So where do I begin if I could give a negative star I would i set up appointments with this shop with two different people one for my nails (diamond/Renee) and one for my eyelashes (jazlyn) when I showed up for my nail appointment I waited almost 30 minutes because she was getting a weave put in after waiting for the appointment I made days ago she stopped Right before the frontal was done and decided to start my nails from the beginning I had been growing my nails out so they needed a lot of attention (hence the price) there was no drill file used it was all by hand which I thought was weird but I gave her the benefit of the doubt I was falling asleep but I also elaborated and told her I had been on flights all morning and I was super tired so if it wasn't going to look right to please rearrange me or ask me to set the way that she needed me to she agreed... I was here on vacation let me mind you so I really wanted my stuff to look A1 that is why I went to that shop and that is why I waited to get to Atlanta to do my nails and my lashes when I was almost done she immediately told me to wait to pay n to go straightTo the lash lady and if she charged me a late fee that she would take it out of my nail deposit .... they both agreed that it would be smart since they were in a rush to leave , finish my nails while she was doing my lashes (bad idea) being in the salon for almost 7 hours after my lashes and nails were done i was so tired I paid and left got to my car and looked at my nails very closely and was very disappointed and immediately went back upstairs(story below ) , I also didn't take the time to go through my lashes and make sure they were done right I felt like they looked cute But I really couldn't figure out why my eyes were watering for an entire hour LOL never happened beforebut when I got to the house I noticed all the clumped up bundles and glue that was caked on my eyes I'm very disappointed with this experience I will never get my nails anything down there again I canceled my waxing the next day because I refuse to give that shop any more of my money... In conclusion I did not leave the shop I immediately went back upstairs and talk to the nail tech and explain to her what was wrong as she agreed with somebody there as a witness that was doing her hair we agreed on half payment returned I was a good sport about it and said go ahead and finish your hair and send me my money when you are done.... that never happen pictures are attached as well as the response from the nail tech When I asked for a partial refund I paid $120 for my nails and $100 from my eyelashes absolutely unacceptable!!!!! Not to mention the $25 deposit to each of them on top of my payment That they did not remind me of that should've came out of my total cost read more

Let me start off by saying, I took A microblading/microshading class with the glam shop & it was amazing!!! It was well worth it. Time & money well spent. if I had to do it all over again I would. The instructor Trina was great! Very detailed, fun, professional & the techniques she taught was on point! They also certify you to do lashes. Came in for my microblading/shading class on Saturday feeling really doubtful not knowing what to expect , not knowing how I was going to do, & not feel very confident at all but hear me out when I tell you Trina was the absolute BEST when I say BEST I mean BEST I love EVERYTHING about her from her vibe to the way she teaches she makes sure you understand EVERYTHING before leaving the class I had an amazing time I didn't even want to leave lol but I definitely had a great time I walked out ready to start . I purchased a concealer color wheel and the concealer brush from her online and the brush broke the same day! I had to super glue the brush back together not only that the concealer is trash. It has texture like little balls in it. I literally gave to warm the product up on my hand to get rid of most of the texture. A complete waste of 45 dollars and total trash. read more

The stylist here are really good when it comes to the latest trends. However, this is my third time and I'm not sure yet if the focus is healthy hair or just bomb trendy hair. So I have not given up my stylist that I go to that keeps my hair healthy. I come here when I have an event or party to go to and I want something different. The shop looks industrial and has brick walls. Overall, it's just your average shop. The ladies here are nice enough though. The parking in the area is horrific if you come on the weekend around lunch time and beyond. There are a couple of paid parking lots. The one right next to it gets full so park at the old lady gang lot. Pay the ten dollars and then walk down. Also...to be fair, they have several stylist here so just do your research before coming but I've never seen anyone walk out not looking like a 10!!! read more

Tahasia was the stylist that did my hair and she was very unprofessional. I had to wait for almost two hours before she started to do my hair. And although the hair looked great when I left, I had to take it out two weeks afterwards because of the amount of pain I was in. When I took out my hair, my edges were sparse and there was an open wound in my head from the tightness of the hair. Would not recommend. read more

