Two months ago we went see Solo Mia and it was a normal experience.Today went to see a movie and they installed self serve machines for popcorn and sodas. The movie tickets are the same yet I HAVE TO FIX IT MYSELF. No happy person smiling at me or nothing!!! What is this world coming to......MACHINES AND NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I came here on a Wednesday evening. It was almost $27 for two adult tickets, which seems steep. The seats were great - fully reclining and very comfortable. There aren't any seat heaters, but surprisingly the temperature was perfect. It wasn't hot or freezing like most theaters. There's no staffed ticket counter so you either buy tickets online or use the self-serve screens when you walk in. One of the employees came over to help me at the screen, and she was very friendly. From what I could tell, they don't offer student discounts. Also, children are considered up to 11 years old, which seems odd - you'd think they'd include anyone 17 and under. They also don't allow anyone under 18 into the theater alone, and if you're 18, you can't bring a younger friend unless someone 21 or older is with you. I don't find that fair, especially for parents who want to drop off their teens for a movie night. The price difference between medium and large popcorn and drinks isn't bad, only about 75 cents to a dollar more. You get a refill on the large soda, and probably the popcorn too, though I didn't ask. I wanted water at first, but they only offer tap water from a fountain, no filtered option, which feels like a sneaky upsell. Overall, the seats are very comfortable, and the concession prices aren't terrible, especially compared to California. But not offering filtered water and restricting minors from attending movies alone just doesn't make sense. read more

Over $15 for a large tub of stale cold popcorn. This was the worst popcorn I have ever had. I wish we would get a Cinemark or a AMC here in Lafayette. Santikos is a joke with their outrageous prices. read more

The slushie machines are truly disgusting there is mold and dust all over the dispensing tubes. The theater seats aren't bad but they could be wiped off better. read more

Very easy to purchase tickets online, walked right in, was greeted at the door, the recliner seats are fabulous, very cozy to watch the movie. And the lumens, sound and clarity were amazing. read more

Clean bathrooms, good sound, and comfortable chairs. Now the negatives - very expensive pricing. I was asked in an aggressive manner if I was bringing in food in my handbag. I suppose they will start patting the customer down next. This experience has left a very bad taste in my mouth, and I now go to the Grand 16 on Johnston. No one has to be harassed when paying over $40 just to bring your family to see a movie. If Grand 14 is having a problem with folks bringing in food - consider lowering your food prices. A watered-down drink should not cost $7 or more dollars, and a small salty popcorn should not be over $10. We should be questioning management about the obscene prices. read more

I took the kids to the summer flicks series (free movie, $5 for a kids popcorn and drink). The theater our movie was in had the large reclining seats, which are awesome. It was the perfect outing during theses hot summer months (especially on rainy days!). read more

This theater is clean and the staff is friendly. The concessions are as expected, which is to say plentiful junk food at high prices. Some theaters have been remodeled to include reclining seats. However, the theater we visited this week was not and the seats, while comfortable, definitely show their age. It will be nice when all of the theaters are updated. In the meantime, this is still a good spot to catch a show. read more

It's a solid movie theater. Not only do they play what's new, but they especially play classic movies, as of May 2021. Great people work here and they have the comfy recliner seats in most of the rooms. Five stars! read more

OK I must say this place has the most comfortable movie seats of any theater I've been to. Tons of space and just super comfortable all around. Saw Cruella. This is a nice, clean and safe theatre. Luckily we are only 5 minutes from here so it's convenient too. The popcorn is fresh and the service is generally pretty quick. The only reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because the newly remodeled Grand theatre on Johnston has more theaters and now has a bar where you can get a drink while you wait for your show. read more

My husband and I saw A Star Is Born a couple of weeks ago. Everything was so clean and everyone was nice. One complaint was the popcorn which was too salty, WAY too salty. But that could have been a fluke. Everyone makes mistakes. I feel safe there, and I love the casual feel. read more

Worst experience ever, will not EVER be coming back. The night woman manager is completely rude. I had a family emergency & needed a refund in a hurry. She then proceeded to take her time to get my refund then gave me my card back with no receipt. She then proceeded to tell me I had to wait till they took care of paying customers. After waiting, she said she couldn't print it so she had to go to the office. I waited for 30 minutes! She finally started towards me, walking slower than a snail. Completely & utterly rude. I was in line at the ticket booth and there was a long line there was a worker named Kimberly and she was very rude, had an attitude, and did not have a smile on her face.
