If you have AMC Stubs, you can buy the tickets online and the convenience fee is waived. I think it's roughly $12 per year.

If you're like me and love a good bargain without sacrificing quality, AMC's $5 Tuesday deal is the answer to your midweek blues. Imagine this: you stroll into the theater on a Tuesday evening, pre-purchased tickets in hand, grab your combo drink and popcorn, and settle into your huge, reserved seats. You're feeling smart about enjoying a cinematic treat without breaking the bank! For one adult and two children, plus two combo deals (check out the pictures in this review), we watched and snacked for under $30! Good luck topping that in this economy! Here's the lowdown: There's a huge parking lot, a mini bar inside, and a massive concession stand. The bathrooms are spacious and very clean, the theaters are pristine, the seats are comfy and fully recline, each with its own cupholder. The staff are friendly enough to make your night out feel special, even on a budget. Pro Tips: -Parents with kids under 10, opt for the 6:30 showing. For those with older kids or adults-only outings, aim for anything starting after 7 to avoid the 'kid crowd' and enhance your experience. -Don't rush; movie trailers before the main feature always run for about 20 minutes. -Ask the concession employee about their $5 Tuesday combo to snag a drink and popcorn for just $5! Whether you're flying solo, on a date night, or hanging out with friends, AMC's $5 Tuesday Movies are a win-win. Enjoy a great movie, save some cash, and maybe even sneak in a few laughs or shed a tear (because, let's face it, movies do that to us). So, next Tuesday, skip the Netflix binge and treat yourself to a cinema experience that won't empty your wallet. Five stars for AMC's $5 Tuesday Movies--you've made our Tuesdays awesome again!

Decent theater, the seats were really cozy but the aesthetic is a little outdated. Nevertheless, still an enjoyable experience.

Arrive on time if you want to get concessions. The items are over priced but what do you expect when you go to the movies it's not the dollar store lol. The theater (13) we were in was so hot I had to step out a few time because I was having coughing fits.

This was a toss up between two and three stars - too bad there isn't a 2.5. This is our family's cinema of choice because of relative proximity to where we live. Now that Oneal Lane is no longer a psychotic mess it's a whole lot easier to access than it once was, but it's still pretty much one way in and one way out which is a logistical nightmare on a busy night. Anyway, the reasons I felt moved to review it at all are three-fold and all I guess in a way reflect that I'm part of a different generation - an older generation - that had different expectations. Not to "date" myself, but when I was a kid I saw Star Wars for 50 cents at a cinema down in Tigerland that no longer exists - that's how old I am. So this review is basically technologically and culturally oriented. 1) Outside of the enterance stand three automated machines from which one may purchase tickets without waiting in line. None, not a single one, of these machines was working today. 2) When we walked in I noticed a change at the concessions counter. Standing beside the counter on one end were two large dispensers for carbonated beverages - the sort with a touchscreen that allow you to pick from an overabundance of selections to fill your cup. Now, IN THEORY, one would expect that this would actually speed up the line at the counter whilst we wait for popcorn and Juji Fruits, but the reality is that you still have to stand in line just to buy a cup. It sort of reminds me of the olden days when I studied Industrial Organizational Psychology and time and motion "efficiency" studies were all the rage. I would suppose an organization as large as AMC actually did do some sort of study before making this change, but the reality is that the ONLY time saved is for the people behind the counter who take your money and give you the cup. You and I, the customers, still have to a) stand in line to buy our cup, and then b) stand in a different line to fill it at one of the two available beverage stations. Presumably they save time and money, but you and I get to stand in two lines instead of one. 3) Maybe those of you under the age of 30 or so don't realize it, but there was a time when you didn't go into a theatre and watch commercials for cars and phone and whatever AND THEN watch previews, then you got the movie. Now again, one can only presume there's a financial component to this entire business model. Today I watched commercials for the new Lincoln SUV, a car I wouldn't spend that sort of money on even if I could afford it, and a host of other commercials before I was ALLOWED to watch the previews and the movies that together with my partner we had spent near $20 in order to see. It's sort of like imagining commercials on Pay Per View or a rented DVD (something I'm sure someone out there is considering even as I type). The idea that I'm paying a premium price to watch commercial advertising just sort of really pisses me off. Call me old fashioned, but if I wanted to be bombarded by commercials I'd just stay home and watch broadcast television. All in all it's an ok cinema - nothing particularly "grand" about it - nothing particularly inspiring. But at the end of the day, overutillization of technology and the overtly "commercial" abuse of a "captive audience" which is paying an ever-increasing price for ENTERTAINMENT and not freaking commercials, or to stand in lines for the profits and convenience of the corporations who run these places well... If the movie going experience becomes much more expensive or too much more depersonalized, then frankly we're going to junk our old analog (yes we still don't have or need HD or bluray) televison and go out and buy a really huge wall-sized SHDTV and say "screw it" to the theatre industry all-together. I changed my mind - 2 stars is all they get. When the experience that is being sold is ALL about service and entertainment then I will give the cinema industry as a whole a good rethink. Until that day however, it's time for we as consumers to stand up and say that while filming movies may be the "Entertainment Industry," the delivery of films to the movie going public is a "SERVICE INDUSTRY!" If a cinema multiplex cannot differentiate itself by content and the quality of the service then they're all just pretty much the same.... "Meh." Either they will realize that fallilng ticket sales are the result of losing sight of the fact that the experiential nature of going to see a movie isn't just about seeing the film but about the experience one has in the doing, or we'll all just wait for it to come out on bluray. When you can spend a couple of grand on a 6 foot wide television that looks just like being there and a sound system that'll blow you away, what is it really that they're selling? Standing in line? Edit: Just saw the news Monday night and ticket sales are down at cinemas by a revord 44% from all time lows for the 4th of July weekend. What's that tell you?

