This review is for the first one, a bedroom ceiling/roof leak that needed mold mitigation, asbestos testing and renovation. March 2025: Leak originally started as a moisture spot on the ceiling in October 2024 but my HOA ignored it. By March 2025, the ceiling had become so compromised that water streamed in like a waterfall during a massive storm. My original contact was Noah - he gave me an estimate (along with two other companies). I really appreciated how Noah was communicative, informative and thorough. And! he didn't badger me w/ phone calls & emails, like the other two companies did. He understood that I said I would take care of the situation when I could b/c I was in the middle of Massage Therapy school. I understood the "risks" of having mold & just shut the bedroom off. Fast forward to August 2025 & now we're ready to take care of the situation. Noah followed protocol of getting an asbestos test first. Luckily, it was negative. Then Spencer, their Mitigation Specialist? built a special containment room, inside the guest bedroom that sealed off the contaminated area. Heavy duty fans stayed on for about 72 hours? so the area could be thoroughly dried after being treated w/ some kind of mold treatment. Noah was available via text when I had questions - that was surprising & super helpful! Once Mitigation was completed, Noah connected me w/ Jacob at their Restoration Department. He sent over a stellar crew led by David & they proceeded to rebuild about a quarter of the bedroom - meant to mention that they had to rip out dry wall, scaffolding, etc. This crew rebuilt and then refinished the area, including re-installing wainscotting and painting the ceiling + walls. The results? This bedroom looks gorgeous! We were thrilled with how thorough/smooth ATH was w/ this process & how the renovation turned out. I had a tenant who never emptied their cats liter box. Even though the litter box was kept one room, it permeated through the entire house and there was no escaping the odor, you could even smell it when approaching the house. I was certain that the house would have to be repainted and the room with the liter box would need new drywall and the wood flooring would need to be replaced. I called Smell Fresh Arizona based off their Yelp reviews and I am so happy that I started here because it was a much simpler and cheaper resolution. They did in fact get rid of the any trace of the odor. They also opened the refrigerator while treating the house and it also removed the normal odor fridges retain when unplugged. When I had to explain what I was looking for in my quote details Bo the owner came back with a very detail explanation as to why my last carpet cleaning less than 4 months (by a different cleaning business) I still smelled an odor and my carpet was still crunchy. Also, we have have 2 small dogs so we have pet odor to add. I had one main living room area approx 350 sq ft to be cleaned, first I thought the quote was slightly high but after conversing thru YELP he explained his process and so I went with ProDecon. I will tell it was worth every cent. No additional cost for this or that, which is refreshing because the other quotes were estimates but not with ProDecon. Bo came met my husband and explained the process and solutions he was very impress with Bo's knowledge about carpet cleaning. I came home from work and the living room carpet was beautiful. The smelly odor from the last cleaning was gone and he used a citrus smell that I love and makes it smell like it was cleaned. The carpet was dried and SOFT again. I was so pleased. To top everything and make this a fabulous experience Bo read another YELP I wrote about my car mats that got stained from a service I had with a tire company. Long story short, we were working on getting our house ready today for a lot of out of town guest showing up tomorrow when our nasty old fish tank broke when we picked it up to go dump it outside and through away. It was full of very old, very nast black and green water that smelled like a dead shark rotted in the sun. The tank water went all over our cream carpet family room floor. It was stained and soaked. The whole house instantly smelled of a rotting cesspool. We found ProDecon on FB randomly and were in a panic so did want to even look around. From the minute we called and explained what had happened and what was this weekend, Bo got on the phone said "I got you. Don't worry I will move my appointments and head over and it will be all better before dinnertime." 20ish minutes later there was this big guy with a huge smile at our door. His huge personality was obvious right there and it works, we both instantly felt total relief. You just knew by the way Bo acted and carried himself that he was the real deal and our house and wedding would be just fine. He got after is and used some Harry Potter wizardry or something and everything was better then it had ever been before. He made us step out for about 15 min while he finished what he needed to do about the dead swamp monster smell in the whole house but when we came back in it was like someone waved some magical wand and took all the air out and replaced it with fresh Caribbean tradewinds. He wouldn't charge us for the special response and extra special services like we insisted. He said "ya got $20 bucks? That should cover it" he was serious we are pretty sure. We made him give us a regular invoice but I still think he cut the bill in half or better. $250 was all he charged and refused to accept a tip we tried to give him multiple times. He said his tip was that he could help make our wedding be the best times of our lives. And with that he was gone as big as life as he had came. If you want the best, ProDecon is it. If you want someone in your house that feels like your favorite crazy fun uncle the minute they hit your door, make sure you ask for Bo because he's that guy.
