I first got a pair of maintainers in the early 2000s because of knee pain from a dance injury. They taught me what to do (there's a break in period) and it was the only solution to my pain. Almost ten years later, I was randomly next to the store and went in to look around. I was informed of their relaxers and it was mentioned that they would fit well in my heels. I was about to go to a wedding so I was sold. It has now been about 20 years since I bought my first pair. I've since gotten my maintainers adjusted once (thank you life time warranty) and am feeling knee pain again. I'm considering purchasing the strengtheners now that I'm older and exercising less. If I could give a zero I would. I paid over $1500 for inserts because I have plantar fasciitis rheumatoid arthritis and bunions. It sounded like these would help my feet yet. These people aren't doctors and so they don't know. I tried to return them because they were not helping me at all and they said that they could exchange them. They exchange them and it's been over a year and guess what my feet are no better than what they were before. If you ask me, the good feet store is a rip off. It is incredibly expensive: At least 3 sets of arch supports at 4 hundred dollars each, plus a bunch of socks, cushions and covers that all adds up to more than 2 thousand dollars. And, it does not work. My feet were in more pain when I returned this product than when I bought it. I had felt confident in getting it because I needed some help, and the company had a refund policy: 90 days, if it doesn't work just bring it back. I walked in with a leery attitude because of the yelp reviews. Then when I heard the lady who help explain everything to me in how the arch worked. Well I went ahead and purchased the shoes with the arch. I waited a week before I made my review because the manager who worked with me in buying the life long warranty on the arch. I purchased the inserts in June of 2024. At first they seemed to help the pain I was having in the ball of my right foot. By August my left heel was inflamed and shooting pain when I took a step, they fitted me with a 2nd pair. They never felt good and by Dec I went back. They did fit me with a third set. My heel became worse with the new inserts. I called and was told I was wearing them wrong so went back and step by step did the process. Today I went to a podiatrist and was told you can buy these $$$$ inserts on line for a whole lot less. He put soft inserts in my shoes and gave me a c-pak to clear up the inflammation. Good Feet inserts are not for everyone. if you don't mind switching out inserts three times a day for the rest of your and paying way too much, then by all means get them. This company has an Attorney General complaint with the state of California for fraud. What good is the law if you've already swiped? The manager, Anita, and all of the other employees that work at GoodFeet will try to tell you that the policy is on the receipt but that is NOT LEGAL. The salesmen who waited on me was James at the San Marcos store. Extremely knowledgeable and seem to be interested in my area pf pain & discomfort . That's were it ended. I was in such pain and discomfort I would have bought anything at the time, and that's on me. However, the price I paid for this outrageous product was insane $1700.00. It didn't hit me until a few weeks later my Refrigerator took a nose dive and I had to replace it. For $1300.00 dollars I walked out of Lowe's with a band new Frig signed sealed and delivered & the old taken away!!! This was the worst experience I have ever had with a retailer. This is not a company that stands by their product as evidenced by a 30 day return policy posted on the company site yet the franchises having a separate policy..... which in the end is you walk out the door good or bad and it's yours. I have plantar fasciitis and nothing was working. Ten years ago, I tried The Good Feet Store and got some orthotics. I was able to adjust to them after a few days and have been pain free for 10 years! Recently, I noticed that they were getting a little worn so returned to the store . They have a lifetime guarantee, which they very graciously honored. I returned my orthotics and was given a new pair free of charge. They are worth the money to be pain free. I recently went to our local Good Feet Store with my wife who has a problem with her gait which is compounding a knee problem. We specifically asked if they had an insert that could help change an abnormal gait...and the salesperson didn't know what "gait" meant. He immediately launched into a canned sales pitch reminiscent of a time share presentation. It quickly became apparent that the Good Feet Store's standardized system would not address my wife's specific problem so we left as the salesperson continued droning on. The experience was so unsettling that we checked reviews upon arriving home and realized we had dodged a bullet in the form of grossly overpriced, non-custom inserts that cannot be returned for a refund. These insoles destroyed my feet. I originally got these for back and Hip pain, but it didn't help! And never having problems with my feet before am now in incredible amounts of pain. I called the good feet store and they said growing pains are normal and to come back to get refitted for new insoles. I'm not taking a chance on damaging my body any further. They have you try on a few pairs of insoles & have you walk around the store. Tell you how great their products are. How they will help your feet and back. Let's start things off by saying the customer service is none existent. My grandparents came to the store hoping to buy shoes unfortunately they walked out un-helped and upset. The store has a massive pad lock outside so people do not know if it's open or closed when an associate final walked over and opened the door he replied would I be here if this place wasn't open? Listen if I saw a pad lock on the door I too would question it. The store associates then proceeded to tell them what you see is what you get. WARNING! Know before you go! My grown daughters got me a $300 gift card to The Good Feet store, so we visited one of their stores to see what they had. We expected a retail store, but it's set up more like a consulting visit. After a 45-minute presentation and "fitting" by a sales person, I was presented with their basic three orthotics system. It wasn't custom - it was off the shelf. When the salesperson told me the orthotics system was $1,600 plus tax, I told her that was outrageous. Ended up buying a pair of shoes for both me and my wife. I'm sure they were overpriced, too, but at least we got some value out of the gift card. I'm so disappointed that I am Not able to return two of the three inserts as I'm only using one pair and haven't even opened the bag/box for the other two and shoes. Had nothing short of a great experience at The Good Feet Store in mission valley. Between the customer service and my purchase I left feeling good about my purchase. The pictures attached are me wearing the insoles even in my wedding heels. I wore those heels the entire wedding with the insoles as my savior. Staff is helpful and go through your whole fitting process but their arch support system is very expensive. I'm not sure I'm noticing a big difference yet for the price I paid. Apparently, they will replace worn out supports for a lifetime for free. We shall see. The nice thing for me is you can use them in any shoe and there are 3 levels of support. read more

I went to the store n extreme pain and told the salesman I was in pain. He took me into the back room to work out a very expensive package nd held the documents in the air and read them to me. He kept telling me his Italian grandmother would hit him in the head if he mistreated me. I purchase the package because I was desperate for help and I put down $300 for down payment. I have a receipt and proof from the bank that the money was withdrawn and went to good feet but the store REFUSES to acknowledge my down payment. I have called 5 times and they always say their looking into it. Wells Fargo is financing this mess and they refuse to assist. I have had years of back pain. I have had MRI's, CT scans, x-rays, physical therapy and high doses of prescription strength ibuprofen and not a single Doctor or specialist could tell me what was wrong. After seeing a TV commercial about the Good Feet Store. It said if you have hip, back or knee pain it may be because of your feet. So I figured I would go and see what this meant. I have to admit I didn't have a very positive attitude since I had tried everything and nothing had worked. I decided to purchase the three fitted insoles. It was a hefty price tag for me and I thought I had lost my mind. Well within a couple of weeks......my back pain has completely gone! I have been using GF orthotics for about 5 years (yah, my bad), and I'm finally finished. My guess is they have 5/6 different inserts with slight variances in each size. Just a cookie cutter insert that is determined by their "ink print". They do not work for me at all. The price for their rubber insert that goes over the orthidic is extremally high and they don't last long.
