    Chicken Piccata. Sooo good
    Keri T.

Ever get a craving for something that's just hard to find--or even harder to make at home? For me, it's always paella. Thankfully, this spot has it, and it absolutely satisfied the craving. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant--exactly what you'd expect from a well-run seafood chain. The red crab cakes were a standout, especially with that rich, flavorful sauce. My husband ordered the chicken piccata and was instantly smitten. Fair warning: it's heavy on the garlic, so if that's not your thing, you might want to skip it. Overall, the experience was great. The only miss for me was the berry cobbler--it leaned more toward pie territory. Still tasty, just not quite what you'd expect if you're craving a true cobbler.

It was definitely good. But I don't think I will be returning. The waitress was really sweet and the ambiance is a classic dim lit restaurant with lamps at each table providing warm lighting. I would say the quality was between somewhere really nice (like The Keg) and Olive Garden. The dynamite shrimp tasted like honey walnut shrimp without the walnuts and the grilled wild salmon was good but nothing special. It was my first time trying cioppino and it was okay. My bf really liked the broth and the flavoring and I felt all the seafood was well cooked. Everything was good, just nothing super special.

Winter is a delightful hostess and she took my complicated order in person since it's easier to look at the menu in person. She is so sweet and totally got my cheese phobia and gluten intolerance. Pix to follow in my review once I dip into the to go order

Was on Woodinville last night after a glass fusing glass with a friend she suggested Big Fish Grill for dinner a place she has been before and enjoyed. They have a fairly large dining area and lounge. Host was friendly and we were immediately greeted upon entry. My friend ordered the paella and I had the Big Fish Cobb Salad. Both dishes were generous with seafood and the seafood was perfectly cooked. The chop salad had salmon, scallops and prawns. I'm glad I said dress on the side cause it usually comes tossed. We also had an order of bread that came out hot. Both dishes were well seasoned. I like a salad with lots of stuff and this had no shortage of items, olives, crumbled blue cheese, avocado, bacon, mushrooms, boiled egg was perfect meal for summer.

We were on a wine country weekend that happened to fall on the women's NCAA championship weekend, so of course we had to find a place to watch the game. Big Fish Grill had a good looking menu and the game on--win-win! The ambiance is sort of Sharis-ish, which IMO takes away from the experience of the food. Our server was GREAT! I didn't catch her name, but friendly with good recommendations and great customer service. The cocktails were pretty good! I had the Oddissee, a version of a Manhattan, which I really enjoyed. My friend had Grapefruit Crush, which made her wish she'd ordered wine. The dynamite shrimp was delicious! Highly recommend! The calamari--skip it. Rubbery and lacking in flavor. I got the shrimp and crab Louie, which I would have liked more if it had had something other than bay shrimp, but there was ample crab. Otherwise, pretty blah. My friend got the Big Fish Cobb, which looked a lot better than mine. I would have liked if garlic bread was on the menu.

We had a great dinner. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable and made some great menu suggestions. Our dishes were plated beautifully and the flavors were delicious. All the staff were exceptional.

Great location, first of all. Lots of free parking around the location and a consistent American franchise vibe on the interior and exterior of the restaurant. Comprehensive menu, cocktails and desserts included. They have a few protein options and daily specials also. Dynamite shrimp is great here, their fish tacos were great too. Pricing is on the upper end of average, portion sizes are good. Overall, service was quite average and a bit slow. But they were nice and helpful.

We were in town for a wedding and met some family members here after finding this on Yelp. Cassandra was so warm and inviting! We really enjoyed her as our server. Everyone enjoyed what they ordered. The avocado crab salad was excellent! The two oyster people at the table liked the pan fried oysters. Mom loved her fisherman's stew and the crab Mac and cheese was a big hit. The fish and chips were good, but nothing special. The food came out a little slow, but the decor was nice and the place was very clean.

Another awesome exceptional delicious meal. This is a great place for lunch, dinner or anytime. Atmosphere is amazing. The service is 10/10z. General Manager Julian is incredible. Food was so good. Here with clients today while out running their errands. I had salmon and salad. They had fish and chips. Highly recommend this location! Definitely worth the price. Average meals.

The food was decent. But Service was slow. Our waiter was plenty helpful with the menu but left us alone too long too often. After his glowing review of the chicken piccata I ordered it. What came was really tasty halibut with a side of really good rice. My husband ordered the fish with chips (cod) which was quite good. Crispy beer batter, not greasy and the fish was light and flaky. Overall the food gets a 4 but service brought it down to a 3 overall.

    Seafood Jambalaya
    Laiha C.

