This is a go to spot for upscale sports environment. It's the only sports bar in the area, and you're going to be happy that it's the only one. The space is pretty massive, both in and outdoor seating for the lovely days. There's several TVs so you don't have to sacrifice missing the action wherever you're sitting. Lorraine helped me out at the bar and she's a super sweet chick. Lovely human that had some amazing things to say about the owners and this location. The happy hour food is plentiful and it tastes great at a great price. I'll definitely be back, thanks so much Maureen for the help and the good vibes.

Sahil is the friendliest bartender I have ever had here and honestly will continue to come here because of him! I have enjoyed coming to this spot to watch a game or just enjoy happy hour on the patio since our pup can sit out there with us but Sahil really made sure to check in on us and recommend different appetizers and drinks. They have a good variety of food here but the menu is on the smaller side. I do wish some of the happy hour food items were on the main menu as well because we enjoy them a lot but we continue to come back here frequently even to just grab a drink after shopping at Trader Joes.

Fries cooked amazingly! Good ranch!!! Drink made amazingly too!! Service was great! And the happy hour was great!! 7 dollar retro drinks! Playing good music!

First time here and will definitely be back. Came here on mothers day and it seems a bit slow. Only dish I didnt like and wouldnt recommend is the Philly cheesesteak it was a bit on the saltier side everything else was delicious

Pacific social is nestled in a seemingly boring complex, but when you enter it feels like you are in a high class restaurant. The decor and ambiance is super fun! Everyone I interacted with was super helpful (especially Adam at the host stand). There's lots of space for big groups, they offer a great happy hour...and PIE! All kinds of pie! Highly recommend checking out

I came to Pacific Social for a work lunch for about 14 of us. Service was top notch. They stayed on top of everything with refills, good pacing of taking drink/appetizer/entree orders, and serving the different courses. We were sitting inside because of the rain, but it was still a nice atmosphere. Everything was clean and it was a modern, bright setup. I really liked their hand soap in the bathroom - Lemon Verbena scent! In terms of food, the star of the show was the BBQ Short Rib Mac & Cheese. I ordered it as an appetizer for the table and it was LOVED! I had the chicken pot pie - delicious, though the texture and consistency wasn't exactly what I expected. It was a bit denser with more shredded chicken than chunks of chicken. The flaky crust was buttery and amazingly tasty. One of my colleagues got the salmon and enjoyed it. The restaurant is located very close to the shopping center's free parking garage with plenty of parking, making it quick & stress-free to visit.

Steakhouse chop salad with the steak on the side. Generous portion of blue cheese and very crispy bacon. Yum!!

Tucked away in an adorable small outdoor mall, this little restaurant has very large interior with a small heated covered outdoor patio. Service was very helpful - recommending top dishes. Attentive refilling coffee and water. Ordered from the brunch menu: pan social breakfast burrito (short rib, eggs, applewood bacon, French fries, chipotle sauce, pico de gallo and smashed Ava avacado). My friend really enjoyed this, was served with salsa and black corn chips. I ordered off regular menu: steakhouse chopped salad. I asked for the steak medium rare and on the side. Salad was very fresh, with bacon, plenty of blue cheese, pickled red onions and ranch dressing. Overall, food was good! I think it's worth checking out! Pro tip: you can ask for both brunch and regular menus.

Trendy sports bar environment at Pacific Social is a great place to hangout for happy hour or enjoy a meal. The food is overall very good and the service is friendly. I appreciate the menu is labeled with allergens and vegetarian options. The spinach artichoke dish was creamy with a strong delicious garlic flavor. A little disappointed the gluten free substitute traded the tortilla chips with celery since tortilla chips are almost always gluten free. The chicken strawberry salad was a generous portion sized and quite tasty.

This is an amazing and fun restaurant, and we had a great server (Isabel) who brought us the biggest/best pretzel we've ever seen! The decor is wonderful and modern. Also, there is a really fun arcade upstairs that even includes The Simpsons game!

I was hoping for a better experience at Pacific Social than I had. We arrived early afternoon and there were only a few patrons dining. We got a table and ask to see the regular menu in addition to the brunch menu, but the regular menu never arrived. I ordered the Caesar salad with the grilled chicken and my friend ordered the Cesar salad with the blackened salmon. Both items were on the low $20's each. I find the service to be interesting because after waiting for 25 minute for two salad with the place about 20% full, the served brought the salads out to the table and asked if we needed anything else. I sat their looking for a bit to see if he would notice, but I felt he did not, so I politely asked if he could be so kind to bring as a plate setting and some utensil to eat the salads with. That definitely sparked an oh "$@^#" on the look on his face. The salads were okay. My grilled chicken however was very dry and had to be chewed and swallowed. It was for sure precooked and then placed on the grill to reheat. I should have asked for a re fire, but since we were running late and it took so long to bring the first order out, I decided to pass and eat what was plated. The salad itself was good, but the dressing that I asked on the side was way too thick for a Caesar dressing. My friend stated his salmon was a little done but good and seasoned well. He's a chef and did state that the salmon was served on the wrong side or upside down. The place offers a lot of seating. It definitely had that bar and grill appeal with all the large flat screens about. The service I thought was lackluster and very, how would I say, careless to be honest. I expected better from a Cohn Restaurant Group eater. Oh yes, they still charge that 5% service charge. I don't like that.

