First let me say this is a bit of a long review so here's a summary-- I want to say a big thank you to Ms. Lisa, Ms Kiahna, Ms. Jade, & Ms. Leslie. This is a wonderfully ran, and wonderfully built school that truly provides high quality care for our children and believe me, my standards are very high (I try to be easy going about it lol but at the core of it all, I would never accept sub standard care when it comes to our children and frankly, neither should you.) Our daughter started at Cadence about 2 weeks after she turned 2YO and this is our first child so there were a few things at play here. 1. Due to COVID, she had not interacted with other children as often as we'd have liked and since she hated Gymboree, we thought she didn't want to be around other kids :/ 2. We had been her sole caretakers for two years so she really wasn't used to not being by our side every moment of the day. 3. Her nutrition, cognitive development, and social skills are things I think about a lot and was important that whatever daycare we chose did a great job in these areas. 4. Uh...did i mention she was no fan of Gymboree classes? She would sit on my lap the entire time we would go and we went for 3 months straight so I thought she didn't like organized leaning environments for some reason. So I thought a daycare would be a difficult transition for us. However here's what actually happened. Ms. Lisa was excellent reaching out and ensuring all my questions and concerns were addressed. Through our conversations, I could tell the kids and their learning environment were the priority. On the first week, our daughter cried (as expected), but her teachers Ms. Jade, and Ms. Leslie were so warm, kind, and attentive right off the bat that she would calm down soon after we left the room and in the 2nd week, she only cried once. Third week? She was walking in by herself!! Here's what I'm seeing...it took a child who had minimal interactions with other kids/adults 1 week to adjust, stop crying, and begin playing with other kids. she may not have been home with us, but she felt safe and secure to adjust so quickly, and THIS is of utmost importance to me. I also want to give a HUGE shout out to Ms. Kiahna -- she would readily check on my daughter to see if she has settled in 5-10 mins after we left and let us know she is either doing fine or still settling in or sitting on Ms. Jade/Leslie's lap. She was always honest too lol and I loved that I never got a generic answer. Honestly, this is a kind trait that I truly appreciate. Also Ms. Brooke who is the new teacher seems so pleasant, and lets me know how my child did when I come to pick her up, without me asking. I REALLY appreciate it, because it tells me she pays attention to each kid and who doesn't want that. I just think the people hired here are exceptional. Nutrition is important here and it's balanced. One time, when it started getting a bit cool outside, they served turmeric chicken, pasta, and oranges :) and if you are unnecessarily into nutrition like I am, you know turmeric is a great anti-inflammatory/antioxidant for cold weather so I was pleased to see the thought and care they put into their nutrition. And yes, I so love that they send you pictures of their activities, play outside, nap length of time and what they eat throughout the day. This school gives what it is meant to give and much more and we are beyond grateful and happy this is where our daughter has begun her educational journey :). read more

This place is under serious scrutiny for leaving their side gates near the parking lot unlocked because a student went out. When pressed on why their door by the playground was open and why a student would get out, the center just claimed it was easier for those to leave during emergencies. If you care about your child's safety, there are plenty more centers to take your child that will care about your safety. read more

Our daughter has been at Cadence for about a year and a half. We visited many schools before selecting Cadence and are so happy we did. Right away, we were impressed by the staff, curriculum, and cleanliness. Since then, we continue to be so thankful we found this special place for our daughter - the teachers are kind and attentive and really get to know their students and treat them like individuals. We get regular updates throughout the day with pictures, meals, and activities. There is age-appropriate curriculum that teaches both hard and soft skills, and they create an environment where the kids work on things together, which has helped our daughter come out of her shell. We've had a great experience as parents, and enjoy the family events they put on - and our daughter looks forward to "school" in the mornings. Highly recommend Cadence! read more

My daughter just started at Cadence, we love it. Ms. Jenna and Ms. Jade are super fun and friendly, love the updates they send throughout the day. They have such cool activities planned for the kids, in pictures my daughter is happy, having a great time with arts and play. I also noticed my daughters speech has improved, more words to add to her vocabulary. Love it! Thank you :) Lisa and Krystal are also awesome! Super quick to respond and accommodating, made my life a lot easier this month for sure. We ended up needing more days added to our schedule last minute. Change was made quickly without any issues. An absolute waste of money. 1) My child LOVES school, that is, until we sent her here. After about a week of attending this place she began to hate the word school. She was afraid to go to this place, which was a huge red flag for us. 2) All of the hard work my wife and I put in to teach her the alphabet and counting was regressing. She started to hate learning once we put her in this place. 3) One of the most expensive day"cares" in the area; not worth the expense at all. 4) Rude; once you have your child at the front door, they grab them and send them off without allowing the parent to say goodbye. This happened to us most if not all of the time. 5) If you've been in the line t o pick up your child for about 30 minutes and see children being taken to cars 5 cars behind you who just drove up, don't be mad, they're on the "privileged" list. Or you can do like some others do and not get in a line at all, but rather park, go get their kid, then leave. Must be nice. 6) not only is the staff unwelcoming, but so is the facility. With the amount of money you will be spending, you would expect some upgrades in the playground equipment. All and all, we are so very happy to pull our daughter out of here after 2 weeks. They charged us for 2 more weeks per our contract, so watch out for that. read more

