Winter is a delightful hostess and she took my complicated order in person since it's easier to look at the menu in person. She is so sweet and totally got my cheese phobia and gluten intolerance. Pix to follow in my review once I dip into the to go order

Was on Woodinville last night after a glass fusing glass with a friend she suggested Big Fish Grill for dinner a place she has been before and enjoyed. They have a fairly large dining area and lounge. Host was friendly and we were immediately greeted upon entry. My friend ordered the paella and I had the Big Fish Cobb Salad. Both dishes were generous with seafood and the seafood was perfectly cooked. The chop salad had salmon, scallops and prawns. I'm glad I said dress on the side cause it usually comes tossed. We also had an order of bread that came out hot. Both dishes were well seasoned. I like a salad with lots of stuff and this had no shortage of items, olives, crumbled blue cheese, avocado, bacon, mushrooms, boiled egg was perfect meal for summer.

We were on a wine country weekend that happened to fall on the women's NCAA championship weekend, so of course we had to find a place to watch the game. Big Fish Grill had a good looking menu and the game on--win-win! The ambiance is sort of Sharis-ish, which IMO takes away from the experience of the food. Our server was GREAT! I didn't catch her name, but friendly with good recommendations and great customer service. The cocktails were pretty good! I had the Oddissee, a version of a Manhattan, which I really enjoyed. My friend had Grapefruit Crush, which made her wish she'd ordered wine. The dynamite shrimp was delicious! Highly recommend! The calamari--skip it. Rubbery and lacking in flavor. I got the shrimp and crab Louie, which I would have liked more if it had had something other than bay shrimp, but there was ample crab. Otherwise, pretty blah. My friend got the Big Fish Cobb, which looked a lot better than mine. I would have liked if garlic bread was on the menu.

We had a great dinner. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and made some great menu suggestions. Our dishes were plated beautifully and the flavors were delicious. All the staff were exceptional.

Great location, first of all. Lots of free parking around the location and a consistent American franchise vibe on the interior and exterior of the restaurant. Comprehensive menu, cocktails and desserts included. They have a few protein options and daily specials also. Dynamite shrimp is great here, their fish tacos were great too. Pricing is on the upper end of average, portion sizes are good. Overall, service was quite average and a bit slow. But they were nice and helpful.

We were in town for a wedding and met some family members here after finding this on Yelp. Cassandra was so warm and inviting! We really enjoyed her as our server. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The avocado crab salad was excellent! The two oyster people at the table liked the pan fried oysters. Mom loved her fisherman's stew and the crab Mac and cheese was a big hit. The fish and chips were good, but nothing special. The food came out a little slow, but the decor was nice and the place was very clean.

Another awesome exceptional delicious meal. This is a great place for lunch, dinner or anytime. Atmosphere is amazing. The service is 10/10z. General Manager Julian is incredible. Food was so good. Here with clients today while out running their errands. I had salmon and salad. They had fish and chips. Highly recommend this location! Definitely worth the price. Average meals.

The food was decent. But Service was slow. Our waiter was plenty helpful with the menu but left us alone too long too often. After his glowing review of the chicken piccata I ordered it. What came was really tasty halibut with a side of really good rice. My husband ordered the fish with chips (cod) which was quite good. Crispy beer batter, not greasy and the fish was light and flaky. Overall the food gets a 4 but service brought it down to a 3 overall.

Have been here twice now, second time being yesterday evening for our 9 year anniversary dinner. :) Had a very enjoyable experience, and I always appreciate the atmosphere. It is very upscale laid back, if you will. We had the Caesar salad, crab cakes, seafood jambalaya and the salmon special of grilled wild sockeye topped with crab meat. All selections were very tasty but I am picky about crab cakes and wish they were slightly more crisp. Otherwise, everything tasted fantastic. My husband said the jambalaya broth tasted too strongly of andouille sausage and not enough seafood flavor but I happened to love the flavor and kept stealing spoonfuls. We do plan to return and not just for special occasions but as a quiet date night every now and again. Oh, and BEST SOURDOUGH EVER.

My opinion of the Big Fish Grill is starting to slip. Yes. They have an enjoyable menu priced accordingly to being downtown Woodinville. The menu is sized correctly, Big Fish knows what it wants to cook. Yes, the staff is nice, friendly, and willing to stop by the table for a cordial, brief conversation. I noticed that the staff was spending time at all the tables, it was nice to see them engage. No, it wasn't too much time. Yes, the food was fast, fresh, well-seasoned; it was an enjoyable plate of food. Why not 5 stars? Big Fish is starting to show its age. The decor, colors, and design are becoming dated. Update it and it will shine once again.

1st time coming here and we were not disappointed, everything was absolutely delicious. The owner greeted us at the door, then waited on us, alomh with Mike. Everything fro. The drinks, to tje appetizers to our entrées, all so fresh, hot, flavorful, and absolutely delish we will definitely be back! Thanks for such great service, we came for lunch and it was not crowded which was lovely!

