We lucked out getting a parking space out front. There are only 5 or so spots out front, so I'm not sure where the other people in the shopping center parks. And the spots are funky. They are on a incline and when you pull into a space it appears that the back half of your car is still hanging out of the space. We went here after seeing their ads on tv and they sounded like what we were looking for. They offered shoe inserts for those who were having problems with their feet. We were the only ones in the store when we arrived. They offered to do a few test with us to fit us for sizes. I got my feet tested too just in case I wanted to get some too. The test was walking back and forth on this box they had made on the floor. It's not long enough so your walking is very unnatural. So as they do that they go to the back and look for your size. This took longer than it should have. And he went back came out talked a little and then went back again. I don't know why he didn't just get it over with. Go back grab it and come right out and start trying it on. He finally came out and had you take out your own shoe inserts and try on the ones he brough out. We tried them on and boy are they uncomfortable. He said you have them on 30min to half an hour then take them out and work up on times from there till you can have them in for a full day. They have 3 different levels of inserts. Everyday wear, Exercise wear, and around the house slipper wear. Each offers a different level of support. For the house slipper insert he brough us out some plush slippers to wear to try the inserts to try them out in. He askes us what we wear normally around the house and I said Birkenstocks and I asked him if I should put them in those and he said no. Those are a totally different type of shoe. I'm not sure if that meant they were great to wear or not from their perspective. The slippers they had us try on were very plush, fur lined. After trying them all on he suggest we do a stability test. He has us take all the inserts our of our shoes and has us put our hands out front and pushes on our hands and shows us how we lift up our heels and then he has us put the inserts on and shows us when we do the same test we don't lift up our heels. I'm not sure if it's a gimmick or not, but why didn't he do the test initially when we came in so we weren't taking the inserts in and out of our shoes. It seemed like a waste of time. After we were all done trying the different inserts I asked him how much the system costs, as it's a system and I can't remember the exact amount, but it was over a grand. I asked what their return policy was to see if we should try it out, and we learned that they have a strict no return policy. My husband was in no way going this route with that price. He said he'd just try out the off the shelf model in REI first before he turned to drastic measures like this. Later I did some research on the good feet store and didn't find a whole lot of positive reviews. Of course there are those that like their products as there is always something that works for everyone. What I read that caught my attention is you should really go to your podiatrist for feet issues and if you need an insert they will make you a custom insert just for you, not a generic one off the shelf like the good feet store sells you. I remember going to a doctor as a kid and getting a custom insert made for me and then having shoe lifts put on my shoes too. All was custom work. I'd feel more comfortable if he went to his podiatrist and then if he got a recommendation to go to the good feet store then go all in. It was a nice store with people that want to help you out or are just looking to make a good commission. I'm hoping they really believe they are helping people. I forgot to ask the sales associate how long he has been wearing the inserts to see if he's a believer or not. This may be the product for you, but if I were you, I'd talk to my podiatrist first before investing in this system. Even if you go to they gym (another big money maker) they suggest you talk to your doctor first before starting any new exercise routine. It's always smart if you have medical issues talk to your doctor first. Also what your doctor prescribes should be covered by your insurance. These are not covered by insurance. In the end our next stop was REI, we got fitted for new shoe inserts for high arches and a month later he is feeling really good. Best wishes on your feet's happiness. read more

The assistant manager Brett was great! I didn't realize the supports had life time replacements, I've had mine for almost 20 years! He took my old ones and gave me brand new ones and also got me replacements for the maintainers I lost some time ago. Ok so don't believe the tv commercial, there is no instant relief. That's a total lie. Go to a good podiatrist, they send you to physical therapy to get educated on taking proper care of your feet and repair the damaged soft tissue in your feet. Do all of it. Buy the shoes they recommend (Oofos, Hola, On cloud), then get the inserts the Doctors recommend. If it's good feet, so be it. I know a coworker who spent $3k at good feet, bought the best of the best. Guess what still in pain every day, trying different shoes. I stopped at a Good Feet store to see what they had to offer, needless to say, the treatment was horrible! The staff would not accept my answer of "thanks but no thanks they won't work for me." He started yelling and telling me if I don't buy and try them how would I know they have the best product? That Harvard did a study on them and they gave Good Feet and excellent score rating. I still said no, I get up and start to exit the store next thing I hear is him slamming his chair into the wall. IDK, maybe they need to hit a certain number of sales which he wasn't hitting or they work off commission, Whatever it is I will never recommend this store