Our two children, ages 3 and 1, have been attending The Goddard School on Gattis School since September 2025, and our only regret is not starting here sooner. We previously attended another daycare from infancy, and the difference has truly been night and day. The Goddard School has been an exceptional experience for our family. The front office team, Sarah, Amanda, Elsa, and Maria, are incredibly attentive and organized while still maintaining a warm, personal touch. They know every child by name and always greet us with genuine kindness. It has gotten to the point where our 3-year-old insists on stopping by the front office to say goodbye before we leave each day. We cannot say enough wonderful things about the teachers. Our 1-year-old started in the infant class with Ms. Lacey and Ms. Lizz, who created the sweetest crafts and clearly care deeply for the children. They supported us through developmental transitions such as dropping naps and moving away from the bottle with guidance and flexibility, never pressure. She is now in the First Steps class with Ms. Angie and Ms. Kat, who go above and beyond in celebrating holidays and milestones. We especially appreciate the adorable photos they share. Day to day, they keep the toddlers engaged with creative activities like planting, sensory play, reading, and bubbles. It is clear they put thought into making each day fun and enriching. Our 3-year-old is in the Preschool class with Ms. Lorie, Ms. Venee, and Ms. Erin, a true dream team. Ms. Lorie's experience shines through in how effortlessly she manages a classroom of 3-year-olds. Our child loves school so much that she plays "school" at home and eagerly tells us about her day. She comes home singing songs she has learned, including days of the week, months of the year, even in Spanish, and colors in both English and Spanish. We were especially impressed when she came home excited to tell us about the water cycle. We would also be remiss not to mention Paula, the chef. Both of our children started with food allergies, and she worked closely with us and the teachers to ensure they received safe, nutritious meals. That level of care and attention has meant so much to us. As a school, they consistently put the children first. For example, transitions to the next classroom are handled gradually over one to two weeks instead of all at once, which made a big difference for our family. I can't say enough nice things about RR Goddard on Gattis. Every single staff member from the front office (Ms. Sarah and Ms. Amanda) to the teachers to the kitchen staff (Ms. Paula!) and everyone in between has always been so kind and nurturing to all the kids. Both of my daughters' vocabularies have just skyrocketed since enrolling at Goddard in early 2021. One of my daughters will be starting kindergarten this fall (2023) and she's already surpassed all the milestones expected of her by the end of her kindergarten year, thanks to Ms. Katie, Ms. Dawsyn, Ms. Victoria, Ms. Laura, Mr. Chris, and so many others. Since starting in the Preschool 2 classroom and moving all the way through Kinder Readiness, our daughter has benefitted socially, emotionally, and intellectually in so many ways from her time at Goddard. She's made so many friends and is truly happy to go to school every day. Our younger daughter started in the Toddler classroom with Ms. Dani and Ms. Liz, then moved to Toddler 2 with Ms. Kerrington and Ms. Catherine when she was barely walking, but she's also grown so much. She surprises us all the time with new words, phrases, and songs she's learned. We ask her all the time who she played with at school and who her best friends are and she always replies with "Ms. Ariana and Ms. Cheyenne." Goddard has truly been a gift as the foundation for our daughters' lives and I cannot recommend them enough to any parent looking for childcare. They've been so loving and supportive to our family and we love Goddard just as much. Goddard is more than our childcare home--they're part of our family. read more

I was lucky enough to be able to be home with my daughter for her first fifteen months. We had the best time together and played every day. At fifteen months, it was more than obvious that she was ready and needed much more social interaction than just my husband and I could give her. After a grueling and painful decision to enroll her somewhere that would expose her to the age appropriate things she needed, then began the process of finding an establishment that not only challenged our intelligent 15 month old but one that made us feel as "ok" as we possibly could with leaving our one and only precious baby girl in someone else's care. I ruled most childcare places out with a simple phone call. When I visited the Goddard School I spent a significant amount of time in the Owner's office asking all sorts of questions and then toured the school. Everything was impressive and the more I learned and saw, the more at ease I felt. I got back to my car and immediately called my husband and said through bittersweet tears, "This is it, this is the place. Now, 2 years later, we could not be happier with our choice. The staff was very supportive in helping us navigate the difficult transition (for us AND our child!) and she has, and continues, to flourish in their environment. The Goddard School is an exceptional school. Our two daughters have been attending the school for a year and a half. We moved our children to Goddard from their previous school because we felt like they needed more in the way of academics. As an educator, I wanted my children to have the best they could as a foundation for their learning. We could not be more pleased. The teachers at the school are incredible. Our daughters are always happy to go to school, and they are eager to share what they have learned at the end of each day. The teachers are also incredibly nurturing and warm. Our children are now five and three, and they have blossomed at the Goddard School. I was sorry to read the reviews from the two people who called the school and felt they did not get a friendly response. I think that many schools encourage parents to come take a tour instead of just simply asking for rates. I can honestly say that Ryan, the owner, and Lauren, the director, have always gone out of their way to be friendly and incredibly accommodating. Everyone on staff treats each child and all parents with amazing friendliness and compassion. Finding childcare is such an important decision. We all want the very best for our kids, and I can say without hesitation that the Goddard School is amazing... and definitely worth going by to visit. read more

