We lucked out getting a parking space out front. There are only 5 or so spots out front, so I'm not sure where the other people in the shopping center parks. And the spots are funky. They are on a incline and when you pull into a space it appears that the back half of your car is still hanging out of the space. We went here after seeing their ads on tv and they sounded like what we were looking for. They offered shoe inserts for those who were having problems with their feet. We were the only ones in the store when we arrived. They offered to do a few test with us to fit us for sizes. I got my feet tested too just in case I wanted to get some too. The test was walking back and forth on this box they had made on the floor. It's not long enough so your walking is very unnatural. So as they do that they go to the back and look for your size. This took longer than it should have. And he went back came out talked a little and then went back again. I don't know why he didn't just get it over with. Go back grab it and come right out and start trying it on. He finally came out and had you take out your own shoe inserts and try on the ones he brough out. We tried them on and boy are they uncomfortable. He said you have them on 30min to half an hour then take them out and work up on times from there till you can have them in for a full day. They have 3 different levels of inserts. Everyday wear, Exercise wear, and around the house slipper wear. Each offers a different level of support. For the house slipper insert he brough us out some plush slippers to wear to try the inserts to try them out in. He askes us what we wear normally around the house and I said Birkenstocks and I asked him if I should put them in those and he said no. Those are a totally different type of shoe. I'm not sure if that meant they were great to wear or not from their perspective. The slippers they had us try on were very plush, fur lined. After trying them all on he suggest we do a stability test. He has us take all the inserts our of our shoes and has us put our hands out front and pushes on our hands and shows us how we lift up our heels and then he has us put the inserts on and shows us when we do the same test we don't lift up our heels. I'm not sure if it's a gimmick or not, but why didn't he do the test initially when we came in so we weren't taking the inserts in and out of our shoes. It seemed like a waste of time. After we were all done trying the different inserts I asked him how much the system costs, as it's a system and I can't remember the exact amount, but it was over a grand. I asked what their return policy was to see if we should try it out, and we learned that they have a strict no return policy. My husband was in no way going this route with that price. He said he'd just try out the off the shelf model in REI first before he turned to drastic measures like this. Later I did some research on the good feet store and didn't find a whole lot of positive reviews. Of course there are those that like their products as there is always something that works for everyone. What I read that caught my attention is you should really go to your podiatrist for feet issues and if you need an insert they will make you a custom insert just for you, not a generic one off the shelf like the good feet store sells you. I remember going to a doctor as a kid and getting a custom insert made for me and then having shoe lifts put on my shoes too. All was custom work. I'd feel more comfortable if he went to his podiatrist and then if he got a recommendation to go to the good feet store then go all in. It was a nice store with people that want to help you out or are just looking to make a good commission. I'm hoping they really believe they are helping people. I forgot to ask the sales associate how long he has been wearing the inserts to see if he's a believer or not. This may be the product for you, but if I were you, I'd talk to my podiatrist first before investing in this system. Even if you go to they gym (another big money maker) they suggest you talk to your doctor first before starting any new exercise routine. It's always smart if you have medical issues talk to your doctor first. Also what your doctor prescribes should be covered by your insurance. These are not covered by insurance. In the end our next stop was REI, we got fitted for new shoe inserts for high arches and a month later he is feeling really good. Best wishes on your feet's happiness.

If you have a medical issue with your feet, do not seek relief here - find a Podiatrist, and get your feet evaluated with a Doctor... I have serious flat feet, and my doctor was super mad at me when I went here and wasted 2000 bucks on three versions of "arch supports" in some fancy package. 2000 bucks for something that is worth 300 bucks with a prescription from a doctor, and 50 bucks from a Hospital Wellness Pharmacy... Yes, they tell you they're not "Medical Professionals" and make you sign a contract saying you understand... And Yes! they make you purchase 3 pairs of supports, for 2000 bucks instead of one for 100 bucks! And Yes! you can't return your purchase. if they're not working out, and you only wore them sparingly... The deal is, you can return them for another pair, for life, because your 2000 bucks is un-refundable ... Now, if your feet are not a medical issue, then I have three pairs of Good Feet Arch Supports for you, Men Size 13, never ever hardly use. And not for $2000 visa_v@yahoo.com

Been coming to good feet for lots of years and I strongly stand and believe in the arch supports that they sell. This latest visit I was helped by Tawny, she was very professional, very helpful and I very much appreciated her assistance. I ended buying another 6 arch supports for my self and now I have a total of 12. I bought my wife another 3 pairs of arches for her self so now se has 6 total. If you wake up every morning with excruciating pain in your feet when u step out of bed and are tired of getting cortisone shots then come give Good feet a visit. The arches might seem pricey compared to the Dr Shultz arches but trust me THEY ARE WORTH EVERY PENNY when the pain goes away, you'll be glad you infested that money on your feet because u use for feet EVERY DAY!! Good feet will make u feel good.

