This place is visually charming, and there's clearly a lot of thought put into the menu. Unfortunately, the execution really took away from our experience. Our party of three (on a not busy Thursday evening) finished our appetizers before our drinks arrived. One of the cocktails we tried was nothing like its name or description - which only works if it exceeds expectations. Pizzas are tasty, sometimes a little burnt on the crust. I love it when this place has live music. But it's the third time here and the service and food has been inconsistent, and that's a bummer. Our second time having breakfast here and we have loved the place. In the summer, we sat out on their back deck and loved the view. We got Pork Belly Benedict, and Farmer breakfast. We loved both the Pork Belly Benedict and the Farmers breakfast. On the Farmers breakfast we got fruit instead of potatoes, and got a bowl of great fruit (apples & berries). We loved that. In most places, when we ask for fruit instead of potatoes we get a bunch of melon pieces, this was so much better. read more

The Grange is a charming farm-to-table restaurant, in a former grange hall. We kicked things off with the onion rings--crispy, lightly battered, and packed with flavor. For our mains, we tried the bolognese and the fried chicken sandwich with bacon. The buttermilk-marinated chicken breast was perfectly tender and flavorful. Cocktails were excellent. I went there last Friday night for a change of pace. I had not been to the Grange for quite a while, and I thought I should break out of my habit of going to someplace very local, and go to a place with a short drive. I was NOT disappointed! First, the service was quick, the menu showed a commitment to "farm to table", and the place was clean! I was seated at a table on the back deck, and I was warm on a chilly night because of the overhead gas heaters. The beet salad was wonderful. The contrast in tastes between the yellow beets and grapefruit was excellent! That got my mouth watering. My main course was "Mary's Sorrell Stuffed Chicken Breast." The mashed potatoes and vegetables were excellent, and the chicken was over the top! I couldn't eat the entire portion (as I was saving room for dessert), so I had a great lunch on Saturday. And as for the dessert - "Flourless Chocolate Cake" - you better have someone to help you eat it! I wanted the "Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble" but it sold out before I got there. So I had to "settle" for the chocolate cake. It is so rich, and so good! The cake with a cup of coffee was such a wonderful way to wrap up a dinner. read more

We went to this place for pizza and wine. The table was ready super fast, and we ordered two pizzas and a bottle of wine. The food came in a flash, but not our drinks. We asked our waitress, and she completely forgot about it. Then, after another 15 minutes, we asked again, and she said, "Oh, let me check it out!" Nothing happened, so my husband asked her to cancel the wine. Her apology was that she couldn't open a bottle because she was under 21, really !! I think they don't care about their customers, It wasnt so crowded for forgot it that long ..We remembered why we never went back to this place!! read more

Easy street parking outside. But we also missed the prime lunch hour so that may explain the parking available and also the number of customers dining inside (and outside on the patio). We missed the hours on the menu switch so couldn't try a lot of the dishes that we wanted to try which was a shame. We got a couple of pizzas, a salad and a flatbread. I thought the pizzas were done pretty well, but the portion was probably a bit lighter considering the price. The salad was better than I expected (normally don't go for beets) but it was done really well. The flatbread wasn't for me. It was very average, same with the sauce that came with it. Minor complaints on the service since it took way longer than it should have for our food to come out. We had to go and inquire about it and somehow our order was forgotten and the kitchen never started on it. Seating and overal ambiance wasn't too bad, but there were flies buzzing around inside. Our last few visits to the Grange have been nothing less than fantastic. We've tried nearly everything g on the menu but are partial to the Caesar Salad and the Charred Carrots. Pizzas are the best in the valley. The ingredients are fresh, local and the sourdough crust is a meal on its own. AND-if you love trout-you will love this newish addition to the menu! We came here for Saturday brunch. The mimosa was great, as mimosas are! However, I wasn't a huge fan of the coffee delight drink. As for food, we had the shakshuka, rancher's potatoes, and the French toast. Shakshuka was flavorful with a bit of spices. You can't go wrong with a potato, and the rancher's potatoes were just delicious- crispy, savory, and filling. The French toast was also good, but would recommend a savory side with it to balance the sweet. The restaurant itself is a farm themed, with beautiful decor, good service. It's usually pretty easy to find street parking near the restaurant but there is a nearby parking lot on the same street. Overall, I'd come back and perhaps try the wood fired pizzas. So good!! We ordered a pizza (which was outstanding), a Snap Pea Caesar (delicious, fresh & I enjoyed the variation) & tempura mushrooms (excellent tempura w/ an addictive sauce). We couldn't decide on dessert so we got two! The Lemon Pavlova was light & refreshing and the Drunken Strawberry Mille Feuille was delightful. Service was pleasant & quick. This is a very cozy place to stop by and have lunch. We came right after lunch so the menu only included salads and pizza. Wish I could have tried the other menu items but sadly that was not happening. I do suggest NOT to come during the afternoon hours for pizza. The shift change really hurt the timing of food. I would say we waited about an hour before our food actually hit the table. The pizza was good! Much better than your run of the mill pizza places. The only let down was the portion size and the flavor. I can see what they were trying to go for but the toppings were on the lighter side and could use more flavoring. Made a reservation for 8 people, and was pleasantly surprised that they could fit us in somewhat last minute on a Saturday evening. My wife and I have eaten here many times before, and love the service and the food. This time, was no exception. The food was great, and mostly the service was too. However, the server apparently missed one of the food orders (for my wife). They didn't say that they had missed it but just said that the order would be out soon. Then, when the food (pasta dish) came out, the noodles weren't cooked all the way, with clumps of pasta being inedible. My wife ate around those parts, but this wasn't the quality that we are used to from the Grange. I was also surprised by the lack of ownership of the issue. The server did say that he would take care of it. When the bill came, that dish was marked down by 50%, but the reason given was that the patron didn't like the dish. I'm sure that's just a coding issue, but added in to my concerns about the restaurant taking some ownership of the issue: not writing down 1 of 8 orders, and then rushing the dish so much that it wasn't properly prepared. We'll be back because we like the restaurant, but hopefully the service will be better. Everyone else loved their food and the experience. read more