Have been here twice now, second time being yesterday evening for our 9 year anniversary dinner. :) Had a very enjoyable experience, and I always appreciate the atmosphere. It is very upscale laid back, if you will. We had the Caesar salad, crab cakes, seafood jambalaya and the salmon special of grilled wild sockeye topped with crab meat. All selections were very tasty but I am picky about crab cakes and wish they were slightly more crisp. Otherwise, everything tasted fantastic. My husband said the jambalaya broth tasted too strongly of andouille sausage and not enough seafood flavor but I happened to love the flavor and kept stealing spoonfuls. We do plan to return and not just for special occasions but as a quiet date night every now and again. Oh, and BEST SOURDOUGH EVER.

We booked a reservation via OpenTable and arrived right on time. They sat us immediately. Nothing too remarkable about the space. Looks like a typical American restaurant you would see in any town or city. I did notice the staff are very casually dressed with t-shirt uniforms which made me think this place is much more casual than I expected based on the menu. We ended up trying the following: - Spicy Steamed Manila Clams: Below average. The clams themselves were fine, but they were completely overpowered by the chorizo and broth. It felt more like eating a chorizo dish, with a few clams included. - Foie Gras Torchon: Ok. Foie gras was fine, but the crostini felt store bought and rather cardboard-like. - Peach and Burrata Salad: Ok. We got exactly as described, but didn't find it particularly fresh. - Chicago Pulled Pork Dip: Ok. Not an item I normally see on the menu in this part of the USA, it was not bad. Good bread to meat proportion, and pulled pork was pretty good. Chips were good too. Hearty dish, but not particularly memorable in any way. - House Cut French Fries: Below average. Fries were soggy. I thought the garlic-saffron aioli was a mustard because of how yellow it was - it didn't taste like much. Service was adequate. Friendly enough, but nothing outstanding. I will give credit for the complimentary cookies at the end of the meal - that was nice. Overall, I wasn't overly impressed. Maybe I was expecting more because of the high ratings on Yelp and Google reviews. I feel they have a pretty solid looking menu, but they cut corners on quality and execution, so the final result doesn't compare to other restaurants serving the same type of food.

I'm placing this as one of my new favorite sushi spots on the Eastside! Four of us came for an early dinner around 4:30P on a Saturday and got seating right away in a booth. The restaurant is on the smaller end with just a few tables on each side and a few seats at the sushi bar. In addition to an appetizer, two of us shared three specialty sushi rolls and the other two in our group ordered the chicken katsu meal set. Our sushi arrived beautifully all on one plate. Each specialty roll included 10 pieces and they all contained a generous amount of filling with a relatively thin rice layer, making the average price of $18 - $19 per roll worth the value. + TAKOYAKI ($7.50): These deep-fried dumplings had a soft creamy interior and housed a small piece of tender octopus. Four pieces came in an order, topped with mayo, unagi sauce and bonito flakes. I loved the crispy exterior and they were served steaming hot. I am not sure they were made in-house or frozen, but they were delicious. + KOUSHI ROLL ($17.99): A crab, avocado and cucumber roll topped with cajun seared salmon, spicy mayo, unagi sauce, green onion and fish roe. Between the crab filling and spicy mayo, this is a pretty creamy roll. The salmon on top had a very light sear, so while the smoky flavor was noticeable, I considered it closer to raw. The unagi sauce added some sweetness that offset the mild spice. + NAGOYA ROLL ($18.99): Tuna avocado roll topped with salmon, ponzu sauce, sweet sesame sauce, green onion and fish roe. The freshness of the fish especially shined here between the large cubes of tuna inside and the meaty slice of raw salmon on top. The sauce simply enhanced the roll without taking over the flavor, so it didn't distract from the purity of the ingredients. + SETO ROLL ($18.99): Spicy tuna and cucumber inside topped with tuna, ponzu sauce and green onion. This roll is HOT, like at least 3/5 stars on the spice scale! As spicy as it was, I really enjoyed it, especially since half the roll was topped with medium fatty tuna which was such a nice treat. Lean tuna draped over the other half. Chopped green onion on top added pops of freshness. The chicken katsu meal ($16.99) came with salad, rice and miso soup. I tried one piece of the chicken which was tender and had an excellent light crunch! Service was great as the two employees managing the dining room checked back a couple times and were actively watching in case any of the tables needed anything. I know I'll be back again for more sushi!

Bread Basket (2.75/5): A lot of the bread options were a bit stale and it's pretty expensive for nothing to stand out. Oysters (4.25/5): Probably the best bite. Super fresh and not fishy at all. Crab Cake (4/5): Good crunch and crab added some sweetness. Very solid. PB&J Foie Gras (3/5): I was most excited to try this, but I can't say I actually enjoyed it.
