 5/30 rolled around, I received a text that I had an appointment in four hours. She re-added my appointment to her booking platform that same day, so I used that link to cancel. I received a text saying I'd be charged $25. She only backed down when I sent screenshots of the cancellations they initiated (and probably since they didn't have my payment info on file). No apologies ever in this process. I also don't think texts from their main number are automated like they make them seem due to grammatical errors ("press C for confirming"), so I must block them to avoid getting these wild promotional texts.