Breakfast /brunch is better... Every time I try out the dinner menu again I'm impressed with the fancy menu, and always underwhelmed by the actual meal. We tried again tonight and the cocktails were tasty, per usual. But the entrees are always spendy for what they are and tonight was the best example... I ordered lamb shepherds pie, and what I got was a plate of mashed potatoes with a few carrots and very few morsels of what I assume was lamb. It tasted fine, but I didn't want to pay $30 for fancy mashed potatoes. They were kind and knocked it off the bill after my added chicken didn't show up. Drinks were also slow. We asked to split the bill and they split it by boys and girls.. had to ask that to be redone by what I felt was obvious couples. Strange altogether. Just know what you're getting into if you go. I'm sure not all meals are the same and may be worth the price tag. read more

We made a Mother's Day dinner reservation for 6 by phone, with the manager, the day prior. When we arrived, they did not have our reservation written down and were clearly overbooked. The manager apologized and offered a table on the patio (cold, rainy and otherwise unseated). We accepted, as it was 7pm on a holiday. Service delays were long as we sat alone out on the empty patio, and absolutely no complimentary dessert or drinks were offered to account for their error. In fact, even a dip of ranch dressing for our pizza was charged $2 extra. And, an automatic 20% gratuity was added to our $500 bill. When you make a big reservation error on a holiday, AT LEAST comp drinks or dessert and don't leave your table literally out in the cold and charge them $500. read more

Bacon Blue Cheese Pizza $28: Price felt a bit steep, but the pizza was tasty. I do wish there was a more prominent sauce but that might've made the pizza too soggy with all the other toppings. I think this is good for 2 people to share or 1 hungry person. I gave 3 slices to my friends and still got full. Smoked Brisket Sandwich $28: Again this makes for an expensive entree for brunch, but I also thought this was good based on the couple bites I had. The meat was really tender and paired well with the slaw on the sandwich. I would have loved a good BBQ sauce with this, but the creole remoulade served on the side was tasty. The onion rings were so good and crispy!! My only complaint is that the serving size wasn't bigger. Pork Belly Benedict $22: I only took one bite of this, and found the lemon in the hollandaise a bit overpowering. Brookie Sundae $12: Brookie = brownie + cookie. A fine way to end the meal but not super memorable. There's a fridge out front with various beverages. They're not listed on the menu, so check it out before you're seated in case there's something you want to enjoy with your meal! I went with a bottle of Sauk Farm Honeycrisp Apple Cider $8 (non-alcoholic). My friend really enjoyed it and bought a bottle to bring home! ***** My Star Ratings: 1 Star - Terrible. We tried having dinner at The Grange last night, July 3. Without being informed prior to being seated at the bar area (which we do enjoy sitting at the bar), the restaurant was out of most of the items on the menu. They could not make any pizza, had none of their protein plates, only had the hamburger and some salads available. Since we had already ordered a drink prior to finding all this out, we finished our drinks and left. Since we have been to The Grange on many occasions when they did not have some menu items available, this was the last straw and triggered this review. In addition, we have had several instances where the service was extremely slow and it felt like we would not be served our meal even when they did have what we wanted to order. Last night while sitting at the bar, we saw an individual walk up to the bar and stated, "We have been waiting over 30 minutes to get our drinks, and I believe these are them sitting right here". He tried to just pick them up and take them to his table, but the staff did not want him to do so and insisted they bring them to him. Pre-covid, The Grange was by far our favorite and absolute go to restaurant. Consistent great food, good service, and all that a good restaurant should be. Covid really broke everything and hit the restaurant industry really hard. However, the good restaurants have recovered but The Grange just seems to have lost their way since the pandemic. It is really a shame. We do not intend to return and cannot recommend it to others. read more