Ask the Community - The Good Feet Store

Do they only sell the 3 part system or can i just cone in and buy one pair of inserts and not pay 800 dollars?

We sell arch support sets individually away from the 3-Step System. Perhaps yu should consult with your salesperson as to which would give you maximum benefits.

This is a store that caters to runners and their athletic shoe needs... not the usual place I would…read morebe seen shopping, but my sibkid needed some good fitting, supportive, ergonomic shoes for their cosmetology program so this was a recommended store to check out. The store is located in a relatively small storefront on J St., but the interior is spacious and with soaring ceilings, so soaring in fact that I did have to put in some earplugs at one point because there were so many people talking at pretty high decibels. It was like being a restaurant. We went on the MLK weekend and the store was packed with shoppers, many of whom seemed to be repeat customers. The focus of the store is getting the proper fit for the activity, and then aligning that with a particular style and brand/model of shoe that would theoretically work best. They are focused on selective and particular brands, such as Brooks and Hoka. The shoes are pricey (average price $200 for the Hokas) and they weren't advertising any sales, nor clearly pricing the shoes. In fact, the shoe browsing that you experience in a typical store- looking at and picking up shoes doesn't see to be encouraged here. Instead you're greeted by an associate immediately upon entering who is your "guide." They can help you with testing for sizing and gait, and they bring shoes for you to try, while helping you try on the shoes. It's definitely a full service shoe store. The foot testing on a walking/gait testing pad and a low platform was done for my sibkid by Alyzza, whom proved to be a knowledgeable, helpful, and pleasant shoe saleswoman. The results led to several shoe models and the resultant try-ons. A few extra were added as Alyzza tried to determine the best fit for her customer. Two different arch supports were tried and one pair was the winner ($60). Ultimately one pair was selected as the winner (Hoka/Bondi model in wide). The color desired (black) was not available in this store. We found out that if the shoe was available from the Elk Grove location it could be ready for pick up on J St in a couple days, but the ownership/reciprocity of the other two regional stores (Folsom and Roseville) was different, such that we had to physically pick them up ourselves. She double checked that the shoes were available in Roseville with a phone call, and said they'd be held for my sibkid for three days. There was also an online ordering option which could take upwards of two weeks. We ended up making the drive to Roseville where the transaction was handled efficiently. It was irritating to have to drive ten miles out of the way because the stores don't share ownership nor do reciprocal regional deliveries. It would have been a much worse drive on a normal M-F, so we lucked out. Alyzza definitely made this whole process positive and is a huge asset to the store. Pros: Foot testing, hands on fitting, big selection. Helpful staff if you luck out and get a great associate. Great return policy (30 days, worn outside ok). Cons: Limited brands, no sales, little customer self- selection, potential perceived time pressure to test shoes (I would hate this but my sibkid was fine with it), sizing availability and possible need to travel to pick up shoes. Street parking in Midtown.

This location continues to have great customer service and they carry a wide variety of options…read more On our latest visit we were greeted right away and a team member was able to check on their stock to see if they had the style shoe we were looking for. They were able to pull out the shoes in a couple different colorways for us to check out and I found the pair I was looking for. The pricing is standard for the quality, and if you need help finding the correct shoes for you they are able to measure your feet and look at your stride. They also offer inserts that can help with different needs and will help make the shoes even more comfortable based off the shape of your feet and what workouts you're doing.

Bc my wife retired from working at the Med Center & basically can only wear good supportive shoes due to her plantar fasciitis, neuromas, flat feet, high arches & osteoarthritis in her knee. Yup! Ever since the Walking Store closed their doors she needed to find a local shoe store where she can try on shoes IN PERSON!!! They have been closed for over 4 years though they are online only. Online sucks for her. She needs to try on shoes in person. She prefers to buy shoes close by to home. Unfortunately Nordstrom's closed their doors at Arden. We could probably go to the Rack.