They are remodeling this theater. The new seats recline and are comfortable. They are a little narrow if you have wider hips but one armrest lifts up to allow more room. They are still undergoing construction, adding a bar like the one by the mall, so still a little messy. The cost for snacks and sodas are expensive, but that is the case at any theater. Love the new upgrades. Can't wait until it's done.

There are several large flat-screen TV's usually tuned to football or baseball, so it's a great place to catch the game. Thursday and Saturday nights also have karaoke, which is my favorite. Adam is the regular karaoke dj - he's great! The bartenders and management are all friendly and know what they're doing. It's a bar filled with regulars and they know almost everyone by name. Being a bar I guess I should cover the drinks - they have all the standard domestics, several on draft, a few Louisiana beers and a few imports. Decent selection of liquors for mixed drinks, very small wine selection. I think most folk could get the drink they're looking for as long as you're not expecting a craft taproom or fancy whiskey bar. It's a straight bar - so no food. But if you're hungry there's a Pizza Hut and Greek and Chinese restaurants all within 100 yards. You can call in your order, have it delivered to the Tiger or just walk over and pick it up to bring back. Just ask your bartender - they have the menus and phone numbers! There's not much to complain about, but to justify not giving that last star, I'd say it's sometimes too crowded, especially Saturdays. Ideally they'd have about twice the square footage and another 15' or more of bar. Things are a little awkward now since EBR banned smoking in bars too - there's not a well-planned option for smokers like a deck with a bar so there's a lot of in and out the front door for smokers. The smoke free barroom is a nice development but also an inconvenience to the many smoking customers. I notice the Yelp profile for here is quite old. Ownership changed after the Great Flood of 2016 and I think the bar was pretty much gutted and rebuilt, so the profile really needs to be updated.

The waitress although very polite and welcoming although after our food came and we were eating she proceeded to light up a cigarette and smoke close to our table while still talking to us. Honestly if we were not honest folks where we were sitting and where our cars were parked we could have literally gotten up and walked out and no one would have been the wiser because she disappeared for close to an hour when we decided to go look for her. We pulled up at and was given the menu with friendly curbside service. We ordered the LA adjustment with two extra shots. The server informed us that the LA adjustment was not fully frozen in the machine yet. I stuck with the same flavor since I usually like my drinks on the rocks anyway. To our disbelief, the server walked out with two large plastic containers. I was confused because I thought they would come in a large styrofoam cup. I also noticed that my friend's daiquiri looked more like juice and was not frozen. I'm pretty sure none of the machines had frozen daiquiris. I really did enjoy the taste of my drink but if you advertise daiquiris then you should have it available in its correct form.