Patio yesterday was reserved for "ticketed patrons" which was pathetic based off how little people there were on a nice day, and the inside was half empty, but alas they were not taking walk ins. Strange seeing how your online reservation system shows every time slot available... Other restaurants have better staff/management, food, and integrity. Hope this place gets their act together soon or else they will not have any patrons left to fill their already empty tables. read more

Love this cute place! It is located on Duvall's Main Street. You can park on that street. There's always a spot. Walk through this nice street. There is always something to watch or just admire the lights at night :) We went for dinner. We waited about 15-20 minutes to be seated. The place was very busy. I guess it was for The March of the Vegetables around lunch? My guess it's that they are always busy on a weekend. Good for them! Very loud. Sometimes we had to speak a bit louder. At the entrance you may find some natural remedies, soap, etc. This gives the place some coziness :) We had a table on the middle. We notice it gets busy by families, dates, celebrations, girlfriends. Cool vibe. We ordered the beet orange salad (my favourite!! Fresh tangy flavour. Plenty), the Mac n cheese with delicious brisket that just melted (we found this was the best part of the dish), a pizza, drinks with bourbon base (colour was very orangey. Not my favourites. Small but very pricey :(), and a carrot cake. Unfortunately, they were out of the apple one and tried the carrot cake. Not my best choice. Service was very nice and friendly. Unfortunately, it is very busy. Did I previously say that? But even when crowded, they managed to be polite and had a smile. The down part os that it took an hour to get our food since we stepped in. Lunch at The Grange: A Disappointing Affair I recently visited The Grange in Duvall for lunch with my family, and I must say, my experience was underwhelming. As someone who looks forward to a hearty lunch, the menu presented to my family and I felt like a continuation of breakfast with its lack of substantial lunch options. The breakfast offerings might delight those with a morning palate, but the lunch section was confined to vegetable plates. In search of something more fulfilling, I asked our server if they served flatbreads or any dishes rich in carbs or protein. His response was a no, followed by a suggestion to order a salad with a side of bread with jam. It was hard to tell if this was a passive-aggressive remark or a genuine recommendation, but it left me incredibly disappointed nonetheless. I have also attached a photo of the lunch menu portion to this review. It's worth noting that my dinner experiences here have been exceptional, deserving a full 5-star rating. However, the lunch menu, which leans heavily towards vegan options, was a letdown. It lacked the inclusivity and variety one would expect from a midday meal. Who would fancy just a piece of broccoli or a seared carrot for lunch? While I won't be returning for lunch, I'll remain a repeat customer for their dinner service. I just hope that The Grange considers expanding their lunch menu to cater to a wider range of tastes and preferences and be more inclusive. I will note, if you are a fan of breakfast food, the lunch/breakfast menu would be a positive to you. I will also add, the atmosphere is nice and lovely. It's a wonderful place to have a meal. If you want fast food drive on to Redmond or Issaquah; this is a quality dining experience prepared with great care, and it shows. We've had nothing from the menu that didn't live up to expectations - very fresh, prepared with care, beautifully presented, scrumptious and flavorful. I'd make the trip for French toast and crab cakes alone, not to mention the other extraordinary offers - super-fresh-local ingredients PİZZA not to be missed. The first time I visited The Grange was summer of 2021; I met with two friends for lunch and it was absolutely superb. This time was for a breakfast meeting. We were seated promptly at an outdoor table after we were asked if we'd like to do so, and then we were forgotten completely. After about 20 minutes another server looked over at us and asked if anybody had been by yet. We responded "not yet"; that server was kind enough to bring us water and seek our server's attention. Our server arrived, hurriedly took our order, and left as quickly as they arrived at our table. After another 20 minutes or so, the first server said nervously, "have your plates already been cleared? We advised, "no our food hasn't arrived yet". The kindly server went to search for our server again. Our server came out with our plates a few minutes later. Everything was delicious and abundant. We both left behind food on our plates as neither one of us was going straight home and it was a very hot day; a takeout container would have spoiled in the car. Our server did thank us for our patience. In all breakfast took about 1.5 hours, more time than I had planned to spend. I will return again when in the area. Maybe it was an off morning. Tl;dr: food is decent, service has a lot of room for improvement. Our party of 5 was seated for nearly 30 minutes before any drink order was taken. I get it. They're short-handed. But if you get some beverages into people, they tend to be more forgiving of longer wait times. Yet even after drinks came, I believe it was a full hour before any sustenance was placed before us. The interior is very charming and farm-core, but the fully-wooden, uninsulated interior does not lend itself to intimate conversation. As a result, we asked to be moved to the back patio, which, in these mild summer days, is a great option to enjoy the evening light and bring your dogs for a more relaxed environment. Pizzas were solid. Very QQ crust and generous toppings. Pork fries were interesting (think fish sticks, but pork). Burgers were good but due to mistiming in the kitchen, they came out lukewarm. If they can get the issues with service time sorted, easily bump up to 4. As it is, now, however, I don't feel the price you pay is justified. read more