    Alan S.

Soooo I needed to believe the yelp elites when they talked about this spot. First I didn't see the apparent sign for a 5% supplemental charge and I asked for them to take it off. The service was ok and the food was lackluster. I got the grilled strawberry and chicken and I can say that the chicken was rubbery and tough overall salad was plentiful but the taste of the warm chicken and the cold salad just was not a great mix. I would also say my coworkers got their food and it was like every other review where it was just OK. I do think the happy hour selection is a positive overall the prices are pretty high for quality of food and overall service that you get That being said I can see they are charging more to accommodate the price of its location and I'm sure as you can see the business was not as busy during a lunchtime It is hard to compete when you have Mexican restaurant next-door selling $1.36 fish tacos

This fun food spot is in Carmel Valley. It is currently listed on SD's Restaurant Week so my Hubs and I wanted to check it out. We both ended up getting items on their Happy Hour Menu and Regular Menu. I got a Lemon Drop Martini which was tasty. We tried the Beer Cheese Bacon Fries and Smoked Wings. Both were yummy. Just be prepared to messy fingers with the wings. Then I got the BBQ Short Rib Mac n Cheese with a Caesar Salad. Delicious! My Husband got the Pac Social Burger. Finishing the night with a Banana Pie in a Cup which I devoured! Our Server was awesome and knowledgeable. This place has a cool little arcade area upstairs and it is decorated to take tons of photos throughout the restaurant.

We have been here for brunch in the past, mainly for their bottomless mimosas! We just recently discovered their happy hour - which is everyday! Today we ordered the $20 burger combo on the happy hour menu. This comes with a glass of wine or a pint of beer. Can't beat that price anywhere! Happy hour is Monday-Friday open until 5:30. Saturday-Sunday 2-5:30. Bon appetite!

I chose the back, and I'm so glad I did because the view is absolutely beautiful. I also had my dog with me, and they were incredibly dog friendly. They brought her a dog bed and a surprisingly extensive dog menu with some really great options. We ordered: *Lobster Tacos : Three generously filled tacos served with salsa and guacamole. They were absolutely delicious and loaded with lobster, topped with fresh avocado. *Rancho Burger: Easily one of the best burgers I've had. It was cooked perfectly, and we added Swiss cheese. They even cut it in half for my friend and me to share. The fries were fantastic too, crispy and somewhere between steak fries and thin-cut fries. *Shepherd's Pie (Dog Menu) : The menu listed it with beef, but they accidentally brought out the chicken version. Since my dog is allergic to chicken, they immediately apologized, took it back, and made a fresh beef version. The customer service was excellent, and my dog absolutely devoured it. The portion was generous, and it looked fresh enough for a human to eat. The service was phenomenal from start to finish. Our food arrived in less than 20 minutes, the views were stunning, and the menu had so many tempting options that I'll definitely be back to try more. Overall, this was a fabulous lunch, and I highly recommend it.

What truly disappointed us was the restaurant's response. Other than a brief apology from the server, no manager or staff member came over to check on our daughter, ask if she was injured, or offer any assistance. Seeing a young child crying after being hit by a shattered glass bottle should have prompted someone to show at least a little concern. It has now been two days, and she still has a visible bruise from the incident. We weren't looking for free food or compensation. We simply expected empathy, professionalism, and genuine care after an accident involving a child. Unfortunately, we left feeling that our family's well-being was not treated as a priority. I hope the restaurant will improve how it responds when situations like this happen in the future.