I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt appreciation for my son's amazing teachers Mrs. Brianna, Miss Krystin,Miss Paige, and Miss Dani. ! As a first-time mom, I was naturally nervous about leaving my little one, but Mrs. Brianna made the whole process so much easier. Every morning, drop-offs were a breeze because my son absolutely loved seeing her in the mornings ! It's clear that she not only cares deeply about her students but also knows how to make learning so much fun and exciting. What really stands out to me is how great Mrs. Brianna was at communicating my son's needs and things we can work on at home. Whenever I had a concern, I always felt comfortable speaking with her, and she was so understanding and helpful. I was also a little anxious about my son moving classes, but his new teachers Miss Angie, Dawsyn, and Miss Kat have been nothing short of wonderful. They send so many pictures throughout the day, which makes me feel so connected to my son's experiences. I love getting to see all the activities he's involved in and the new things he's getting to try. By the time he gets home, he's completely worn out from all the fun, and it's clear he's been having a blast while learning and growing. We moved our little girl to Goddard from an in home daycare last September. It was absolutely the best move for her we could have made! We had struggled with potty training for about 6 months, and within 2 weeks of starting at Goddard she was out of pull ups and completely potty trained. She loves going to "school" at Goddard every day, is very comfortable with the staff/caretakers and has made several friends in her classrooms. She knows several of the staff members by name, (e.g. she always wants to stop at say goodbye to Mr. Ryan when she gets picked up at the end of the day), and they know her by name too, often telling her hello when we arrive for drop off in the mornings. She has also been involved in the extra activities that are available at Goddard (dance, flippers, sports classes), and we order the 3rd party hot lunches, both of which are really convenient! Before we decided to place her at Goddard, we attended two of the open houses - one when she was 18 months old, the other when she was about 2.5 - both times she had an absolute blast and did not want to leave. I encourage others considering Goddard to do this - visit the school in person, take your kid(s) to an open house and see how they react. I am glad that we did, and we have absolutely no regrets in placing her here at Goddard. read more

My son went to Goddard the year prior to starting kindergarten. We moved him to Goddard from another child care facility and was impressed with the curriculum for the pre-school class and the love and guidance from the teachers. Once he started kinder he attended the Goddard after school program and also went to Goddard summer camp for the school age children. We have had nothing but a positive experience at Goddard. All the teachers that my son has had have been wonderful. He loves them and talks about them when he is not there. He WANTS to go and see his teachers and friends. We recently took him out of the afterschool program only because he was doing other classes and activities after school. We will definitely look to going back to Goddard during his summer break. The ladies in the administrative office have been great. They work with us on our schedule. Any time I have a question, if they do not have an answer on the spot, they get back to me promptly. I know it is not always easy to keep so many kids and parents happy but I think the Goddard staff does an amazing job. My only regret is that I did not start my son at Goddard earlier! read more

I cannot say enough about the Goddard Team here in Round Rock. My experience has been as close as you can get to perfection. I have NEVER had an issue with the staff, children or facilities. My child has been going for 4 years and she is 5. So, in my opinion that is a testament to the love, care and dedication that each team member provides to each child. I believe that this "school" is just that. The staff has prepared my daughter for a love of learning that will not be vanquished. She loves going to "school" everyday. Ms. Jennifer and Ms. Rebecca are her last teachers and not the least. Every teacher she has had growing up has been more than adequate. So, thank you, Ms. Sarah, Ms Maria, Ms. Amanda, Ms. Brianna, Ms. Katherine, Ms. Becky, Mr. Chris and Mr. Ryan......I apologize if I have left anyone out. We've had such a wonderful experience with Goddard over the past 9 months with our daughter! She started in the infant classroom when she was just 7 months old, and we were immediately impressed by how nurturing and attentive the teachers were. Ms. Bri, Ms. Paige , Ms. Krystin created such a warm and loving environment, and it was clear that our daughter felt safe and cared for. The daily updates and open communication gave us so much peace of mind as first-time parents. During her time in the infant room, she hit so many exciting milestones--sitting up, crawling, walking, and even saying her first words. Now that she's in the First Steps classroom, we've seen even more growth in her development. She's becoming more independent, expressive, and curious every day. From the first moment that i contacted Goddard to the first time I dropped my little man off for school, i have had nothing but great communication from the owners and staff. I had viewed many schools/daycare's leading up to our decision to put our child in Goddard and the main reason we chose them would be comfort in leaving our first child with them, cleanliness of the facility, and the challenging curriculum. Miss Liz called us on our child's first day in school, which was very hard for us as first time parents, to let us know what our son was doing and how he was acclimating to his new environment. These are the kinds of personal touches that we have grown used to over the months our son has been with the Goddard school. Being around the other children has encouraged our child to excel much further than we could have expected in crawling sooner, walking early and being noticeably further ahead than other children from other schools that we spend time with. The Goddard school is a great fit for my family. I have one daughter in the infant class and one daughter that just finished the kinder readiness class. I wish I would have found this school sooner for my oldest daughter. The teachers are great in the kinder readiness class and they were always easy to talk to if I had any questions about my daughter's day. My infant class experience has been excellent. My now 10 month old started at 4 months and the teachers are definitely gems! Seriously in need of a raise, haha. They are always cheerful and happy to see my little one. My daughter really enjoys coming to school to see Ms. Cassie and Ms. Nesha! The lead teacher Ms. Tracey is a great leader as well. My daughter gets excited to see her teachers and they are the same every day so she gets to know them and they get to know her as well. It is so nice to be able to drop her off knowing she's in good hands. It's a great relief as a parent when you know your child is being taken care of and in a great setting. read more