My mom and I really enjoyed our dinner at the Grange this evening! We made a reservation and got seated around 5:15, the dining room filled up quickly shortly after. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. We ordered the blistered carrots appetizer. It was pretty good definitely farm fresh the carrots were a bit tough but the sauces to accompany were nice. Our pizzas were fabulous! We ordered the heirloom pesto and the bleu cheese pear bacon (gluten free), super good! The lemonade was fresh and hit the spot. Plenty of leftover pizza. Like others have said, service is a real issue as the employees don't seem to realize the customer is what keeps them in business. I was here with my cousin, aunt, and uncle. It was everyone's first time. The ambiance was super cute. We were the second customer that arrived during opening. Everything we ordered was delicious but the stand out items were the salad (that came with the crab cake), the pizza (not pictured), the cobbler, and special black cod (not pictured). Omg soooo good! I'll come back with my husband and mom in law for her birthday. We were there from 5-7 pm. Each course took maybe half an hour to come out. I thought $17 for 3 pancakes was pretty expensive. I assumed they must be really really good. I was expecting something special at that price. To my dismay and utter disappointment the pancakes were completely raw and runny inside. Normally, I would just ask for new pancakes but given that they charge so much and claim to have such wonderful chefs. I lost my appetite. If you can't cook a pancake you don't belong in a kitchen and are not a chef. They need to get over themselves. The food is just ok. Nothing special. It's not magical. Not worth their bloated prices. The Grange has quickly become a family favorite. Let's start with the pizzas: As someone in their late-30s, secretly wishing he could still write "early-30s," I've eaten a lot of pizzas from across the country. And until the Grange, I'd have firmly put myself in the camp of "A pizza, by definition, must be covered with cheese." Enter the Conserva pizza. I don't know if I misread the menu, I don't know if I misheard the waiter, but somehow I ended up with a cheeseless pizza infront of me. Not being one to ever say no to pizza, with or without cheese, I took my first bite, and was instantly transformed. A new world of possibilities opened up to me. I should note, while their other pizzas have cheese, and I've also tried the Conserva with cheese, nothing beats the Conserva as it was originally imagined. I've tried their pasta dishes, their sandwiches - and they're all great. Wonderful flavors, and incredibly satisfying - and while I love to adventurously explore a menu, the Conserva reserves a special place in my heart. The staff is incredibly kind, the ambiance is great - I love the decor and the painting on the walls. The only thing that's tricky with the Grange is the wait time between ordering and receiving your food. But, in the words of Simon and Garfunkel: Slow down, you move too fast. read more

Absolutely horrible. We have given this place so many chances because we really wanted to like the place. The service is so snobby and sparse every time. Tonight we waited 20 minutes for a table (despite tables being open everywhere) only for the hostess to come out and say management changed their mind and they couldn't seat us anymore because we didn't have a reservation (open table still had available reservations). I highly encourage everyone to stay away until there is either new management or they care enough about the customers to get a better attitude. I get having a bad night but repeatedly having bad experiences is no longer excusable. Just a reminder to the Grange staff since it appears they have forgotten, customers are the reason why you are in business. It's best you start caring and treating your paying customers better or you will soon have none. read more
