My dodge challenger was having horrible over heating issues, spark plug issues, ignition coil issues and cylinder issues. After a good diagnostic he was able to determine it stemmed from a bad cam shaft. We swapped the old cam with a stage two cam, installed long headers, oil pump, water pump, head gasket sets (after taking to the machine shop), spark plugs and coolant reservoir tank. My car is running mean so a big thank you to you Nelson and your team for the help, professionalism and genuine niceness. If you are looking for a sincere, knowledge, reasonably priced shop to take your car to, stop here

Don't know if he never replaced the rotors in the first place or if it was a cheap brand or what but had to pay for rotors and brakes a few months later elsewhere because you can't just replace rotors and not the pads. I talked to Moe at Tech Motors, and he said to try some alcohol in the tank to absorb the water. Nice of him to offer a do-it-yourself attempt, but it did not work :( So I had the truck towed to Tech Motors and they dropped the tank, cleaned it completely, ran some clean gasoline and fuel injector cleaner through it, and I was back on the road. I've known the owner Mo for years but the last experience I had was horrible. I would not trust this shop. They charged me to replace a starter which they had replaced only 18 months ago. The service cost over $1,000 and after two weeks and three tows later my car still would not start. Mo told me he didn't want to work on my car again and I should trade in my car cause it was 10 years old and it would give me nothing but problems. I drove it off and the next day it wouldn't start again. I took it to another shop and they repaired the wire connecting the battery to the starter and told me the battery was the wrong one and it was undersized. I replaced that. The starter was good and my car was repaired and it was the battery the wires and the wrong battery which they put in. I'm very disappointed in Mo cause I trusted him but he ended up ripping me off and putting in used/refurbished parts that shouldn't have been put in a BMW. And he couldn't get my car to start because of the battery and the wire connecting it to the starter were shorted out. What a great mechanic to not figure that one out? He would have gotten away with it too if it weren't for the fact that my car wouldn't start after bringing it back two times after the first time I brought it back in. They charged me for a new battery cable end but he had only tightened the one already there. He was charging me for parts that he didn't even replace. It's when my car wouldn't start after the second time I took it back, that's when I started suspecting he was ripping me off and after looking at my past invoices, he most definitely had. My car is driving well now despite the wrong, used and low quality parts being put in a BMW high-performance car so he could save me money? Every time I took my car in, it cost me at least $1,000 so using used, refurbished parts to save money didn't make sense and that's when I started suspecting him of dishonest, unscrupulous behavior. He could make more money off giving me used, refurbished parts and they weren't even BMW refurbished parts. He's telling me he wants to save me money by using these parts are not BMW but I didn't know they were used and refurbished plus but he's ripping me off. He knew what he was doing. It wasn't incompetence. What a nightmare and I'm so glad he told me not to bring my car back cause I now have a better, less expensive and honest mechanic. These people are not honest. They're criminal. If he did it to me, he'll do it to anyone. I don't understand what happened to him to turn him into a dishonest and disreputable mechanic. I believed him cause he seemed to be telling the truth but the first time I caught on to something questionable was when he replaced my battery three years ago with one he told me he charged up and I would need to come in and get a new one. He charged me for a used NAPA the legend professional battery. I called him once as he had instructed me to do but he didn't have any desire to replace it with the correct battery. I paid $367 for a used NAPA undersized battery which he charged up so it may have been a dead battery for all I know that he sold me. He didn't dispute the charge back. I hate it when mechanics think they can rip off women cause we don't know any better and I'm writing this review only because I think people should know this in order to make wise decisions and to hold Mo accountable for ripping me off. You cannot trust this mechanic.

We specifically told them at drop-off that the issue began after two fuses were moved -- yet instead of checking what we told them, they jumped straight to claiming the Electronic Servo Brake Control Unit had failed. That's an extremely costly part and would have meant a repair bill in the thousands of dollars. When we took the car to Honda for a second opinion, they immediately confirmed the problem was exactly what we said from the start -- two misplaced fuses. Once corrected, the car was back to normal at almost no cost. This shows a serious lack of diagnostic ability and integrity at Galceran Auto Electric. They ignored the customer's information, failed to check the basics, and attempted to push an unnecessary, very expensive repair. On top of that, they charged for diagnostic work that clearly wasn't done properly. We strongly recommend caution: always get a second opinion before authorizing repairs here. A good shop listens to the customer and starts with the basics -- Galceran Auto Electric did neither.

What I experienced was psychological pressure, financial manipulation, and a complete lack of professional ethics. After inspecting the car, they insisted on additional repairs, which I agreed to based on their urgency. They then sent me a credit card authorization form, which I completed using a valid corporate Visa card. Later, they claimed it couldn't be processed. I offered a second card in person (from my associate), which they also refused. They rejected three separate Visa cards with no written explanation, and told me I must pay in cash. I waited over two hours for a police civil standby after feeling unsafe and coerced. No one came. I stood outside, a woman alone, surrounded by men who held my vehicle until I complied. I was finally forced to pay $1,327.24 in cash -- against my will, without any transparency, and no official receipt policy disclosed in advance. This place uses payment manipulation to trap customers and make them feel powerless. Avoid at all costs -- and if you ever have to go here, bring a lawyer, a witness, and a police report form.
