I first went here two years ago, as the church hosts a Mom-Baby group for first-time moms, sponsored by NW Community Hospital. Through it, I got to get to know other moms (who now host their own home playgroups) and talk to perinatal educators one morning a week. Those outings were extremely valuable and probably saved my sanity. (It meets every Tuesday from 10-11:30 am). The church also offers Parents' Day Out, a one-day a week Christian childcare program. Open to kids 6 mos-5 years, PDO is staffed by teachers and kids attend from 9:30-1:30. Tuition for the 9 month school year is $73/month for kids under 3 ($63/month for kids 3+). Again - a sanity saver. I'm not in the market for a church, but if I was, I'd give First Presbyterian serious consideration - mainly for the kid/family programs and ministries. The technician, Gary, kept me very well informed via telephone as to the time of his arrival. After checking with me to see if it would be OK, he actually came earlier than we originally planned. After he made an examination, he informed me that my problem was neither termites nor carpenter ants. My problem was carpenter bees. To be candid, I had never heard of carpenter bees. The best part was...I didn't really have a problem. He informed me that the bees had attempted to nest in my woodwork, found the wood not to their liking, and moved on to "greener pastures." He could have sold me a whole bunch of services that I didn't need. Yes, he could have...but he didn't. This told me that Rose Pest Solutions is a reliable, honest concern. They are a business that I would have no hesitation recommending or calling in the future if I am in need of their services.

She finds the front of the building, I let the crew of 3 in through my patio door. She then IMMEDIATELY calls her "boss" for three minutes, and then informs me she cannot clean my apartment, and to call her boss for an explanation. When I called, the gentleman I spoke to was apologetic and reasonable, but informed me the cleaners retain the right to refuse service if they think the area is too dirty to clean properly. Understandable, but in my case, absurd. The cleaner didn't even look around, and there is no way my apartment met some "uncleanable" threshold. It's pretty clear from the initial message, this cleaner didn't want to work today and found an excuse not to. I was both unhappy with and insulted by my experience with these cleaners, I strongly recommend you look elsewhere.

I decided to give them another try after getting off on the wrong foot last time. We arranged a window of 8am - 12 pm. Nobody showed up. I wasted my morning waiting. They didn't answer my calls. They didn't reply to my text. At 3:30 I got a call from someone telling me he is from West Coast Point Pest Control. I explained what happened, and that this was my second such experience with this company, so I would not be wasting my time any further. This S.O.B. had the nerve to tell me that I still need to contact the local office to close out the file. Pointe Pest Control has a terrible idea of what customer service means, and I will not be using them again or recommending them to anyone.