I will never ever book there again! My appointment was with Crystal. Her pony tail slays I can admit. BUT she burned me several times with the hot comb and did not care. Even with the blow dryer, she kept the hot blow dryer in one spot of my head as well. When I took my pony tail out, I had burns all through out my head!!!! Do not book her. This is a review on her glam class because I couldn't find a place anywhere with reviews on her class. Giving it one star because the quality on instruction was soooo disappointing! I did the micro blading class. It was like an 8 hour class where her assistant just read from the same book they gave us and when we were asking questions she was annoyed also because she didn't know the answers to them. The girl sitting next to me flew all the way from LA to this class inDC and I felt bad for her honestly. She was asking questions and the Assistant replied and said you ask to many questions frennnnnnn! And still didn't answer mind you her assistant doesn't do the micro blading or lashing ! Smh we all paid for sierra to teach the class. She came for the last 3hrs of the class and didn't teach brow mapping or anything such a waste of money it's sad she is getting over on her own people. Try a different class people ! Then at the end of the she said if you have anything negative to say about the class she said send it directly to us don't post it anywhere because they will take it down. I booked an appointment with Ms. Sierra for the microblading online for a saturday appt.. Finally excited to have my eyebrows done and I get down there on time, matter fact my appointment was at 7am on a Saturday and I got there about 6:45am. The shop was closed. I waited, but then 7am came and I called Trina (her assistant) she was coming off the exit (no problem) ATL traffic is not the best. Then came 7:25 and I was like dang, did she not say getting off the exit?? Needless to say, Trina finally popped up. We entered and 15 minutes later another appointment walked in. Thank God for the another young lady, we had a pleasant 2 hour conversation w/breakfast, because Sierra who owns and manage "The Glam Shop" was 2 hours late. The excuse people? She overslept? Really? You don't over sleep when you charging people $400.00. Conclusion, do your research and read reviews. She a nice young lady, but she needs to be very conscious about time. With that said, I will not be returning or referring any one, because apparently the tardiness is a very bad habit for Sierra and it's not a good look and my time is valuable. They are only getting one star only because they do good hair. Every time I come hair I wish I never came. All the stylist in the shop has an attitude on their face like they wish they had another job. If you have an appointment just know you will be seen 2-3 hours after your appointment. The app they ask you to download is a waste of time if they ask you to bring cash. You should not be getting your hair done and having to hear your hair stylist convo on the phone that's ghetto and unprofessional. I hate the location because of the parking. They need to have better management to improve the customer service. read more

I love my people and am always supportive of black businesses. Before I discuss the bad, I must first say that my daughter left your shop looking absolutely fabulous for her senior prom. So a big thank you for that! The ladies here are truly talented. But, ladies, if you want loyal, repeat customers, customer service MUST become your focus. My daughter made a 12:45 appointment for a high pony and make up. She was scheduled for prom photos at 5p. We left the shop at 5:30. Ri-diculous! A few tips from white businesses to keep you on schedule. Have clients book appointments with a credit card. Give them a 10 min grace period ONLY. If a client is more than 10 minutes late, then they lose the appointment AND are charged a cancellation fee. As a service provider, you must maintain your schedule. If my appointment is at 12:45, then make sure I'm being serviced no later then 1p. Now on to the make up artist. I'm not a make up artist but when someone says they want a natural look, I dont expect them to leave with their face buried under 10 lbs of make up. The make up application alone took more than 1 hour. Seriously, why? And also remember, a smile goes a LONG way in retaining customers. The hair stylists were super friendly and apologetic about the delay. The makeup artist, located on the stage, not so much. read more

So I had a 10 am appointment and my stylist was 30 mins late . When she arrived she didn't say good morning nor did she apologize for being late, she didn't even tell me she was ready for me to come sit in her chair she jus looked at me and raised her eyebrow and I jus assumed that was my Que. She wore headphones throughout my entire service and played the music so loud I could hear through the headphones which I thought was inconsiderate and unprofessional. I do like the way my hair came out but I don't think the stylist cared much about the health of my natural hair. I got braids done and she used a hot comb to straighten my hair before braiding to make the style more smooth but I'm praying I don't have heat damage, I am 100% natural and I've never used a hot comb to style my hair in my life . Needless to say I won't be returning to this salon I'm glad my hair came out nice but skills is only part of the experience, good service and punctuality is definitely important to me. read more

I went to the Glam shop a while ago after finding Daisy I'm Instagram. I booked an appointment with her on the booking website she uses. A day before the appointment, Daisy confirmed it with me via text message. When I arrived at the ship I was greeted at the door and told to wait in the back. On my way to the back i saw Daisy and was told her assistant would braid my hair down. After 2 hours of waiting , someone else's assistant notice that I hadn't been helped. She went to locate Daisy and when she returned she said Daisy went home. Of course that pissed me off . It was rude and unprofessional . Another stylist did my hair . I don't know that stylist's name but she cut every track on my expensive virgin hair making it almost impossible to use again. The hair was newly purchased . She also sewed the wefts super far apart . Every time I brushed my hair I felt like it was going to fall out . The sew in only last me 2 1/2 weeks. I also paid $150 for the hairstyle after waiting two hours and being abandoned by the stylist I set my appointment with. The shop itself was super cute but that is not how business should be handled.