The staff at The Goddard School on Gattis School Rd in Round Rock is AWESOME! They make you feel so at ease when you walk in the door and sold us almost immediately when we were looking for a pre-k school for our daughter. She had only been in my care up until last year so I was nervous to let someone else take care of her. I feel so at peace taking her to school at Goddard. Their teaching techniques are doing great things for my little girl. She loves it. Ryan, the owner, is a fantastic source of information. He always returns calls/emails promptly. It is very apparent that he cares about his business and the business of taking care of and teaching children. The facility was great before, but now they have remodeled with an expansion and it is even more impressive. I was very leary about any care for our boys when we moved to Texas. Our two boys have been at Goddard for almost 2 years now. They have learned so much there socially and academically. The school is growing which is a good thing to see the expansion happening. The teachers are great. I am not sure what the reviews about high turnover are about because that is not what we have seen at all with the teachers our children have experienced in the two years. My younger son will be with the teacher my older son had to prepare for school. They have great programs for all ages. Our oldest was well prepared for school this year. Now that he is older he can attend the various summer camps out there, but asked if he could attend Goddard for the summer months. They love going to the school and the staff is great. Ryan is very responsive to anything we ever need and Julia and Lauren are great as well. The school is great! read more

My husband and I researched schools extensively prior to enrolling our son at 4 months. A year later, we have not been disappointed. He loves his teachers and they love him. We have no issues dropping him off - he clearly wants to be there. At Goddard, he is exposed to way more than I could do myself at home. He's constantly painting, playing, and singing. He's learning ASL and Spanish. We've had no trouble with any of the teachers, administration, guidelines, or billing. The price difference between a school of this caliber and the others is nominal. When I compare Goddard to the facilities we toured that smell like old diapers and milk, where the kids are just running around in chaos, the extra money is totally worth the peace of mind. read more

Our child has attended Goddard since 6 months old and now at 8 years old still loves going there. We are now doing the afterschool care, holiday weeks (when elementary school is closed), and summers. The teachers always have lessons plans prepared and we get copies emailed to us along with pictures of activities our kid participated in. The school staff heats up their food at lunch time if needed and provide snacks through out the day, bonus points for that. Overall we are happy with the quality of care and attention given by the staff there. We take it as a good sing when our child wants to arrive early and leave late to keep playing with friends and work on school activities. read more

The Goddard School has been such a wonderful experience for my child. We transferred him in at 2 years old after a very poor experience at another school and we couldn't be happier. He's now 5 and about to transfer to public school with an excellent start to his academic future. The Goddard's educational curriculum is amazing but more than that, it's been the educators that have spent their time partnering with us as parents to help foster his love of learning. We came to Goddard School Round Rock from another daycare down the street and the difference in schools was remarkable! Goddard has been key in fostering my daughter's critical thinking and problem solving skills. I also cannot express how much I appreciate their staff. Her teachers, Ms. Karla, Ms. Amanda, and Ms. Liz are very knowledgeable and supportive to all the children. Mrs Marquita is INCREDIBLE! My daughter has been blessed to have been in her class 2 times (when she moved to teach the older class my daughter was due to move up as well) and I truly cannot express how grateful we are. The way she pours her heart into these kids is so special to watch. She teaches them so much more than curriculum. She teaches them the importance of being a kind person, respecting others and themselves, finding confidence in themselves and so much more.
