Let me just start off this review by saying this will be long so please grab a drink and hear me out for a min! There is not enough words in the English language that can describe how grateful I am for Tracy, Zoe, Charity and yes even charity's husband!! lol.. I am new to Vegas and never been to Fremont. Unfortunately I was physically assaulted pretty bad by a Man all while my man was in the restroom and before my man was able to save me and take care of business I was tossed around by my long hair so bad the knot was unmanageable for me or my man to try and brush it out. We tried for hours and nothing was working. My man found Tracy online and she was so freaking nice and told him to bring me in. When I arrived I was completely beat up and hysterical and embarrassed how I looked, I was beat up and hurting but Tracy was so comforting and sweet to me and caring I just felt deep in my heart I knew I was ok with her. As anyone can imagine I was on edge and scared and completely depressed. I had very long and thick curly hair. I've always had to get lots of layers for my hair and thin it out due to the length and thickness of it but I loved my hair so much. I thought for sure I would need to chop my hair off due to how bad it was. Tracy and Zoe started working on my hair reassuring me I was ok and they got me. When I arrived at this salon it was 6pm! When I left this salon it was 5am and the sun was coming up. Tracy called on Charity to assist her and charity brought in her husband with her and they went to town on my hair while being extremely gentle at the same time they hardly even took a break. For 12 hours these wonderful people stayed standing on their feet ripping apart these knots in my hair and never once did they say passive aggressive comments about being tired or anything they stated overnight literally with a smile on their faces and nothing but a positive attitude. Actually Saying positive attitude is watering it down they were uplifting and happy and nice and supportive and throughout all my moments of crying spells and fear of everything they were so loving and kind and went above and beyond to help me, a person they literally don't know at all! I'm a complete stranger to them and charity came in on her day off and stayed over night to do this for me even though she has a baby at home I'm sure she would have rather wanted to be with her baby she was able to have her mom watch her baby while her and her husband came to help me in the worst moment of my life. It's more than hair for me it was all that happened to me and all the lives that were touched and affected to come together to help me. Charity's husband did an amazing job by not only keeping my spirits up with his funny jokes but this man was walking around helping Tracy and Charity with whatever they needed and was giving them water from a cup with a straw while working on my hair without taking breaks and on top of all that having him there calmed my anxious nerves with only us women in a salon all night long it's kinda scary. I don't know a single person in my life now that I can call on to come over and help me with my hair and yet these people I don't know at all did and I'm eternally thankful I met them and I'll never forget this. My career as a paramedic I'm use to saving lives and working 911 systems and never needing anything from anyone cause I feel like I got this all the time but these people saved my life that day. They let me walk out of that salon with my hair still long and they worked magic. They let me see the light in a very dark day for me. Unfortunately from the trauma i lost a lot of hair maybe more than half and even though it can't look exactly what it did before they got it pretty damn close, I know my hair will grow back and I got to meet these amazing people. My loyalty is strong and real and I can say no matter what I will be back and I'll never forget them. Never! Thank you so much you guys. I wish I had all the money in the world and a magic wand to grant you all your wishes and dreams but I don't and all I can say is if I can ever do anything for you I'll be there! The stylists here are knowledgeable about hair, hair cuts, and most importantly (to me) hair coloring/color theory. I like to go from one color to the next throughout the year, be it fashion colors or more traditional tones, and The Goth Salon of Las Vegas has not let me down. From bright, vibrant, or even multicolored hair styles, to more neutral tones, the stylists here -have your back- And, while Las Vegas is chock-full of choices for hair salons...Some of the reasons that this salon stands out head and shoulders above the rest is the knowledgable, friendly, appropriate, and personalized customer service each person tailors to their client's wants and needs. I found the goth salon through social media in hopes to be booked asap. i scheduled a couple days before and the process was very easy. upon arriving, i noticed how fun the decor was and how lively the environment was with staff and clients. i met lexie, who was my hair dresser for the day. i told her about my hair history and how my past experiences weren't necessarily the best or executed the way i had hoped. i also have done a lot of at home treatments so the condition of my hair over time had become very complicated and blotchy up to this point. because of my past experiences i was a little worried at first on how the session would go but i was pleasantly surprised at how amazing the service was. because of the condition of my hair it did take a long time, but i would rather have that then someone who is careless and rushes through the process. lexie and tracy both worked on my hair 10 hours tirelessly, perfecting it to my exact vision and i am beyond appreciative of it. i know it was a challenge but shout out to those two for making me feel pretty and so well taken care of! the crew here is very friendly and down to earth! thank you again :) read more