My husband and I got takeout from this place for lunch yesterday, and we both really enjoyed our food. We got the Spinach Artichoke Dip with Tortilla Chips for our Appetizer. The tri-color chips were crisp, thick, and warm, and not overly greasy. The Spinach Artichoke Dip was creamy, warm, and very flavorful. We did run out of chips before we ran out of Artichoke Dip, but we liked the dip so much that we found some crackers in the cupboard so that we could finish eating the dip. My husband got the Grilled Chicken Pesto Sandwich for his entree, and he really liked it. I got the Big Cobb Salad for my entree, and I loved it. The vinaigrette dressing tasted really good (although there wasn't quite enough of it included in our to-go bag), and everything was super fresh. There was a good-sized portion of salmon, 2 prawns, 2 scallops, an avocado, black olives, mushrooms, bleu cheese crumbles, and a hard-boiled egg on my salad. Great combination of flavors. We're both very happy with this place, and we would definitely go here again for lunch or possibly dinner.

Big Fish Sampler $35 It took 45 minutes to get our appetizer this was horrible! The crab cakes you tasted bad, the coconut shrimp crispy

It took 45 minutes to get our appetizer that was over cooked and honestly tasted bad for seafood. We love food and are full of Grace but this was a huge disappointment Denny's of seafood

But tonight, we dined!! Super clean and inviting interior in blacks and reds; lighting very subdued. Menu options are NUTS for a place this size, and we picked things that, for us, make or break an offering. We started with Caesar and FOS - the Caesar was bright and lemony but with a classic briny + umami backbone. The FOS brought a deep layered broth and onions rendered to within an inch of their life - topped with spoon-friendly bread and a ton of molten cheese. The better half had the cioppino with a half cluster of dungeness, probably size 12 prawns, mussels and clam all done perfectly and assembled in a classic tomato-seafood stock with just a little kick. I did the paella which was a great array of proteins with prawns, mussels and clams, backed with chicken and chopped Spanish chorizo. Great smoky depth with smoked pimentón and the chorizo. Paired up with a great house Sangria that is probably using a quality or reds that never typically make it into a Sangria. All of the wine list options you would expect from a place parked in the middle of the Hollywood Schoolhouse wine district. Check the hours before you go - don't be Aaron. ;). Note that their website says open til 9 on Sundays, but currently that is 6pm (maybe it's later in the summer). Lastly, I appreciated that the staff appear to have a close relationship to their 'regulars', with folks greeted by name, and picking up where they last left off when we were in there. That's a deal-maker for me.

As in, stop what you're doing, reflect for a moment, and then shake the hand of the chef when you're done. It's just that good. Our server was wonderful, just a fun and conversational and helpful guy as we settled in and throughout our meal. We were there on the late side on a very cold night and the heaters above our table really added to the warmth and experience. We cannot wait to return. Pot pie was life changing, spare ribs were excellent, the Brussel sprouts were very well done even tho the sauce (surprisingly bright in color) was quite bland, and the toffee pudding was outstanding. The wines and beers were great too. This restaurant will be on our "go-to" list for sure. What a gem!!!

Not too difficult to get a weekday reservation, but the restaurant was completely full and we definitely snagged the last parking spot in the outdoor lot, so I'm not sure where the overflow is. Bread Basket (2.75/5): A lot of the bread options were a bit stale and it's pretty expensive for nothing to stand out. Oysters (4.25/5): Probably the best bite. Super fresh and not fishy at all. Crab Cake (4/5): Good crunch and crab added some sweetness. Very solid. PB&J Foie Gras (3/5): I was most excited to try this, but I can't say I actually enjoyed it. It was interesting, but the foie gras was a little too gamey. Salmon Agnolotti (3/5): Agnolotti was good and portions were solid, but the salmon was barely seasoned / extremely under salted. Key Lime Pie (4.25/5): My favorite part of key like pie is the crust so this was right up my alley. Rides the line of tart and sweet with some extra freshness from the berry sauce / coulis. Chocolate Cake (4/5): Cake was moist and the chocolate lace added a nice crunch. Not the most luxurious / dark chocolate, but satisfying nonetheless.

Obviously the person on the grill wasn't trained or wasn't paying attention. Pacing was also a problem. Waited pretty long to order. Then salads came while we were finishing last bites of the appetizer. Then entrees came while I was literally in the middle of my salad. Talk about rushed. That salad would have been good if the shaved parm had been shaved. However, the pieces of parm were huge - really thick. Can't imagine who would think that was a good bite on a salad. The Broccolini was half cooked. I could barely cut the stem with a steak knife. Obviously. I couldn't eat those stems. They did not have a flight of wine that was all reds (i don't drink white wine). So why 4 stars instead of less? The mushroom toast appetizer was fantastic. I shouid have stopped there and would have been happy. The ceasar dressing and large crouton were good, even if the shaved parm was a bust. Once the steak was served to me medium as I'd ordered it, it was delicious and the fries were crispy and went well with the steak. I enjoyed the glass of wine I ordered. We didn't have time to be enjoying drinks or anything in those two hours as our server ignored our table completely. At multiple points in the meal we had to walk inside and ask for things and if they were coming. So we were just sitting hungry staring at one another.