Our child has attended Cadence since age three and is now in pre-K. We've been consistently impressed with the learning activities, teachers, the onsite chef, the holiday programs, the extracurricular activities, and just the overall caring and friendly attitude of everyone there. They run a tight ship, give constructive and honest feedback about our child, and the core team truly loves what they do. Our child is in a structured setting to will prepare for elementary school all while having fun with teachers who are truly skilled and truly care. read more

Our son goes to Cadence since he was 16 months and he loves it! It was important for us to find a place where he was able to actually learn things and not only play, and Cadence is this special place. Ms Kat has been wonderful and our son absolutely loves her! We couldn't have asked for a better teacher! read more

My kiddos love Cadence Academy and our family couldn't be more HEART HAPPY! Our oldest just started the Summer Camp program and it's so awesome that they get to take field trips. This was an unexpected surprise and it's such a treat for Son to get to experience these fun daily adventures! We're going on over 2 years now at Cadence and to see our boys mature with great curriculums and other like minded students and teachers that Cadence offers, it's always a beautiful day in the neighborhood at Cadence Academy! Update: we are still loving Cadence and all of the wonderfully loving teachers. We love the app and the pictures and updates. They also allow me to bring in my own milk and cloth diapers. I love how they always work with me. We looked at many places for our 10 month old baby girl and no one was as friendly as the people at Cadence. Claire was so loving and you could just feel how much she loved her job. I get pictures and notes every day letting me know how her day was and they are very flexible to the needs of my daughter Paisley. Paisley loves the people there and smiles when I drop her off and when I leave she likes to wave goodbye to them. I recommend them highly and me giving a good review means a lot because usually when I review it's not positive, haha! read more

I switched my 5 month old over to Cadence after multiple bad experiences with our previous daycare. I am so comfortable with dropping my son off now at Cadence knowing that he is cared for the way I would care for him. Prior to my son coming here I felt like I couldn't take a full breath while at work, and I was rushing out the door right at 5 to go pick him up. But now I am so relaxed. Even though Cadence offers an app that has all of your child's activities (diaper change, bottle, naps) logged onto it throughout the day, I hardly check it because I know he's safe and okay. I absolutely love this place, and just wish I had moved my child here sooner!! read more

My children, age 7 & 4, attended summer camp in 2021, and then we returned for 2022. They both have enjoyed their time at Cadence Academy very much! The teachers are thoughtful, kind, and nurturing. The staff is very helpful. Lisa, the Director, is very attentive and Helpful whenever I have any questions. I highly recommend the school. read more

We have been with Cadence for over two years now. We have had a really positive experience here. There is low teacher turnover (at least compared to what we had previously experienced) and I think the teachers they hire are wonderful (Shout out to Ms. Zizo - she has really created an incredible preschool experience for the kiddos since joining). Ms. Lisa and Ms. Krystal are always quick to respond to any questions or concerns that may come up, we can video conference with teachers if we need to (due to Covid protocols), and get daily updates on activities/monthly updates on learning topics to come. The playground is so much more conducive to imaginative play than so many other places we see as well. Our daughter loves going to school at Cadence! read more

My 3 year old started school here back in August. He was going 3 times a week and now asks if he can go everyday. The staff is very kind and warming. They have open ears for positive or negative feedback and work with any concerns I have. My son has flourished so much verbally and socially ever since he started cadence. I love all the activities he does with his teacher, Ms. Kelsey. She does a great job with the kiddos, my son always expresses how much he loves his friends and teacher! The school is very clean, I love that they have a separate company that comes in after hours to clean and sanitize everything. I can tell from the pictures they send during the day how clean his class is. Also, they keep me posted during the day on what the kiddos are doing and eating, which I love! They screen all children before entering, teachers keep masks on during working hours and ask for parents are not allowed to go in to minimize exposure. Cadence Academy was the perfect experience for us. My son is now in the school district but was with Cadence starting at 5 months old. They cared so much for all of their kids, and the level of connection I saw between my son and his teachers at every stage made my mama heart so full! They helped him grow at every stage, and I always felt so reassured watching him walk inside. He loved all of his teachers and they were always so supportive of anything we needed or whenever we had any questions. I don't think I could have asked for a better experience for us and our son. read more

Since moving my 2.5 year to this school in June, he has flourished! He loves going to school and learn something new everyday. The staff and the directors here are warm and understanding. The school is very open and communicates often. I love that they treat the children as individuals and allows kids to transition to the next class based on their maturity and not their numerical age. Finding where you can be at peace leaving your kid is hard but so far Cadence Academy haven't given me any reason to worry! read more

My child started full time daycare a year ago at Cadence Academy when he was 6 weeks old. In the beginning things were great. By the time he was 10 months old things started going down hill. The teachers that we loved quit. Poor management, high turnover (employees walking out), and at times the ratio of children is an issue 6 toddlers (1 years olds) with one teacher! At one point my child had busted his lip and they claim they called me... they never called me the director said well maybe we don't have the right phone number. I said my number has not changed and I have been called from Cadence before. (They did not try to call my number for that incident) My child had bite marks on his arms two weeks in a row (one bite broke the skin) and no one said a word to me about it. I had to address the bites to the director. She told me well maybe the teacher didn't notice and just thought he was fussy. I get it, that age group bites, but the fact is if someone is bit and it breaks the skin, I know my child wouldn't be fussy he would be screaming. I tried to not over think the many situations I have encountered with the school, but I do not feel comfortable with my child being there. They also allow drop ins, which I personally am not a fan of. These are the issues I personally had.
