Cleanliness is so important for preschoolers, and Goddard takes it seriously. But it's not just the space that's clean--the staff are cheerful, professional, and genuinely happy. And happy caregivers mean happy children. If you're a parent who sometimes struggles with "mom guilt" like I do, you'll appreciate that Goddard provides a real breakfast. Not just a snack, but a hearty morning meal. It takes the pressure off when mornings don't go as planned and you missed breakfast that morning. Goddard is not a daycare--it's a preschool. I didn't fully understand the difference until my daughter started here. In particular Ms. Tina goes above and beyond for me. I dont have facebook (FB) and other than the office sending an email or the teachers putting a message on the app, all communication about (for example) spirit week, holidays, birthdays, etc. is done via FB. But Ms. Tina takes her time to text me every single message. She also checks in if she feels my son is having an off day. Her kindness has made me and my kids feel very special. Of course Ms. Danielle is also wonderful and always so kind and Ms. Jayla has even been to some of the kids birthday- she truly loves kids- so they are all amazing. They give birthday gifts, holidays gifts, etc. that THEY PURCHASE. Above and beyond. Ms. Iku and Ms. Bow are also wonderful to my daughter, though i dont have the same interactions. Ill just say they are very sweet. I dont know the other staff names, but as they run your kids back to class or up from class they are always kind. I love the security of the locked main door to get into all of the classrooms as well and the app that we utilize. Only using FB could be considered a negative to some (there are times I wish maybe there was more signage or emails sent but they also recently put up a board that they write things on which helps) but with staff like Ms. Tina it really doesnt bother me. Our children were 2 and 4 at the beginning and throughout our time at Goddard, teachers and the leadership team have been dedicated and strong partners in building a school community that is enriching, encouraging and educational for all students. Goddard teachers are exceptional, they make a concerted effort to develop relationships with their students and their families, and day to day activities are thoughtful, engaging, and focused on learning. Our kids often had much to say about what they did at school that day and we greatly enjoyed seeing their photos and the outline of their day through the Tadpoles application. The Goddard leadership team was always accessible and available. Their commitment to consistent and transparent communication was something we valued and certainly, as we progressed through different stages of the pandemic, their frequent updates and willingness to listen and discuss policies and actions taken speaks to their integrity and interest in keeping students in class and well. Beyond the staff, the Goddard facility is impeccable, it's clean and fully furnished with books, toys, and learning resources. While our time at Goddard is ending, we are so glad to share our family's experience, and encourage all seeking child care to visit, take a tour, and meet the staff.

We left the center with my oldest from 2022-2024 and my youngest, 2 yo was with her older sister at another center. Last summer/fall a lot of issues started with my youngest at the other Center and it was having a negative effect on her in multiple ways. We pulled her out and decided to return to Kindercare Elkridge and are so glad we did. Since the shutdown, management changed again and improved. Ms Christina was one of my oldests infant teachers so we already knew she cared about the kids and really knew her stuff. Ms Amanda is the new director and we love how she'd rather build the center back up slowly, even if it means keeping a few classrooms closed until she can find quality teachers, rather than rush to fill rooms with warm bodies. They're really trying to restore kindercare to its previous glory. And the 2s teachers Ms Heather and Ms Chelsea are fantastic. The issues my 2 yo was having at the other center have improved significantly and these teachers have really partnered with us to help her. But it's also clear they see and care about her as an individual. We couldn't ask for better teachers who understand this tough age and love and care about the kids like their own. She receives quality instruction in a nurturing environment and has even been branching out and trying new foods thanks to their provided lunches! For a little more money than we were paying at our previous center (where only snacks were provided and most were just processed carbs), now she gets breakfast, lunch and snack provided, with a lot of variety and they actually cook stuff on site. We're so glad we returned. It felt like coming back home.

We have had great experiences in all those years..... until the last two months. The director and the assistant director resigned to move on in the careers with in a few weeks or each other and subsequently and seemingly with out support from KinderCare corporate Teacher after teacher has been leaving the center and this evening when my wife arrived to pick my son up she was met by people from the state of Maryland telling her that the centers license has been revoked and they are being shut down. As of tomorrow we are with out daycare for the foreseeable future.

While the Primeron can reply to my review saying they've "strengthened and improved their communication" it is apparent from hearing from other families they haven't. Responses to Yelp reviews are purely for their image as admin at the Primeron does not respond nearly as fast or as professional to attending families.

In particular, the director, Kaela, has been responsive, approachable, and genuinely invested in building strong relationships with families. She has taken the time to listen to concerns, make herself available when needed, and even helped establish a parent partnership group (similar to a PTO), which has been a meaningful way for families to stay engaged and connected. Like any organization, occasional issues may arise, but in our experience, the leadership team has handled matters professionally and with care. Some concerns (such as those related to voucher programs) may be tied to broader administrative systems rather than the on-site leadership. I have great relationships with many family members, and have never had issues making my payments, via the Daycare Family Works app. We can tell that Kaela and the leadership team prioritize and value family partnerships: this is why they have connected parents together through family days, created summer camps, spirit weeks, and a parent partnership group. I plan to be a part of the Primeron family until my child ages out! Overall, we feel supported, valued, and confident in the care our child receives. We appreciate the dedication of the staff and leadership team and are grateful to be part of this community.

I loved this place and highly recommend it. We only stopped going because we moved out of the area and the daily commute would've been an hour one way.

My youngest started after she was three until she started kindergarten that fall. The older two were able to attend the summer program. The director of the preschool program was very involved in the day to day happenings at the center. I was able to be flexible and bring the children in during transitioning them into the program 2-3 days a week. I was grateful to have such caring and efficient teachers with my three children. My kids enjoyed being there in the learning environment and making new friends. We had a great experience at Severna Park Children's Centre and we continue to recommend them to our friends.
