Very nice setting. Loved that we could get in a sub-4 hour round in. Slow play really killed my desire to play golf. This is a bit of a drive for me from Seattle but worth it. Pretty layout - was in decent shape considering it had rained the night before our round. Friendly staff from pro shop to restaurant to bar. I would avoid the breakfast bagel though - it was so chewy I thought it was going to rip out one of my crowns :D Being a car enthusiast maybe I'm a little more picky about vehicles than the average person but our cart was pretty sad. Didn't break down though. :D Worth it for pace of play alone. Not super long from the white tees but it looks like a serious challenge from the tips! read more

This golf course has the worst business ethics I've ever seen--they're profiting off junior golf tournaments. A bucket of 40 to 50 range balls normally costs $13, which is already pricey enough. On WJGA tournament days, they jack the price up to $15, yet the receipts still show $13. I'll never play at this greedy course again. read more

Had brunch there on Mother's Day. The setting, parking, and service are excellent. They even had a photo spot setup outside which was nice. They had salads, salmon, fruit, eggs and dessert. It would have been nice to have one more egg dish ie scrambled eggs or omelette station as well as a carving station. We usually do Ivar's but decided to try this as we had originally gone to EF back in the day. There was plenty to eat and it was a nice relaxed setting. read more

We had a wonderful time, and thought this course was beautiful - and so affordable! Honestly, a super special day and so worth booking a tee time. And what a finishing hole! We were anticipating it the whole time, which made the first 17 holes even more exciting. But maybe the most special little treat of the whole game was driving over the little bridge (between holes 12 and 13 I believe?). It is like a Jurassic Park paradise, with some of the most glorious and gigantic foliage I've ever seen! Everyone we interacted with was great - the clubhouse had a delish lunch - and their snack stand was fun and super well placed! You drive by it at least 3 times over the course of 18 holes. Such a fun day was had!!! Great vibes, beautiful course, nice people. We will be back! read more

I like Echo Falls great bar, excellent carts they fill up with ice, this place has class. I love a place that has a starter provides direction and gives others good advice about the course. Echo has great greens picturesque views. Great bar good bloodys and amazing food The play is challenging the last hole especially. The only thing that is a knock is the driving range is just of ok. So I wanted to set up a year membership which I was gifted because my grandfather passed away and got me into the game. So I can multiple time over February and March and was told no rush on memberships they don't start till April and don't fill up fast. Today I show up hoping to start a membership they tell me it's been full since March. There is a lack of communication going on for sure! More to add now I had a tee time at 11:40 booked so I paid to play. Then got to the stater and he couldn't get me out with the right group. At this point I was pretty upset with the way the day was going and asked for a refund. Got into the pro shop and told them I was going tell my friends how happen to pro at other courses about this. Then as I was walking out he told me not to lie to my friends. Basically calling me a liar very low class in my opinion. Spend your money elsewhere!! read more

Surprise, surprise, surprise. Where has this place been? Mix between private and public and that's pretty cool since you don't have to see all the exact same people all of the time. Nice to mix it up, right? The greens are kept up. The pro shop is nicely merchandised. The food is pretty darn excellent at the restaurant next door. The golf carts are another story.. they kinda suck. I was told that there are new ones on order. Cool Beans!! Most the time the course is not too backed up but your typical Saturday can be slow. Afforable memberships. Nice people. The ladies group is super fun and very friendly. i look forward to many more rounds. read more

Strikers Bar and grille Couldn't find the Yelp location for the new restaurant so I'm adding it here. They did a beautiful remodel of the facility. Really enjoyed it. The bar will be fabulous when covid restrictions lift. Had the club bloody Mary. Tasted great with the nice spicy kick. They use Tito's vodka which is a bonus. Wasn't super hungry we really just came to get away from the kids and enjoy a new little place. We ordered the nachos and the chicken strips.. And for dessert we shared the chocolate skillet cookie with ice cream. I enjoyed the bloody Mary the most. The food was decent nothing fabulous but it was also bar food.. And though I like the dessert as it was very tasty I thought it was extremely overpriced for what I got. $12 for a super thin cookie at the bottom of the skillet with one scoop of ice cream. I thought half the price would have been more appropriate for what I got. Needless to say I won't order that again. This staff was very friendly. It look like they had a golf simulator but it wasn't running right then I'm not sure when it usually is. Looks like they have happy hour up until 5:00 p.m. with a little side menu of food that isn't on the normal menu. I'll probably come in on another time for that. The view was beautiful. read more

