Pasta was delicious as well, there was leftover pasta sauce that we just scooped up with the crust of the pizza. The ambience - amazing and beautiful. It is pretty spread out. I've only been here a couple times but I was able to find a table both times aside from the good amount of people the times I've came. We sat inside the tasting room and the food came out promptly. From the people who took your order at the Kitchen, food runners, pourers, even the lady at the dessert shop (even though we didn't get any dessert lol) was friendly. We wanted to get dessert, but we had 15 minutes left till closing, however she didn't rush us out the outside area. I saw that there was a sugar free pistachio gelato flavor. I love that, seems like it was a hit because it was nearly all out! Next time I do go, I definitely want to try that and their cannolis!!! I love Cannolis. Despite the fact that we had been given a 2-minute tutorial about throwing the axes, most of the games they had made no sense to us. We gained a bit of guidance from the group next to us. I also made an effort to ask our staff person some questions. However, I still feel like we had really not clue how the games worked. We were only given one ax for our group of three. It was just one style. I have been axe- throwing before, and they had lots of different possibilities. I remember that I had fun trying the different styles. In my past experience, they also gave us more education about the games we could play together so we didn't feel so lost. They were also more available for consult. I think Axe-Thro is a fine place to go if you want to throw some axes. It is not the best for bar food and dinks, or if you want a little information on the games you are playing.