Given the restaurant's reputation and…read morehigher-end pricing, we arrived expecting a memorable dining experience, but across both meals we found the food and service fell well short of expectations. -- Dinner We started with the Roasted Tomato Soup, which tasted very similar to a canned grocery store soup - perfectly edible, but lacking the freshness and depth we expected. The Spicy Rigatoni Alla Vodka was certainly spicy, but beyond the heat it was surprisingly bland and short on flavor. Dessert - the Samoa Sundae, along with the complimentary cookies (which were a nice touch) - was the standout of the evening and genuinely excellent. We regularly dine at Michelin-starred and other fine dining restaurants, so we're more than happy to pay premium prices when the quality warrants it. Here, however, the value simply wasn't there. Charging around $40 for a basic pasta dish and $15 for simple sides like fries sets a reasonably high bar, and unfortunately the food didn't live up to those expectations. Service was friendly and attentive overall, although there were a few noticeable missteps, including dishes being served to the wrong guests and water being poured while we were in the middle of settling the bill. -- Breakfast Breakfast the following morning reinforced our overall impression. Coffee was served from an automated bean-to-cup machine rather than being freshly prepared, which felt out of place for a restaurant at this price point. We also weren't offered sugar with our coffee and had to wait until we could flag someone down. We noticed the café just a few meters away was preparing barista-made coffee and matcha drinks, but when we asked, our server wouldn't offer them from the restaurant. We then overheard her telling another table that they would need to walk over to the café to order them separately, and that these premium drinks weren't included in the complimentary hotel breakfast. The food itself was equally disappointing. The eggs were overcooked - hard, rubbery, and lacking much flavor. The deconstructed salmon bagel was an odd choice. At $28, we expected a thoughtfully composed dish, not one that required us to assemble it ourselves. It felt more like an unnecessary gimmick than an elevated presentation. The pancakes were fine, albeit slightly raw in the middle. My father is vegan and, after noticing that the only breakfast entrée suitable for his diet was the Avocado Toast, I emailed the hotel in advance to ask whether any additional options could be prepared during our three-night stay, so he wouldn't have to eat the same dish every morning. Two days later, I received a reply that essentially reiterated what was already on the menu and said my comments would be passed along to the restaurant team. Unfortunately, I never received any further communication from the restaurant team, and his dietary requirements were not acknowledged in any way during breakfast. For a hotel and restaurant positioned at this level, that was particularly disappointing. Service also slipped at the end of the meal. Once we had finished eating, our server disappeared entirely. After waiting for some time, we eventually had to go inside the restaurant to find someone so we could ask for the check, only for that employee to then head to the back to locate our server. -- Overall, both meals were adequate, but neither came close to justifying the restaurant's reputation or pricing. During our three-night stay at the hotel, we chose to dine elsewhere after our first dinner and breakfast, and left feeling that there are far better dining options available.

It was a perfect mix of quiet in the main room and sports on the patio and bar. We could talk and eat while having the ability to watch one of many screens. Our server was named Dennis. He was absolute perfection. We had to ask his name so we could remember him for our next visit. Each drink and dish he suggested was a home run! I tried a "MINIMAL CONSEQUENCES" drink. It was a non alcoholic delight!! JUICY WATERMELON SPRITZ fresh pressed lemon, smashed watermelon, sparkling coconut water - yummy!!! I will get it again for sure!!! The tomato soup is SO Delicious!!! We were told it was good and it was beyond that. It was called listed as "better the next day", it would be perfection on any day, even cold! CRISPY CHICKEN KATSU sandwich was SO YUMMY!!! The japanese milk bread was beyond fresh! It had spicy miso aioli, napa slaw, hoisin with French fries. We split the soup and sandwich and it was still filling! Since it was my father's birthday we were treated to a mud pie.... I will not forget that pie any time soon. We will return and I am already telling friends. I have walked past on live music days and promised I would try it one day and today was that day!!! I will return with friends!

The restaurant was beautiful and extremely clean. The ambience was really inviting and warm. The service was definitely top tier. We ordered a lot, which we started with the asparagus fries and california salad. For entries, we ordered the sea bass, fried chicken, and bistro plate. All of them were super delicious! We really appreciated the portion sizes as well. Out of all the dishes, the sea bass was the best. The fish basically melted in your mouth. Lastly, 100% order the butter cake. It's what Nick's is known for. It comes with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream. You can easily share this with 2-3 people.

AMAZING SERVICE!…read more Hubby and I spent our 1 year anniversary dinner at Nick's. The menu is limited but for good reasons. The drinks and food is amazing and meets beyond expectations. Our waitress, Kassidy, did an amazing job greeting us and telling us the highlights of the menu. She even went the extra mile to tell me I had a shopping tab attached to my shirt and she was very discreet in telling me and removing it. Thank you Kassidy! I got the bistro plate. The meat was very well seasoned to my liking. The salad was delicious and never had one like theirs. The tomato soup was flavorful. I thought I would be hungry afterwards but it really filled me up. They also ended the night with giving us a chocolate cake to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you for making this an amazing experience for us!

We started at the bar and then wanted to table inside and they did their best on the incredible soccer night to accommodate us which they did and we thank them for that. She had 11 tables to look over and we were just happy that she took our order and it came out and it was great. I really can't comment on the food because we only had our table for a half an hour. My sister has beers and I got wine and then one Hugo spritz. For beers, it's pretty pricey imo at $10 a glass. Wine was average priced. The Hugo spritz was an interesting take on with some sort of orange flavor in it. Not my favorite one I've had but did the job. The aesthetics are lovely here and the huge outdoor, open seating is what drew my sister and I here and we did enjoy a lot. Maybe would come back to have food if in the area for a show.