While still a nice course, it has gone downhill since Scott Oki sold it. The course doesn't absorb water well so even a bit of rain and the course is nearly unplayable. Pace of play is also a problem but if you can get past those, some fun and challenging holes. read more

Driving range: in great shape, mats in great shape, sand pit and grassy areas, no putting area that i saw No directions on how to get balls in the little shack, you need to go into the pro shop, $9 for large/$5 small (64/32 respectively), get printed code, go back to the shack, find a ball bucket place it under the obvious dispensing hole near the floor, key in your code, viola! The 18hole course is beautiful, i dont know the rates as a vendor bought my round; as a beginner i found the course challenging and unforgiving, albeit pretty and scenic. Lost alot of balls. Hope as i improve ill return here and appreciate it more. The pro shop is well stocked, but my wife reports a very negative experience here as she tried to find a pair of womens golf shoes. Restaurant /bar pretty decent, good spot for lunch. read more

Love it here. Sounds like there's a lot of bad golfers in the reviews that figured they could make up for doubling every hole by writing a bad review. Everything here is brand new and the club house staff is great. Parking lot is safe and in a residential neighborhood. A little over 5 1/2 hours to play on Saturday, 6/25. The starter informed our group they were being very adamant about enforcing 4 1/2 hour rounds. What a joke. The course marshal's, who are very nice people, I'm sure, have zero ambition to help speed things up. We waited on EVERY shot the entire day. Course conditions are just ok. Pace of play is horrendous. I will not be going back and neither will anyone else in my group. It's turned into an overpriced hacker course. So sad. A lot of wasted potential here. read more

Played this course on Sunday, 29 August 2021 and am totally unhappy with the time it took (5 hours, 15 mins) to play 18 holes! While the course and greens are in fine condition making for decent play, the pro shop had allowed several groups of five to play, so we (3) waited on EVERY tee box for the groups ahead of us to putt, fish their balls out of the water, and search for errant hits. And each player had their own cart - 5 of them, except for one group that were all walking! I will not be back to this course! First time I had played since it left the OKI group, so don't know how that affects anything if at all. But apparently present management just wants the income from as many golfers as they can cram onto the course. I will play elsewhere, thanks. I DID talk to the pro shop after the round, "oh, well, I'm sorry! We were busy today". Should have asked for a rebate or a free round certificate! read more

Note- this is from the perspective of a (Los) Angeleno. Beautiful course. Even the locals agree. It's higher end. Although for the price point of $85 there is no gps and the bathrooms were port-o-potties. The tee boxes were no even. Everything was green. This is a tough course because of the terrain. Practice hitting off uneven lies. I'm usually a bogey player but this course added 10 strokes. Very humbling. There were incredibly scenic holes. Typical Seattle forest golf. Homes were around the area but none were in direct danger of being hit. I would think twice about returning here. To enjoy the course, you have to be able to place your shots. The clubhouse at Echo Falls rivals that of the Golf Club at Newcastle as far as Oki golf courses are concerned. After turning into the entrance you drive along the 18th hole and see the "island" green with the backdrop of the clubhouse. This is definitely one of the most economical of all the Oki courses and in my opinion provides the best value. I also think this is the best layout of all the Oki courses with open fairways, easy to find yardages, and the ability to hit the snack shop and/or restroom 4 times per round. Several of the downhill par 5s are very reachable in 2 with well-placed tee shots so take the risk as there isn't much trouble surrounding the greens. My arch nemesis hole is definitely the 430 yard par 4 17th along the water. With OB left and water the down the entire hole on the right it's very easy to lose a ball. I don't know that I've ever reached in regulation, and consider bogey a good score on this hole. I love the finishing 18th hole over the water with the clubhouse in the backdrop! read more

Every time I place this course I really enjoy myself. They've got what I consider a great twilight deal. After 5pm it's $36 and that's with a cart and unlimited holes. I just got done with 18 having had a 5:15 tee time and I really had time for a few more holes, now that is great! I've golfed so many places at twilight (because it's cheaper folks) and I choose nicer courses because I can't stand poorly maintained ones and Echo falls delivers. There's rarely any bog downs on the turns, the greens are lovely, and the service friendly! Beautiful course to play, today we saw a coyote! The fairways are large enough where you don't have to worry about hitting any houses that border the course. I'll be playing here a lot this summer! read more

