The scenery is more than enough to keep me here is a beautiful coffee house literally is built out of a very large house it seems to have existed here for almost 90 years... I love the interior it's comfortable and in the warmer months there's even wonderful outdoor seating. Now let's get to the fun part, the breakfast sandwich I had it on a buttery croissant with sausage and pepper jack cheese it didn't really have time to cool down because I inhaled it I am naturally I'm very talkative person so that must mean I have a big mouth... And I took big bites and this thing was so good it was gone in less than three minutes... Had to have the Italian cream soda because I was already talking everybody's years of being annoying from other caffeine and had previously in life I love the cream soda especially with whip cream... I had to go with strawberries for my flavor. This is a beautiful way to start your day I can see why people would never leave this city.

Food was good breakfast sandwiches, hot chocolate, and coffee was all good. No fresh juice though.

Great food, wonderful atmosphere and super friendly staff. The coffee was full flavored and matched by great food. The breakfast burrito and egg sandwiches are amazing.

This is what the cost of cream cheese gets ya. The see through kind.

I typically love the Green Bean but I'm gonna have to stop getting bagels here. If you think that's butter, it's not. This is what you get when you ask to ADD cream cheese FOR ADDITIONAL COST. The best part is, this isn't the first time this has happened so I asked for a decent amount and here she is. Can hardly see it and can't even taste it. I love Green Bean but save yourself some money when it comes to breakfast and don't order the cream cheese, cause your not getting any anyway.

Neat location and facility! I had the sausage bagel and some coffee. Staff was friendly and looks like a great small place to try lunch as well.

We had wonderful housemade sandwiches and coffee. Quaint and charming that was an old historic home. Thank you!

Neat little coffee shop! Great iced latte. Had the Almond Joy w/ 1/2 syrup and an x-shot. Pastries were good too.

The choice of a side of pancake instead of toast is not really worth it. It's only one very small pancake, so you're better off taking the toast. The fried seafood dish was heavily battered, and my dining partner left a good portion of his meal. Probably not the best choice on the menu. But breakfast was good and the salad bar seems to be a popular choice. On another visit, my friend got a burger and it was huge. He said it was good. I again got eggs, this time with hashbrowns and an English muffin. It's hard to mess that up. It's not quite as good as that at First Gold, as hard to beat those hashbrowns, but this was also good.

The burger was huge, bigger than the bun. The burger was juicy, cooked perfectly with crisp bacon. Husband had chicken friend steak covered in sausage gravy. It came with eggs and hashbrowns. It was a tender steak and the sausage gravy was thick and flavorful. Service was friendly, coffee was refilled frequently and food came out quickly. This place is nostalgic as it doesn't look like much has changed since the 70's. Total diner vibe. We really enjoyed breakfast here. Great food!

Our group of 3 had corn beef hash, salad with chicken, pancakes, eggs and bacon. The pancakes were described as "the best restaurant pancakes I've ever had" We walked in about 30 minutes before they were closing (1:30pm closing time) but were welcomed warmly and our waitress was attentive and chipper without hovering. And even with iced tea and a soda, the total was $33. If we're ever this way again we'll definitely come back.

Everything from the attitude greeting at the door to paying the incorrect tab amount. It was awful. It took us a minute to find parking and finally found a spot up the street. We walked in and immediately the lady said how many people, we said 4 and she then said 'Well we have a limited menu today. You can get a breakfast burrito, breakfast sandwich or biscuits and gravy'. All of us were fine with that and said that is okay, then she looked around the room and said 'Well it is going to be a while' and then walked away. Not even a hi when we walked in the door, just straight to trying to drive us away. I went to the restroom and as I came out a table of 5 people that all had biscuits and gravy was being sent back the kitchen. That didn't look good since that is what I wanted. I heard the server ask the cook if he could heat them all up. I guess they were all cold. I could deal with that. We stood around waiting for about 15-20 minutes and the I walked over to their tiny casino area and threw in $5 to waste some time. Finally the same rude chic said to us that she had 2 high top 2 seat tables if we wanted to split. We were tired of waiting so we took them. Then we waited and waited. We watched several people come in and wait to be greeted and never spoken to, so they leave disgruntled. We waited maybe another 15-20 minutes watching other tables wait for their food and even their drinks to come. We finally got asked what we wanted to drink. We got iced tea each and ordered our limited menu breakfast. And then we waited FOREVER. The table next to us finally got their food in 2 waves with about 5-10 minutes apart. The server said the cook cannot make the gravy fsst enough. Honestly, they shouldn't have the biscuits and gravy on the menu if it takes that long. And why couldn't they have a basic breakfast, eggs, hash brown ham or sausage and toast. This was literally the items on the sandwich or the burrito. Would have made things easier for the cook. Our food finally arrived. My husbands breakfast sandwich looked amazing and it was steaming hot. My biscuits and gravy were good.... at first. One biscuit was light and fluffy but when I got to the second biscuit it was completely burned on the bottom. I couldn't even cut it. I gave up. The server gave us our tab and charged up for an omelet and hash browns for $13. They didn't even have omelets available! Then when my husband questioned the bill and the server started arguing with him. How are you going to charge us for something you don't even offer? It was ridiculous. Overall we were there for almost 2 hours which cut in to our drive time to come back to Denver. Thanks, but I won't ever be back.