to anyone I know. Terrific service by Lindsey, Certified Arch Support Specialist. She spent a lot of time with me, changing out my inserts. I purchased my 3 step process inserts in April 2014. Obviously, in the course of 10 years, my foot structure changed, and it was causing lower back problems. Lindsey measured each foot, performed a balance test, and determined my arch size. My feet had changed quite a bit, so she selected the appropriate inserts for my lifestyle. Lindsey was professional, attentive, kind, and attentive to my particular situation and needs. His methods were so transparent and when I told him I'd think about it his dismissive attitude was really off putting. I waited maybe 20-30 minutes in there since there are only a few people working and they really take their time with each client. I was helped by Dave, the store manager. He was extremely friendly and helpful. He took his time with me and really listened to what I was saying and how I was feeling. I ended up purchasing the 3-step system for $898+tax, totaling to $972. I felt that it was exactly what I needed for my life whether it is work, play, or rest. It is definitely super expensive but health is a priority for me. Keep in mind that there are no refunds but you can exchange anything for store credit or a different item. I took my father into this store today because his legs are uneven and he wanted to get a insert to make his legs even. This problem is starting to cause him leg and back pain. He ended up getting the arch support which not only helped even his legs but he also felt like it gave him more balance. The representative who helped us was knowledgeable and friendly. Plenty of parking available in front of the building and there was no wait when we arrived. I was very skeptical cool about going into the store. My husband was very adamant and had seen multiple commercials of the relief of pain that he could get by using the store expertise. He had heard about them over 10 years ago and finally took himself into the store. After about an hour, we decided that it would be best for him to purchase the insoles that they provide. The guy was very helpful yet. I was still skeptical because we left and my husband's feet were still hurting. After about a week of wearing the insoles per What was told my husband's feet still hurt and they urged us to come back right away!! The guy who fitted in size. My husband made the appointment and sounded very concerned and empathetic. Yet that was not the case upon arrival. I really liked with this what they don't tell you is that the insoles, you have to buy all three, are over $2000. A simple teacher and my husband being in the construction field, this was a big purchase for us. My husband made an appointment and took time off of work to go in to get resized. They were extremely backed up and had told him that they were 30 minutes behind. They apologized and said they would be about a half hour. My husband left, got gas and his truck, and came back. They were still not able to help him and told My husband they would put in the computer. It has been over two weeks since we have heard from them. I know, as a client I need to reschedule the appointment but once again, we are both full-time working parents and have very little time outside of our appointment windows of anything! You hit your 40s and suddenly you see your body responding differently. In my case I had this bad ankle pain every morning when I woke. I am avid hiker and couldn't figure out why my walking was making my ankle hurt so bad. I got inserts from good feet and the pain has totally vanished. The best day of my life was the day I stopped trying to wear the Good Feet inserts. Every moment with them in my shows was uncomfortable. I never was able to wear the higher arch options. Almost $800 wasted. Honesty, a custom arch support from a real podiatrist is only $300. The salesperson said I could wear them with sandals. That was never going to happen. I had to remove the liner of many of my shoes to get these to fit. Now they sit in my closet gathering dust. They are better than most store bought options but Super Feet are better. I went in last week, after doing significant research and reading reviews. I have had a dropped arch, suffered from knee, hip, low back pain, and one foot was bigger then the other. I couldn't sit with my feet flat on the floor or stand on one foot, and one foot hurt when I walked on it. I met Dave - the manager and he was very pleasant. I felt comfortable to ask him to skip the sales pitch (I was a little short on time and had done research). Dave made a "foot map" showing my step pressure, I waited using the foot massager (going to buy too) and he came back with three orthotics. I tried on the first one and walked around the store. Immediately my hips, knee popped and I was able to stand and walk with proper posture. I bought that one ($375) and skipped the others. Went here more than a year ago, and at that time I was suffering from plantar fasciitis, so when I tried the inserts on, it felt like they won't work and I was just making it worse. It has been more than a year and not once did I suffer from my chronic plantar fasciitis and achilles tendonitis again! Not completely satisfied with our first experience at the Good Feet Store Sacramento. We just spend $1600 for 5 arch supports and they messed up our order with the cushions. However, we're happy with the customer service we've received. Dave was very knowledgeable and took his time to explain the 3 step system and answered all of our questions. I was told to ship back the wrong item and they will ship the correct one. It's inconvenience for me to go to the post office and have to pay for shipping it back. It wasn't my fault to begin with. It's the inconvenience of going to the post office and being around large crowd that I'm not happy and feel unsafe about.