PRICE GOUGING DURING COVID! I was charged $37 to ride a cart as a single rider because I wanted to SOCIAL DISTANCE MY SELF. The pro shop attendant told me it was $17 to ride when I initially checked in. I got called back after pulling up to the first tee because I had a cart to myself and was forced to pay another $20 to ride the cart. THEN THE CART DIED ON THE COURSE ON HOLE 12, overcharging and providing a dead cart is simply unacceptable. SCREW Echo Falls Golf Club, I will not be coming back here after treating people who are trying to stay safe during this pandemic. Greens were absolutely in horrible condition worst I've played all year in 50+ rounds. Extremely bumpy and couldn't get a smoothe roll all round. read more

The course is in great shape and had a great time but the manager in the Pro shop is a dbag. He had a employee for the first day and did a great job at insulting the customer (us) because we asked for a receipt since it was a work outing and stated only old people want receipts. If you want to say that behind our backs then go for it but Mr. Dbag wasn't any older than us and we always buy swag in the Pro shops but I guess their not interested in repeat customers or shirt/jacket purchases. Asked for any tips and got the same ahole comments about go find out yourself. Golfed at Wine Valley 3 days earlier and that pro shop was happy to give comments/tips since it was our first time there as well and I'm wearing their logo'd jacket. read more

Way too expensive for what you get. The cart pricing is dumb and almost way too expensive and it's a pretty bad course to walk so you're almost forced to get a cart. Greens are nice and fast but the fairways and rough are pretty bad, the bunkers are even worse and have almost no sand in them. read more

This is an aggregate review. I have golfed here for 15 years and today was the last one. No service. The Oki "deal" is a joke. No cart service. No kitchen open for breakfast. Really rough groundskeeping along the fairways. I enjoy challenging golf and this course has always had that, but the standards have dropped season by season. There are locals driving onto the course to play drop in golf. Today two different couples managed to wedge in front of us when we were clear from the first tee box. If this place gets its mojo back someone will have to tell me, because this was really my last round here. read more

Dig deep and read the critical reviews, we're all saying the same things. - Layout (1 out of 5) - Greens (3 out of 5) ---- some were great but some were absolute trash - Tee Boxes (2 out of 5) - Fairways (3 out of 5) ---- generous score - Prices (2 out of 5) ----- I only paid $34 and I was disappointed. I'll start by saying that people play golf for many different reasons. I however, just enjoy the sport and light exercise. If you have other motives to play the game, this review probably won't apply to you. This course feel so classy when you're at the clubhouse but it's going to crap once you hit the course. You literally zigzag underneath high voltage power lines that crackle over your head for most of your round. Not exactly classy or relaxing in my opinion. Some greens were in immaculate shape but about 4-5 were pretty trashy. Our balls were jumping and hardly breaking at all. You NEED a cart. And you better be good at following signage because there is a serious commute between each hole. This course just doesn't flow at all. It's like an IKEA, by the time you make it out, you've walked around the course 5 times. The tee boxes were not great. They were all super compacted sand essentially. You have to search to find a place where you can even penetrate the ground with your tee. I'd also avoid this course unless your planning on playing it often. Just about every hole, you're teeing off into a blind corner or going down a hill blindly. You have no idea what the hole is like until after you've played it. I won't play here again unless someone is buying my round and then I'll have to consider whether or not it's worth a commute out to the boonies on a broken highway. read more

This course is the most over-priced, poorly conditioned course I have played this year. I will only limit it to this year because of the weather conditions in the Pacific NW. Since I live in Spokane and play most of my golf in that area, those are the courses I am comparing with Echo Falls. I am not sure you could find a course in my area that is even close to being in as poor condition, not to mention the ridiculously high price. Good luck if this layout is one of your few options. We went to Strikers for lunch. Our server was super great. She had the whole place to wait on. Drinks were good, however the food has gone way down hill. I hope it is because the main chef was doing an event. I had a salad that was just a dry piece of chicken and one whole romain head sliced in three pieces burnt and drizzled with a tiny bit of dressing. Beautiful course still! The staff are the best part, great service and go above and beyond while the restaurant etc are remodeled for the better. Great people work here! Best value for public golf in Washington I think. Not overcrowded at all like most public courses, and the quality of the course is very good overall, also better than most public courses, especially for the price! Only going to get better, the restaurant was just remodeled and looks great! I assume they will change the flagsticks shortly with their new logo. Played here for the first time today and was impressed. Course was in great shape (greens were near perfect condition). All in all a beautiful course. Pro shop staff were great / very accommodating. I walked and it was great exercise but be advised: while course is not that long, the distance between tees is longer than most. We shall golf here again (8 of us, on Sunday, in fact). read more