I called hours in advanced hoping to get a service the day of, I was told "yeah we got an opening at a certain hour" and was told to come in. People overall seemed pretty cool and chill, very much a close set of friends and friendly people but I waited an hour there. I understand things get a little busy and overwhelmed but not a single update throughout the entire hour plus I was waiting. Simply put if they don't have time, I would have appreciated the update. Don't let me just wait twiddling my thumbs. I would have been completely okay with a "sorry we can't after all" and I would have just rescheduled. I have to express a huge thank you to Nadia and Tracy for treating me with consideration and kindness as we navigated how to reach my hair goal. I had a hard time expressing exactly what I wanted, and instead of telling me that it didn't make sense, Nadia asked me for more reference photos. She also invited her peers' opinions to ensure she could do a great job. I'm very thankful to Tracy for weighing in and helping me translate my thoughts. It was honestly a really special experience. She easily could've just told me I was asking for too much. Nadia listened with curiosity and without showing frustration if I asked for something to be altered. My questions were met with a lot of patience. I can't express how appreciative I am for the effort that went into ensuring I loved my hair, as well as being allowed the space to figure it out as we went. **As a side note, she shaved my sides totally bald at my request. My hair grows stupidly fast and I wanted a few extra days out of my cut. If you are a little shy or anxious, I highly recommend booking with Nadia because she has a lot of fun. She clearly loves her job and is very animated and silly. My partner has very bad anxiety and Nadia offered for me to pull a chair up and sit with her in case she felt indecisive. I could not be more pleased with my experience at the Goth Salon with Val! I was greeted immediately upon coming in and offered a water soon after! Talk about great customer service, especially in this heat! I sat at Val's station while we went over what we were doing, she explained she had to grab some supplies and we started! She was thorough and watched closely as the bleach did it's thing so I wouldn't over cook. The goal was to correct the brass color I had done to myself trying to achieve a beautiful lime green. I asked about what products to used to try to keep my color vivid as long as I could and Val had great recommendations. Everyone and I mean EVERYONE in the salon came by her station and asked what we were doing today. Everyone; stylists, receptionists, owner, was so kind and friendly and I don't think I've ever been somewhere where I was treated so nicely. They all made me like I was their best friend coming in for a normal service even though this was my first service there! What a wonderful experience. I left feeling beautiful and sooooo happy Val fixed me up! The same night I went to Gothica at Swan Dive and saw all the stylists. Again, some of the most friendly hotties I've encountered; they all said hi and complimented my hair again! Ya'll are too sweet! Later that weekend I had several people come up to tell me and tell me how much they loved my color. Even another stylist from another salon asked me what color was used and how fantastic it was. I love, love, LOVE this salon! The decor is absolutely gorgeous, and the people who work there are very sweet. I love how it's a female working environment, but the stylists help each out, encourage each other, and the owner came over to show my stylist Charity something about my pixie haircut, and Charity paid close attention, and the owner wasn't condescending to Charity. It's actually a time in there, and that's what made it great for me, along with my stylist Charity, who paid attention to what I said, and my red hair color had just the perfect amount of orange in it, and I'm enjoying my pixie too. She cut my hair so well, and did so great with my color, that I may have to wait until July to get my hair touched up. She didn't try to pressure me to go with my natural color, dark auburn because I'm a natural redhead, but I like seeing orange in my red hair color. She also didn't try to get me to let my hair grow out, or asked " What's husband going think? How does your husband like your hair?" She knew without my telling her, that I've got the opinion that it's my hair, and I can do what I want to with it. I'll tell you right now that if there was ever a time that Charity couldn't take me, that I wouldn't worry because I trust the other stylists to do a great job on my hair too, but hopefully Charity can always do my hair. The lavender shampoo and conditioner that Charity used on me was just heavenly, so of course I bought some, and I loved that no one attempted to pressure me into buying it. They also didn't make me feel self conscious about being in a wheelchair, and the stylist next to Charity helped Charity with me at the shampoo bowl without complaining. Other stylists were talking to me, and I loved that. The experience was great, and I can't wait to try out their other services. I highly recommend this salon, and you don't have to be Goth to get served, but I've been Punk, Heavy Metal, and Goth combined for a long time now, and it was great to have a stylist that wasn't afraid of doing anything to my hair. I had been scared off having any waxing done by a bad salon in the past and when I saw this salon on my social media I knew it was going to be more up my alley. They did not disappoint at all!! I walked into this salon honestly feeling nervous. A lot of places make you feel judged the second you sit down, but this salon was the complete opposite. I felt comfortable the moment I walked in. I even told them I had just come out of a depression episode and hadn't had the energy to take care of my hair. Instead of acting weird about it, my stylist was so gentle and kind. She washed my hair, brushed through it with so much patience, and then styled it beautifully. Not once did I feel embarrassed or looked down on--just cared for. I scheduled an appointment for my daughter to get her ends cut. The girl over the phone told me the price would be $40. I get there at 10:25 am (being courteous and mindful of peoples time and not being late) when my appointment was at 10:30. I walked in checked in and waited until 10:47 for them to be ready to cut her hair. My daughter had beautiful long long hair that hasn't been cut in over 5 years. I just wanted the dead ends gone. She starts the hair cut no parting, didn't wet the hair nothing just started cutting. Okay fine, after the hair cut I go to pay and she tells me it's $45? I was like ok whatever I'm not gonna be rude or anything over $5. I hand her $50 and with a straight face and slight attitude she says " thanks" and just gives me a blank stare. Doesn't offer to give change or anything I honestly would have told her to keep it but it's the fact that it wasn't even considered or offered. I was ticked but whatever. I get home and look at her hair good and the left side is so much shorter than the right. The back of her hair is all different types of lengths when it was just a straight cut. I really wanted to love this salon but I will definitely not be going back and will not recommend to anyone.
