I had a tenant who never emptied their cats liter box. When he moved out, the smell was so abhorrent that it didn't even smell like a litter box anymore, it surpassed any other odor this Earth has produced. Even though the litter box was kept one room, it permeated through the entire house and there was no escaping the odor, you could even smell it when approaching the house. I was certain that the house would have to be repainted and the room with the liter box would need new drywall and the wood flooring would need to be replaced. I called Smell Fresh Arizona based off their Yelp reviews and I am so happy that I started here because it was a much simpler and cheaper resolution. They did in fact get rid of the any trace of the odor. They also opened the refrigerator while treating the house and it also removed the normal odor fridges retain when unplugged. The residual odor was inescapable in every space of the condo. Based on Yelp reviews, I contacted Smell Fresh and 1-2 other companies. After learning about the process Smell Fresh uses, I was sold. Michael told me that "you will never know that anyone smoked there." So, I hired him. Long-story short, they delivered on the promise. After a 1-week treatment, there is zero smell of smoke. We own a condo that unfortunately had a heavy smoker living there. He used so much air freshener that it almost knocked you down. We replaced all flooring and painted the entire until but could not get rid of the smell. We have never used a company like this before so didn't know what to expect. This is unbelievable! We recently bought a home that came with an odor. Michael, of Smell Fresh Arizona, explained how his system works throughout your home to COMPLETELY de-odorize it, not leaving any other scent in its place to mask the original smell and not leaving ANY residue on counters, floors....anything! Most importantly, it's non-toxic. It really seemed like a miracle to us, as we were afraid the scent would come back and, now that I understand a little more how it works, I know it won't. I have been working in the biohazard remediation industry (aka: crime scene clean up) for going on 10 years. It is not uncommon for me to have jobs where a person has passed away in their home or apartment and gone undiscovered for several days, weeks and (believe it or not) even months. The smells can be horrendous and often are the worst factor. I say "worst" because under these circumstances there is really one option and that is to practically gut the interior and start with new materials-- new drywall (very worst case), fresh coat of primer/paint on both walls and ceiling, R&R any carpet, etc... I stumbled upon Michael and Smell Fresh AZ by chance on Craigslist of all places. After reading his ad, I knew right away this guy knew what he was talking about. I was intrigued to say the least. I contacted him first just to introduce myself, tell him a little about my own business. A few weeks later I had a job in Wickenburg, AZ where the homeowner had passed away of natural causes and was not found for nearly four weeks. The body was in late stages of decomposition in the master bedroom. While I have used ozone for years and do own my own generators, I knew this would be a chance for me to put Smell Fresh to the test. Not to mention the fact that due to it being summertime and warm temps outside (did I mention the fact that there was no A/C on in the home the entire time the body was there? fyi: this accelerates the rate of decomposition drastically) Let's just say, I knew I could use all the help I could get on this particular property trying to restore it to pre-incident state. To make a long story short, I contacted Michael and explained the situation. While I could hear slight apprehension in his voice (not sure if this was due to the Wickenburg location/travel distance ...or the idea of a decomposing corpse) he agreed to take the job on.