Winter golf in the PNW. This was my first ever round at Echo Falls. I thought it was a great course. Not long, but you had to give some thought to some shots, and if you're deep off the tee you can easily outdrive the fairway on a couple holes. Greens were in great shape. We'd had a couple of "dry" days after rain when we played so there were some muddy and soggy spots on the course which is to be expected. I lost a ball in the fairway on one hole when it plugged...always frustrating. No cart issues, clubhouse service was good for checking in as well as beers at the turn. I look forward to trying this one during the summer months and see how things look. read more

I am a very organized and precise Bride who had a year to plan a wedding (I was so organized I had a binder with dividers and graphs for everything....). My husband and I got married on Saturday March 19th, 2016 at the Echo Falls Golf Course. The site is very beautiful and well taken care of. Take into consideration that it is a Golf Course with a restaurant that is opened to the public, so just because there is an event or wedding going on, doesn't mean you and your guest will be the only ones there. That was one of the disadvantages we had on our wedding day, taking your wedding pictures and having golf carts speeding by was not fun, but we made the most out of it. The Ceremony/Reception area was very roomy with nice large windows overseeing the golf course. Our final guest count was 115, and the venue fit us in perfectly -not crowded at all, with lots of extra room. We had a very simple set up for décor with this venue, we found that it was pretty as is and we didn't want to "overpower" or go overboard on décor. I loved how we had different rooms to use on the day, such as the Grooms Room, Bridal Suite, Foyer, Buffet Room, and Ceremony/Reception room. The wait staff was very friendly and the Bartender was always busy and had drinks ready very quickly once you ordered. The Room Transition went very smoothly, I really liked how we had the General Manager (Brooke) & Catering Sales Manager (Krista) over looking everything. The planning process was challenging, only because we had booked the venue a year early and the venue had changed coordinators a month before our wedding date. We had a lot of hiccups with the previous coordinator- i.e had our wedding date recorded wrong, mix up with tasting and who would be there, mix up with some food items, set up time for day of event, etc. These were all minor mishaps, but I didn't think any of these mishaps should have happened. The coordinator that was actually there for our Wedding, Krista, was awesome. We meet her a couple weeks before the wedding and she was really on top of things despite all the back and forth emails, etc I had with the previous coordinator. I really appreciated the little details that went into making our wedding day go as smoothly as planned. The cons I have are for the "Day of" the wedding. We had asked if we can use a Cedar Arch for our ceremony (mainly to create a focal point at the aisle because the room was very opened, I wanted some sort of structural detail) - and it was not there. This was made note from the time we booked and re-laid at our Rehearsal (night before our wedding). I was told I had to print out the Table Numbers because there would be Holders for them. I didn't mind doing that, but then there were huge Number Blocks that were placed on the tables instead. It was fine, but I wish that was told to me before I wasted paper and ink. And lastly, we had made all the tables seat 10 guests - there was assigned seating and seating chart displaying this. A list and chart was made and given to the coordinator. Not sure where the miscommunication was, but the tables ending up only being seats of 8, which made a lot of guests confused and seated in different areas. Thankfully I have an amazing husband and bridal party who caught sight of this before I did because they handled all the stress and last minute changes. read more

nothing like a relaxing round of golf on a summer day. very seldomly/ do i go golfing but when i do - i like to absorb my surroundings and enjoy beautiful scenary. Echo Falls has very well maintained greens but scenary outside of its course it lacks. surrounded by trees galore you really do have a chance to focus on ur game. not the most difficult course out there - but quite a few challenging shots here and there. the fairways are small and not too many obstacles. a good course for a intermediate player. if you are a beginning and have a baseball type swing - this isn't the course for you as there are quite a few houses lined up along the course. the winding golf paths are well kept but it felt more like a disneyland forest drive getting to some holes than a beautiful golf course - driving up and down steep hills and thru steel tunnels. there's even snakes on the golf course! nice kept pro shop with plenty of equipment and the restaurant has nice patio seating. but it just lacked... life. it was dead all day! perhaps it was due to a rented out course for a tournament but there was no more than one or two people at a time. the food (i had the breakfast scramble) was delicious. and the service there was nice. if i lived any closer (i live in renton) and if golf were my top hobby - i'd definitely come back. but because i do live in renton and i don't golf.... well you do the maht. read more

I like to go golf at this course by myself in summer..I normally get there before 9am. And it normally not that busy..I can finish 18 holes in 3-4 hours which not that bad in summer.. Very good course to practice. .nice layout, not hard..dont even have to bring driver into this course.. Also..with the price and this kinda course .cant beat it.. read more
